Mission Title: Unforgiving Champion[break]
Mission Location: Route 44[break]
Mission Description:A Hitmonchan has been harassing trainers and Pokemon that travel on route 44 into challenging them. It's said the Hitmonchan is infuriated because of its release from its former trainer's team and is out to prove itself to be the 'champion' of the route. Defeat it using either your own physical prowess or one of your pokemon in a battle of brawn, meaning no move usage or abilities. Once defeated it will leave the route with the threat of one day returning to challenge you again. Cannot catch the Hitmonchan[break]
Mission Requirements: Open to all (bonus to fighters) / 6+ posts required(each) / 2+ Chars [break]
Mission Rewards: 1500 Pokedollars, (+500 if you're of the fighter class)/ Move Tutor Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, or Ice Punch if one of your pokemon has the ability to learn it in any capacity [break]

“Off to route 44 we are!” Sprider said cheerfully to his already-out-of-pokeball Machop. Sprider had the habit to keep his pokemon out of their shell and make them inhale the beauty of the nature. He believed they should be kept out of that small ball. He believes pokeball is just a small device to capture the pokemon but can never become a house to these wild beings. They were born in nature, and so they should be out of those electrical devices. He looked at his machop with excitement who looked back at Sprider, replicating the same expression. So he pulled out another Pokeball and rolled his Charmander out. The fiery little beast roared as soon as it was out. The pokemon trainer trio were on a voyage. The last time they went out together, they caught a torchic on the icy path. How fire pokemon were staying in that frozen place bewildered Sprider. It was then he remembered he had a third pokemon too which he had not used. It was just yesterday when he got one. Since healing it in the pokemon center, it has stayed inside only. How foolish of Sprider to forget there was a being laying trapped in a pokeball for almost over twenty four hours. He quickly reached for the third pokeball which he assumed was empty an hour back. He brought out the pokemon and said “Hello there, little chicken. I want to apologize for making you stay in there for so much time.” He scratched the back of his head with a sorrow face. He watched the little chicken move with it's small legs towards them and pecked him on the legs. Sprider jumped back in a frantic attempt. He was being attacked by his own pokemon. He shook his head as he said “I hope that is all punishment. Nothing more, right?” He watched the torchic move towards it again, but this time it just flapped its small hands. Sprider thought that they have come to good terms. He could only assume it so. He wanted to ask her why she was living in the icy path but he knew he could not get a proper answer from her. So he chose silence. He saw the Torchic and Charmander walking together. It was natural for the chick to feel safe with pokemon of same element. The four beings stopped on their track as a person called for them. He asked “What are you going ahead for?” Sprider replied “We are there to catch some pokemon.” he added “There is an infuriated hitmonchan that is challenging everyone to fight him. He wants to be the very best, like there ever was. So i would suggest you take a different path to the route after.” Sprider looked at his pokemon and then to the person. He said “Thank you sir, but i am sure my pokemon would like it.” He looked back at his pokemon, where Machop flexed his arms, the charmander’s tail flame grew brighter and the torchic.. will she was not interested. The man said “Well i warned you. Now it is upon you what choices you make in your life and where they lead you to.” Sprider was confused. The man went from warning him about the danger ahead to philosophical before you can say 'pokemon’. The man said “Best of luck” and walked towards the direction Sprider came from. Sprider said “We will take on this challenge! Right now!” With zest in their voice, each pokemon roared except torchic. Maybe she was not over Sprider keeping her in the ball for so long. Route 44; it was the fastest and most secure route to get back home for the amateur trainer. Natural that she would have taken the route to cross the distance, it was no surprise to see her walking along the barren road between the two cities. Having made the trip from Choji to Fusabe more than once, Tsubaki had memorized the many landmarks along the way, knowing just how much farther it would be until she arrived.

Nothing could have prepared her for the sudden road block however. There was a gathering of people, citizens and trainers alike, and they all seemed to gather around a specific focal point. Walking up to the group, she pushed past a few bodies until she came face to face with the fighting type pokemon.

Brows furrowed as her expression shifted into a puzzled look, unable to tell just why the pokemon was fighting a human. Was it a circus act? Were they simply putting on a show? It wasn't until the hitmonchan used low kick on the man that she figured out that was not the case. They were fighting for real, but the 'why' factor still stood in her mind.

"Why are they fighting?" she asked outloud, looking to her left, a muscular frame taking her field of vision.

"This Hitmonchan doesn't let people or pokemon cross unless they challenge him to a fight. Just one day it showed up and no one has been able to beat it."

Eyes widened in understanding, but her lips pursed in frustration. She had to cross the route to get home, and she had to train her pokemon. So perhaps she could solve two things at once. With a loud voice she raised her hand glancing at the Hitmonchan. "I'll challenge it!" she said, her voice overlapping with another behind her, unaware of just who else wanted to fight the fighting type pokemon.

Sprider told his team mates “Let us do it. We can do it. We are the best there ever was!” Again his charmander and mschoo cheered, but the torchic was unaffected by the positivity in the atmosphere. Sprider have heard someone also talking about taking the mankey down. He looked in the direction. It was difficult to find whose voice it was among the crowd but it was a girl’s voice. He asked “Is there another challenger? I mean it will be great to have two bodies against one. The more, the merrier.” He said with a bit of fun in his voice. He looked at the fight going on between the man and the hitmonchan. A fighting pokemon will be exceptional in a brawn fight, if it was not obvious from the scene there. Sprider have had enough. He shouted to the person who was up against the fighting pokemon “Come back before you are beaten more.” he did not put his attention to Sprider’s word and got hit by a strong punch by the pokemon in the lower jab, what most people would term as 'uppercut jab’. The man flew back a few meters onto a tree. He clattered against it very hard. Sprider feared he would be needing medical attention quickly. He ran towards the hitmonchan. Standing between the man and the pokemon with arms wide open, hands flinging to his sides he said, “Someone take that man away. Immediately. Get him to a hospital. While i need some help here.” He put so much emphasis on his last words to elucidate that he needed that girl who accepted the challenge. The hitmonchan created a crooked face as it looked at his new target. Sprider's pokemon had also followed him except the torchic, she stayed just a few meters from the crowd. The man was putting up a good fight in the beginning, but his stamina was nothing compared to that of a fighting pokemon. He grew tired, and sloppy, and ended up taking a punch right to the chin, sending him flying. Tsu covered her eyes, letting out a squeak as she could only imagine the pain. [break][break] A sudden voice in her direction caught her attention however, watching as the young man stepped up to the fighting type, however he planned on battling it with a pokemon. It was too strong and she planned on helping, pulling the pokeball from her hip to release the small pink ball known to her as Jigglypuff. [break][break] "Jigglypuff this is the perfect stage! That Hitmonchan want's to hear your song!" she said, encouraging the pokemon to sing. With a look of delight, she bounced between the fighting type and the new guy, her cheeks puffing out before her mouth opened and she let out a beautiful song. It was effective and immediately the fighting type fell asleep. [break][break] "There is your opportunity guy!" she said, addressing the young man next to her. "With him asleep we can beat him!" she said, hoping that the other man could get medical attention as needed. [break][break] Mika used Sing!

Sprider saw a red headed girl releasing her Jigglypuff. She sprouted a few words of encouragement from her mouth to sing a song to the Hitmonchan. She sang beautifully which made the fighting type pokemon fell asleep right there. This was a good tactic. He thought and looked behind him. No one had taken a step ahead to pick the man up. Sprider did it himself. He took the help of the flex man, his machop, to lift the person up who looked a bit of unconscious. He asked his fiery charmeleon to stay around the hitmonchan and inform if it wakes up quicker than expected. Sprider placed the injured man on the wild grass near the audience and shouted “Does anybody have water? Please help this man. We have to knock him back into conscious.” he looked around to see if anyone would help. He pulled his hands out of his back to notice that there were blood stains on his palms. It must be from the person’s back. Sprider quickly yet swiftly repositioned him so that his back faced the sky and its neck was cranked sideways. He asked “Also if i could get a long cloth, it will be helpful for this man.” Till someone can provide him the required items, he would put his palm on the wound and apply pressure to stop the bleeding and allow the blood to clot. The red energy surrounded him before pulling him inside. But that only lasted a second before the ball opened and released the still sleeping pokemon.

"Where is this pokemon's trainer?" she asked the crowd, hoping someone would answer, to which an elderly man stepped up. "He belonged to this passerby, but he released him on this route and the pokemon refuses to accept it."

"How awful" she said quietly, looking down at the fighting type, feeling sorry for it now. It was always a terrible thing when a trainer dictates that they don't want to keep a pokemon anymore. Its hard for the being to return to the wild life.

The girl who agreed to challenge the hitmonchan took out her socks and presented it to Sprider in an attempt to save the man’s life. Sprider took it quickly and wrapped it around the man’s chest, covering the wound. She looked emotional. As the situation was making her lose her mind. She asked if it would be easy to capture it and attempted a capture. The ball did absorb it, but rolled once and then put it out back. It meant only one thing. The pokemon already had a master. It was already a pokemon with a trainer who has his consent. The girl asked who was the pokemon’s trainer. Someone said that he was released on the route and never accepted again. It was terrifying on how some trainers treated his pokemon. He looked at his own pokemon with puppy eyes. He would never do such a cruel thing with his pokemon. He would watch a person provide his bottle of water to Sprider. He would take it and open the person’s mouth to let some water be ingested into the mouth. He would appeal to the people around “Can anyone help us please?” in a fearing tone as he looked at the hitmonchan. Sprider felt it would wake up any monent now.
