[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] Opting to take the other route to Fusube had been a wrong move for Kyle. The choice of either going through the hills of Route 45 or the frigid caves of the Ice Path was a difficult decision, but given his previous experiences on Route 45, he currently was subconsciously led by his decisions to this predicament. Hiking uphill obviously involved a lot of work, and going through a cave of sorts instead did sound much more convenient than the other choice, not to mention being in a chilly environment when the sun was in its peak at present did sound tempting. Rubbing his sides, Kyle attempted to keep himself warm with only his casual clothing protecting him from the low temperatures. He'll adapt to it soon, he supposed, but the process of getting there was slow and painful. At least the hoodie he was wearing had longer sleeves as opposed to the plain shirts he always wore. Regardless, it doesn't help that much at all. He forced himself to take long strides. With the cold, he was almost tempted to curl up in a ball, though he knew that it was bad news. Movement was one thing that can warm him up, that much he knew, and so he got his body to move more than what he was used to. It was still a long way to go though, and so Kyle kept rubbing furiously as he traversed the Ice Path. MADE BY NOVA |

The Ice Path why the hell did he comes here? It’s not like this Ranger has nothing against the cold like Autumn is his favorite season after all but it’s chilly as hell he should’ve brought his coat or something! “Parsifal!” The Ranger shivered while covering his arms and sneezing out snout. “Can you lighten up the place a bit or something I’m freezing?” The Growlith flicked his tail as if the pup was telling him to deal with the cold causing Zeref to moan even more. “But Parsifal!” The Ranger cried before looking over to his two new companions Lancelot the Kirlia and Poseidon the Croconaw. “Do you see what I have to deal with everyday?” He whined. “Just be prepared if you ever ask Parsifal something he’ll give you this treatment!”

Lancelot gave a nod as if this little guy was taking him seriously while Poseidon laughed his head off. Parsifal turned around to face the Croconaw causing Poseidon to shut his mouth. The alligator whistled underneath his breath causing the pup to flip his bang before walking away. Zeref shook his head at this sighing once more. “Great I guess Parsifal showed them who is in charge around here. I guess they won’t be able to save my ass if he tries to pull a fast one on me. At least you have my back right Malice…. Malice?” The Ranger turned his head towards his ghost type friend who was currently practicing her posing skills in a corner causing Zeref to sigh once more. “What a great team I have.” He sighed. “Let’s keep moving before Parsifal bites our head off.” The Ranger said as he continued following behind his partner while keeping an eye out on his team.

[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] Eyes were half-closed at this point, his slouched posture and his expression clearly showing that he wanted nothing but to get this over with. Reports of Fire-types in the Ice Path would've suggested that they'd warm the place up for him, but as far as his experience goes, nothing much else change. Perhaps they still needed to give it a week or two before they manage to melt the entire layers of frost that covered the caverns. Kyle would be waiting for the time when they do. Amid of contemplating of dying on the spot, Kyle turned around as soon as he heard a familiar whining. Eyes soon spotted the ranger who he had the opportunity of making acquaintances with, walking through the Ice Path with his entire team out of their Pokeballs. He had a Fire-type with him if he remembered correctly, which his brain probably won't mistake as something else especially since it was a Growlithe. He's bound to be warm and fuzzy, he bet. As he proceeded to approach him, a Magmar had decided to block his path. A smug little smile was on its face, earning it a great distaste from Kyle. The Magmar was warm, but there was no way he'd let it go his way around him. "Rhyhorn,put this thing in its place." Releasing the Spikes Pokemon out, he could see the Rock-type flinch as soon as the cold air came in contact with him. He quickly shrugged it off, though Kyle wasn't sure if it meant he was fine or if he was just toughing it out. "Drill Run."As he figured, his Rhyhorn's joints had become rather stiff from the cold air. A quick run immediately got him to warm up though, and before long, he was charging at full speed at the Magmar who blocked their way. Smug as it was, it tried to oppose the charging Rhyhorn's attack by breathing fire at it, but to no avail. His plated armor had managed to shrug off the attack, allowing him to ram right into the Fire-type without slowing it down, knocking it up in the air. "Stone Edge."It probably was overkill, but Kyle just wanted to make sure that it won't bother him again. As the Fire-type landed from the collision, his Rhyhorn forced sharp rocks out of the ground in an angle, meeting the Magmar half way as it fell and throwing it off from their way. As soon as it was gone, Kyle proceeded to walk over and greet his fellow Ice Path traveler, his Rhyhorn following after his trainer. Hands still rubbing the sides of his arms, he'd call for his attention as he approached. "Hey!" It was only when he got closer that he noticed Zeref sporting Pokemon he was sure he didn't have the last time he met him. "You got, uh, new Pokemon, huh?" The thought of asking to cuddle with his Growlithe for warmth had passed his mind entirely when his attention was distracted with the new sights. Defeated Magmar! MADE BY NOVA |

Zeref and his team would say as they march their way down the Ice Path with Parsifal leading the way! The pup’s tail would wag back and forth and his tongue would be sticking out as he enjoyed every damn moment of this beauty! The pup would halt and so would the rest of the squad. His ears and tail perked up causing the Growlithe to turn his head to see a Houndour need by…. Wait a Houndour? The pup tilted his head before turning his gaze to Zeref. When Zeref caught on the Ranger nearly jumped ten feet into the air.

“What’s a Houndour doing here?” This is unusual normally ice types live in these parks. If a fire type were here then that would screw with global warning. “This is bad we need to do something about this. Poseidon your up this is a good practice for you!” Ah finally what took him so long? Poseidon lifted up his chest as he walked by Parsifal asking if the pup could move to a side. Parsifal growled underneath his breath, brushed his tail to the side before walking away to let Poseidon to do his thing but it looks as if this pup is going to have a long talk with this alligator.

“Alright Poseidon since this is our first time working together I’m going to take over on this match. Normally I let my team do what they want in a battle and if something doesn’t seem right or if you’re in a struggle I’ll step in. This goes for you as well Lancelot!” Zeref explained to his new comrades. Both of them gave a salute allowing Zeref to place a smile on his face appreciating the fact his Pokemon understands exactly what’s going on. “Great Lancelot I’m going to have you fight the next round so for the time being lets get warmed up for this match. We’re going to start off with using SCARY FACE! Let’s lower it’s speed stats partner!”

Poseidon gave a smirk before walking up to the Houndour giving it a scary ass look that even made Kirlia hide behind his trainer. The Houndour lowered its head after getting hit by SCARY FACE before Zeref called out his next attack. “WATER GUN!” The alligator lifted up its jaw before shooting out a beam of water straight at the Houndour and made a direct hit! “Great work but it’s coming at you with CRUNCH try to dodge it and use WATER GUN AGAIN!” Poseidon jumped into the air to dodge the attack then shot out another WATER GUN landing another hit however, once Poseidon fell back to the ground, the Houndour shot out a inferno like flames and it landed a hit right on the alligator! The alligator shook it off as if it was nothing before Zeref called out another WATER GUN attack! The fire type dodged it but the alligator wasn’t going to let it slide.

When the dark type dog shot out another INFERNO, Poseidon decided to do a backflip and when he landed right behind him he shot out WATER GUN again and it knocking the Houndour out right then and there! Zeref gave a slow nod before giving his new friend a high five. “Nicely done. “ Parsifal rolled his eyes as if the pup was saying ‘yeah right I could’ve done better’ but it instead something else seemed to have caught his attention!

The pup turned his head after hearing a call coming from a distance and it looked like it was that dog trainer from before! The pup smirked before prancing his way over to Kyle, rubbing up his pelt against him trying to keep him warm. Zeref mouth dropped at this sight. “Parsifal why do you hate me so much?” The Ranger cried and when he did, that was when the Kirlia decided to hug his trainer’s leg to try to comfort him. “Awww Lancelot your way nicer compared to Parsifal I felt so betrayed.” He moaned before shaking his head. “Hey it’s good to see yeah and that’s right!” Zeref bent down to wrap his arms around his two new comrades. “I just caught them recently. I would like you to meet Lancelot the Kirlia and Poseidon the Croconaw.”

Poseidon lifted up his chest while Lancelot tilted his head at this trainer wondering if this was the dog trainer Zeref was talking about before. On the other hand Malice finally decided to join the party by circling around Kyle giving him a friendly greeting. On the other hand Zeref would scratch his head before changing his happy go lucky tone of voice to a bit more of a serious one. “Have you seen a fire type Pokemon around these parks? I just took down a Houndour and I know darn well the Ice Path is home to ice type Pokemon. It couldn’t tell if it was a trainers Pokemon or not.” He asked hoping Kyle would know more about this strange mystery then he himself.

[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] He couldn't help but smile when his Misdreavous went over to greet him, more so when his Growlithe trotted over to rub himself against him. It prompted Kyle to squat down, running his hand on the Growlithe's thick coat by his neck, doubling as a means to warm himself and scratching Parsifal on those sensitive dog places. "I'll take you home if I could," he'd state audibly enough for Zeref to hear. As Zeref introduced his Pokemon, Kyle felt like it was necessary to get present his Pokemon as well. "Ah, I guess I haven't shown you Rhyhorn over there back then." He glanced back at his Rock-type, who stared curiously at Zeref as his trainer showed his familiarity with the male. The topic of Fire-type Pokemon intrigued Kyle. "Yeah, a Magmar. Dispatched it right away though." It hadn't occur to him at that moment that it certainly was out of place, but as he thought about it, he somehow got a gist of what had happened to the residents of the Ice Path. "The news did say that Ice-type 'mons migrated away from this place. I guess it's the Fire-types that chased them out." While they had been talking, a Ponyta approached them from one side, while a Slugma crawled from the other. "Speaking of which..." Kyle stood up, giving one last pat on the Growlithe's head before facing the Pokemon closer to him, which had been the Slugma. He gave a nod to his Rhyhorn, whose eyes were already on his trainer the moment Kyle stood up, as he motioned him to face the opposing Fire-type. The wild Pokemon around these parts had been no match for his Rhyhorn thankfully, with two of his types being effective against them both offensively and defensively. "We're not going near it this time. Stone Edge."As warm as its body in combating the cold was, Kyle did not want to take the risk of his Pokemon suffering burns should being in contact with the Slugma's body prove to be dangerous. Rhyhorn slammed his stubby front legs on the ground, forcing the ground to expel rocks with sharp edges to the Slugma. Their range made it hard to make a clear hit, but even with it, they managed to graze the wild Slugma with it. Stone Edge was still a powerful move nonetheless, that even a graze managed to take a toll on the Slugma's condition. A whole rock managed to sprout from the ground on the wild Pokemon's side, and while it had not been a direct hit, it still managed to flip the Slugma over with its intensity, forcing it to limp away afterwards after having been properly discourage. Zerefs cheeks kept growing bigger and bigger causing the male to turn his head with his arms crossed. “Whatever Parsifal I see how it is!” He murmured underneath his breath before hugging his two new comrades. “At least these two are nicer to me than you!” Oh goodness this is embarrassing why is Zeref hugging him? Poseidon tried to break free but on the other hand it seems as if Lancelot is enjoying this! The psychic type hugged him back while Zeref continued to complain once more. “Not even Malice cares about me!” He moaned while pointing his finger at Malice who is still playing detective on her own. “Not unless she is mad at me for not using her in that battle we’ve dealt with earlier. This is embarrassing.”

The Ranger shook his head before crossing his arms. “But anyways back on topic so you fought a Magmar earlier and it was all over the news? I wonder if the Ranger HQ is going to do anything about this. I’m going to ask them about it since I’m worried bout the fire types melting the Ice Path. I wouldn’t be surprised if the fire types scared the ice types away.” He sighed before looking down at his new comrades. “I can easily take down these fire types all by myself but I don’t want to underestimate them that much.” As much as he would like to continue this conversation it looks like another fire type Pokemon showed up.

“This is bad!” Zeref growled before looking down at Lancelot. “Alright Lancelot your up as promised. This should be a perfect match up for you!” Lancelot gave a slow nod before jumping right in front of her trainer however it looks as if the Ponyta decided to take the first move with FLAMEWHEEL a move Zeref knows far too well. “Let’s TELEPORT behind it quickly!” Zeref instructor! Lancelot gave a slow nod before teleporting right behind of the Ponyta! The Ponyta turned back to normal confused as fuck until Zeref called out once more. “CONFUSION!” Lancelot did exactly that landing a direct hit causing the Ponyta to skid backwards. Zeref gave a slow nod before calling another attack. “Quickly use DOUBLE TEAM!”

When the Ponyta was about to use QUICK ATTACK, Lancelot made multiple clones of herself causing the Ponyta to fade right through one of the fake ones. “DISARMING VOICE!” Lancelot gave a nod before shooting out a fairy type move known as DISARMING VOICE and landing another direct hit! The Ponyta shook it’s head before doing another FLAME WHEEL attack but this time it landed a direct hit. “Are you okay Lancelot?” The Ranger asked his Pokemon who jumped back up on his feet giving another nod. “Great TELEPORT then CONFUSION!” Seeing how he used it before means he’ll have to change up the fighting style so what she did was TELEPORT right underneath the Ponyta and used CONFUSION once more knocking the Ponyta out right then and there. “Nice job!” He said giving him a highfive. He Pokemon team is coming along and he felt like tearing up inside but he decided not to. He shook his head to keep it in before turning his head to Kyle. “We need to do something about this I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more fire type Pokemon around this area.”

Fire-types, as Zeref had predicted, which Kyle wasn't too surprised to see as well. He had seen them enough when he had been taking Route 45 as the route of choice whenever he'd went to Fusube, though to see them here as well was just getting annoying at this point. At the very least, they don't have to deal with Ground-types that his team struggles against. The Numel was pretty forgettable in terms of appearance, though the Vulpix brought a reaction out from him. "Ah, I remember catching one of these before," he'd blurt out randomly. "Mind if I take this one on?" he asked the ranger, a finger pointing to the six-tailed Fire-type. He wondered how the Pokemon did after all these time, but then again, he never really bonded with it, and so parting away with the said Vulpix wasn't that much of a dilemma for Kyle. "Let's see how it deals with Stone Edge."Using the same move over and over on the wild Pokemon has been repetitive, though he didn't have much incentive to change things up. It has been Rhyhorn's best move anyways, and using Bulldoze was rather risky in a cave. Without a question, Rhyhorn acted upon the command, showing its strength by getting rocks out of the way and cutting the frail Fire-type with the attack. The Vulpix let out a faint cry before dropping limp on the ground. "Maybe the Fire-types will move away once the enough trainers go here and hunt them to oblivion, I don't know." He'd respond to Zeref with a shrug. "They're one of the more popular types anyways." The remedy he had recommended wasn't well thought of if the idea behind it did not suggest it already. “That’s perfect!” Zeref said before turning around to see another wild Pokemon known as Numel ready to take on the action! The Ranger couldn’t help but smirk before turning his gaze over towards Malice. It’s time for her to catch up to Parsifal’s level so this would be a good training exercise for her that is if she would stop posing in a corner over there. “Malice get your ass over here your up!” The Ranger called out who his ghost friend and thank goodness the ghost was able to hear her trainers call! The ghost type flew over to him with her eyes sparkling causing Zeref to sigh underneath his breath. “I know I need to get you up to Parsifal’s level. Let’s have some fun and show our new comrades what you’re made of!”

This is great this is great she gets to show off her talent up against a Numel! The ghost spun around the Numel excited as fuck however the Numel was confused by her actions and honestly thought she was trying to attack it! So with that being said it tried to use FLAME BURST! The ghost giggled before floating higher into the air to dodge the attack. Then she appeared right behind it to use her favorite moves CONFUSE RAY and within a matter of seconds the Numel was confused! Oh joy Zeref knew exactly what she planned on doing. “Malice you’re going to scare our new comrades away!” The Ranger sighed while slapping his forehead as he watched the ghost type used PSYWAVE on the poor innocent fire type Pokemon. “I feel bad for the Numel now.” Zeref said while shaking his head. “Well at least she is having fun. And that’s what counts.” Zeref would twitch his eye when a powerful Lava Plume hit Malice. “Ouch that’s gotta hurt are you okay?”

Malice shook her head before growling underneath her breath causing Zeref and Lancelot to jump nearly ten feet into the air. “Oh dear.” Malice ended up using PSYCHIC throwing the Numel into a cliff then she would throw it again! It tried to use FLAME BURST but it hit itself instead causing the ghost to snicker as she continued spamming the move PSYCHIC! She would lift it up then slam it to one side and then to the other causing Zeref and his comrades to shiver at this intense sight. “Note to self never piss Malice off.” Finally after a few rounds of Whac-A-Mole, Malice flew over to her trainer with her eyes sparkling causing Zeref to scratch his head. “Great job I should’ve used you in our fight earlier so my bad.” He turned his gaze over to Kyle while giving a slow nod. “I guess that’s true. I’m going to talk to the Ranger HQ about this. Anyways I’m going to head out hit me up if you ever want to hangout or something.” Zeref said while waving his hand before running off with the rest of his team.
