Behold My Ambition  After a long and thoughtful journey since leaving his home region of Kanto behind, Crimson finally made it to the Johto region, more than ready to start out his new life and fulfil his dream of becoming a Pokemon Master, the same ambition that was reignited ever since he was a small boy. He took the moment to enjoy the surrounding environment around him and breathed in the fresh air as he made his way down Route 29, his hands resting comfortably in his pockets, moving his hood to cover his head offering warmth to his ears.
"So this is the Johto Region huh? I can't believe I am finally going to become a Pokemon Trainer. Don't worry Mum, Dad. I know you're watching me from up high. I'll make you proud."
Crimson smiled for the first time in years, as he starts a gentle jog down the road, more than ready for the challenge that presented itself before him, the pursuit of gym battles, the glory of winning a battle, collecting pokemon and bonding strong friendships. This was the dream, the ambition that he waited to participate for so long and today was his grand opportunity. |

Behold My Ambition Route 29 was certainly a remarkable place to explore and examine the vast open world full of possibilities and wonder. Crimson continued his journey down the road until he stopped and spotted a wild Pokemon right before him! He gasped at the little creature and noticed it's posture, mannerism and type. He was intrigued at the Tyrogue and immediately went to get out the Johto Pokedex that he received by the good Professor Oak that Crimson before he left Kanto.
"Hmm... What kind of Pokemon are you?"
Soon the Pokedex flickered with life, as it began to scan and analyse Tyrogue and answered with the following:
"Tyrogue - The Scuffle Pokemon."
"Tyrogue is the pre-evolve form of Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, and Hitmontop. It has a small but very energetic body."
Crimson's eyes widen at the information provided by the Pokedex and looked at the fighting type creature before him, this would make a good start on his collection journey into becoming a Pokemon Master and will set the bar even higher with an additional pokemon to train and use for future battles. However, he brought out his Pokeball that contained his Bulbasaur and knew that his first pokemon had to become stronger in order to ever stand a chance against other trainers who no doubt had a great advantage over him.
With his decision made, Crimson glared and hurled the Bulbasaur Pokeball forward, activating it:
"GO BULBASAUR! I CHOOSE YOU!"
Bulbasaur let loose a battle cry as it materialised into the world, staring at Tyrogue down on all fours, waiting to have a command from his Master. "Bulbasaur! Use your Vine Whip!" The small Grass-Type Pokemon grunted with a nod, spewing out two vines from underneath it's bud and began to unleash several swipes at the Tyrogue, causing some considerable damage! However, the fighting type pokemon wanted payback and went on the offensive and began to use Tackle against Crimson's Pokemon which landed a hit doing slightly modest damage. Crimson kept concentrated on his Pokemon, clenching his fist and waved his hand. "Alright Bulbsaur, we're doing good! Let's send him our own Tackle!"
The Pokemon once again obeyed and went charging head first into Tyrogue's midsection with a powerful BAM! it was a Critical Hit! It was more than enough force that it caused the fighting pokemon to fall onto it's back with a thud, knocking it out completely. Crimson smiled with pride and a thumbs up to his Bulbasaur.
"Alright! Nice job Bulbasaur! Now let's see if we can find another pokemon to fight or capture." |

Behold My Ambition Just as soon as Crimson and his Bulbasaur were about to continue on their journey through Route 29 after having just defeated a Tyrogue, the young man took a step backwards at the sight of another Pokemon as it seemingly appeared right in front of them and ready for a fight, and judging by it's stance, size, and the eagerness to fight. Crimson never expected to have to fight another Pokemon so quickly, he gave a glance to his Bulbasaur, which he returned the same look back to his trainer and gave a firm nod.
With a satisfied smile on Crimson's face, he got out his Pokedex to gather Data on the Meditite. The Dex answered with the following information:
"Meditite - The Meditation Pokemon."
"Meditite meditates in order to build up it's mental energy. It's said that it eats one berry a day."
Crimson noticed that this pokemon was a mixture of a fighting and psychic type Pokemon, and after fighting a previous fighting type Pokemon, the young man honestly did not want a second fighting pokemon in one go. However, if it meant that his Bulbasaur could use the experience to become stronger, he really couldn't complain that much. With his arm launched forward in a commanding pose, Crimson signalled the beginning of another battle.
"Alright! We beaten a fighting type Pokemon before Bulbasaur, let's do it again! Use your leech seed!"
Bulbasaur roared as he fired three seeds from it's bud which managed to hit Meditite, little buds already bloomed upon contact and stuck onto the pokemon, as every move the fighting pokemon made, a piece of it's health will dwindle and will be used to restore a small portion of Bulbasaur's health. Meanwhile Meditite began to concentrate and use it's 'Meditate' ability, as it began to increase it's attack power. Crimson watched as Bulbasaur's leech seed took effect, draining a piece of it's health and restoring Bulbasuar's health from it's previous battle against the Tyrogue.
"Very good, now use Vine Whip. Take it down quickly before it can unleash it's attack!"
Once more another strong command made by the trainer, Bulbasaur used his long range vines appeared from underneath the bud from it's back and began to assault the Meditite, taking a more considerable damage from the attack, and once again the Meditite used it's Mediation ability, gaining an additional power boost but also having it's life drained and restoring Bulbasaur's health. Crimson growled as he clenched his fist.
"Alright Bulbasaur! Finish it off with a tackle! Let's stop it before it has a chance to power up again!"
With speed and aggression, Bulbasaur charged at the Meditite and tackled the fighting Pokemon, aiming for the head which finally knocked the Pokemon out before it had the chance to use it's Bind attack. Crimson sighed, sitting down for a moment which his Bulbasaur returned to his side. "That was tense... I don't even want to know what would've happened if it had the chance to unleash it's full power." Bulbasaur barked, using his front leg to point at the open Plains of Route 29 and Crimson gave a firm nod.
"You're right Bulbasaur, let's try having a look over there before we go to see the Pokemon Centre." After getting up onto his feet, Crimson and Bulbasaur made their way further into the grass area of Route 29, walking into the Open Plains of the area. |

Behold My Ambition This was the opportune moment for both Bulbasaur and Crimson to be prepared for the next upcoming battle, and low and behold as they stumbled more into the open plains of Route 29, the fighting Pokemon Mankey. Crimson stared at the posture and the clear aggressive attitude coming from the Pokemon and once again got out his Pokemon to get a general analysis of the fighting-type Pokemon:
"Mankey - The Pig Monkey Pokemon."
"Known for its superior footwork, it packs a powerful punch. Although Mankey is usually calm, it does have a bad temper. Once Mankey begins to Fury Swipe, stopping it is impossible."
The last line sent a chill down Crimson's spine, never before has he heard a fighting Pokemon with such ferocity, and yet he knew that this Pokemon will be a perfect opponent for Bulbasaur, now that he has managed to recovered with the help of Leech seed from having to face against Meditite. "Alright Bulbasaur, looks like we got one more Fighting Type Pokemon to beat! This will greatly help in collecting some experience. So let's finish this with a bang! Bulbasaur use Poison Powder!"
The Bulb from Bulbasaur's back began to spew a Purple shower of poison, Mankey didn't expect such a move and got caught in the mist, coughing violently as it was afflicted with Poison. Alas, this made the fighting-type angry, as it went charging and proceeded to attack with a Low Kick which landed with a Critical Hit! However, due to being Poison the moved caused Mankey to cough and stagger on his feet. Bulbasaur was also staggering, gritting from the pain of such a critical hit, Crimson slightly began to sweat, this Mankey was proving to be a difficult challenge to face against. "Come on Bulbasaur, we got this. Use Tackle!" Bulbasaur grunted as it went charging towards the Mankey and bashed the fighting-type's face with his head, but then received a scratch attack in retaliation by Mankey whilst it suffered from Poison Powder's infliction once again.
Crimson saw that this was now getting dangerous, he needed Bulbasaur to win this fight. "OK Bulbasaur! Vine Whip! Send him back!" The trainer commanded with a stern tone in his voice, Bulbasaur proceeded to whip and thrash Mankey with such an attack, sending the fighting-type Pokemon flying back, but not before Mankey came charging forward for a Fury Swipe! However, due to the large distance Bulbasaur managed to dodge the attack, causing it to miss! Not only that Mankey began to weaken from the poison infliction, it was now or never:
"Now! Tackle!!"
Bulbasaur gave one last charge and bashed Mankey from behind, knocking it out on the floor. Crimson sighed with relief as it called his Pokemon back to it's Pokeball and smiled. "Well done Bulbasaur, I'd say that was some amazing training today. Let's get you to a pokemon Centre." In that Moment, the hooded young man returned to the main road and pressed onward to Yoshino City, proceeding to get his Pokemon fully healed.
(+ 6 Levels due to defeating all three fighting type Pokemon! Bulbasaur is now Level 11!)
