| With all the changes going on throughout the region it wasn’t a surprise a man with an insatiable curiosity such as one Doctor Valentine would have to go to various places to study these phenomenons. That was what today was about, field research to see the changes to this area. He had been to the Ice Path and examined the changes there which lead to some interesting results. The environment in of itself had begun to change just like the kinds of Pokémon that appeared there. If it could happen at the Ice Path then surely it could happen elsewhere. And because of this he was currently in Route 32 to record information on the current state of the area. Hopefully his findings here would be just as interesting as the Ice Path, and he could leave the area with some proof of it as well. The proof that he was speaking of was the Chimchar that was currently hanging from Cid’s shoulder, trying to grab at what his trainer was holding. Cid moved the papers, what he was holding, closer to the Chimchar having the Pokémon reach out for them before he pulled back and Nova over shot it and fell. ”Oh so close.” Cid laughed. The two of them enjoyed messing with each other like this and both took it well, the Chimchar gave the professor an annoyed smirk, already planning his revenge. The two were not alone and in fact were joined today by a fellow member of Team Virus and someone Cid had taken a liking to. Elaine Hightower had become somewhat of an aide/student of Cid’s. She assisted him in his work while he kept an eye on her and mentored her best he could. It was strange, he never imagined being in a situation like this when he joined Virus. ”Thanks for assisting me today. After we’re done here today there’s a nice place I want to treat you to.” Cid had finished setting up his station, ready to get today started. ”As I said before we’ll just be studying the changes to the Pokémon around here and seeing how they’ve been affecting the area. And in case they get a little feisty and ready to rock n’ rumble that’s what you’re here for.” The Doctor explained. ”Oh and don’t worry, I’ll be here have your back!” He said, flashing her a thumbs up and a smile. Nova was currently more interested in Elaine than exacting his revenge and if he wasn’t stopped he’d climb onto the girl and start examining her, mainly focusing on her hair. ”And it looks like Wu is volunteering to be your backup.” Cid laughed.       | |
