Bosco walked slowly down the path. At his side was Nidoran, or Ran-ran as he had started to call her. She was a spunky one, though she was rather small. Most of the time, her breed was docile, if it wasn't for the fact they were poisonous, they would be a great starter pokemon for a child. It didn't matter at this point however. She was smart and going to be strong. Within his pack rested the key to her evolution as well.

He had gotten one as part of his reward for helping a number of people cleaning up the tower that had been so badly damaged when team virus attacked. But for now, it was time to get his training in with Nidoran. While he did have a number of other pokemon with him, he was not going to break them out. No, there was no need. She was going to be enough, or he would simply escape with her for now. Smiling, he walked down the road, adjusting the straps upon his back as he walked.
"Let's see what we can find on this pathway there Ran-ran." He said, pleased by all this.

Sprider knew it was time for his little leafy turtle to come out of its comfort zone and fend off strong pokemon. Sprider picked the third pokeball from his pokebelt and pressed its button. The ball spew red laser out of it which transmuted into a turtwig pokemon. The green leafy turtle nodded his head as it took in fresh air. Sprider said “I plan to set all of the pokemon free when using them. So breathe all you want. We are on this route numbered.. 44 and we go training okay?” The little pokemon nodded his head and started following Sprider with its small legs. Of course that made his speed slow and so Sprider walked at a slower speed to stay close to the pokemon. Sprider would walk on the path looking around to see if a pokemon would poke out of a bush, or maybe jump from the sky above or dig out from the ground below. There were endless possibilities on how he was destined to meet a pokemon. He prayed he does not encounter a fire pokemon, because those are strong against his grass type pokemon. He would walk a few more steps to see a person standing with his nidoran. He said “Hullo?” In an attempt to strike a conversation. Bosco snapped out of his pondering when the other trainer had arrived. He shook his head once to clear the cob webs and smiled at him. "Hello there! Sorry, I was just planning out a few things for training. How are you? I'm Bosco." He said, offering his hand out to the other trainer. Now that he was back in the land of reality, it was clearly a lot easier to focus on people and not his daydreams. Ran-ran moved quickly around their feet. The small pokemon was scampering in a way to try to bring attention to the pokemon that were just arriving. While it was not freezing cold out here, it was chilly, and with that cold air, ice type pokemon had arrived.
A Snorunt and a Smoochum. Neither pokemon where what he was after, so it was perhaps time to see what Ran-ran could do. Bosco pointed at Snorunt, who seemed startled by the fact that Nidoran was even stepping up to bat, so to speak. "Double kick!" Bosco called out, the small pokemon leaping up and slamming two hard kicks into the Snorunt, sending it backwards several feet, clearly surprised by the attack of the smaller pokemon. When it got onto it's feet, it would shift around quickly, trying to confuse it's foes with the ability Double Team. Bosco could still follow it, but only just barely. His eyes narrowed as he waited for the right moment.
"Ran-ran..." He said, raising up his hand slightly. Her ears perked slightly, she tried to focus. "Double kick to the... Right!" He called out, pointing, and she jumped up, once more slamming twin kicks into the enemy pokemon and sending it tumbling backwards once more. Pulling itself to it's feet, the pokemon shifted and took off, not wanting any more of the abuse it was currently facing off against. Bosco smiled some, nodding to Ran-ran before giving her a treat. The small pokemon happily laid down to rest a moment and eat the treat while her trainer went to see what was happening with the other trainer.

The person was planning something for his pokemon training. That's what Sprider heard. When asked about how he was, he simply replied “I am a fine being, but my pokemon is not.” He looked at the leafy turtle which wanted to tackle someone. Sprider said “It has a nick of battling, as far as i know since i have captured it.’ he remembered it was one day before only when he caught that little turtle. Breaking their peace were two pokemon. One looked like a small ball with a glider around it, the second one a female girl. Sprider pulled out his pokedex and scanned the girly pokemon. The pokedex said “Smoochum, Kiss pokemon. Its lips are the most sensitive part of the body and is the body part through which it examines things. It also licks the dirt off its lips.” Sprider shook his head. Wow. He said “I am gonna take this down. You ready turtle?” Sprider exchanged glances with his pokemon. It nodded his head and took a few steps ahead. The pink colored pokemon came towards the green colored with its lips pouted. It wanted to examine the leafy turtle and the only was was the lips. Sprider said “Stay away from her kiss. Dive, jump, evade. Do whatever you want but stay away from her lips. Also tackle her as soon as you get the chance.” The turtle waved his leaf and waited for her to make a move. She came running towards Sprider’s turtwig with her lips ready to take him into her. The turtwig quickly jumped just above it and then came crashing down on her. He slumped on her and she could not shake off the heavy weight. Her lips ate dirt while he stood on her. She was locked underneath him and it was the turtwig’s chance. He hopped in the air and then tackled her again. Lying on the ground she did not have much to do. The weight was knocking her down. Sprider said “Again Turtwig!” Tackle her and end this for once and for all.” Turtwig nodded his head and jumped on her again. This time on her head. It had a strong impact which led to her being knocked out. Sprider said “come back little turtwig! Bosco watched as Ran-ran wrapped it up, and then watched the other trainer work. Ran-ran slipped into the high grasses, smelling some near by seeds and wanting to get them while her trainer was busy watching the other trainer. Bosco smiled a bit, watching how the turtwig was moving about. "You have yourself a strong little guy huh? Hopefully he learns some more moves beyond tackle. Being a grass type, I'd say a good razor leaf or the like would do the little one some serious wonders." He said, smiling a bit as he looked around. He could see the grass moving in a way that made him wonder, only to realize that it was Ran-Ran, rooting around for something to nibble on. Oh, the sweet little thing. The ice cracked near by, and up popped a Spheal, looking around for a moment.
"Oh, and it appears we have more friends on the way. Ran-ran!" He called out, the small poison pin pokemon jumping back out to defend her trainer. She still had a few small seeds on her face as well from her hunting, but at this point, he didn't really mind. Now it was time to figure out what attack pattern her wanted to use for this. She was still new, and he was getting used to her style and wants when it came to how to did battle. While she didn't have the highest level of raw power, not like Dilla did at her level, but he did have a number of ideas for now. "Let's start off with growl, to lower it's ability to harm you." He called out, his arms behind his back as the pokemon followed his commands.
The Spheal seemed to be shaken slightly, curling up into a ball to help defend it's body a bit more. Bosco looked at the pokemon and then figured it was time to go balls to the wall at least. "Ran-ran, use double kick." Ran-ran darted up, faster than the Spheal, and leap into the air, spinning around and landing a pair of strong kicks that knocked the spheal onto it's back. It made a wailing noise as it rolled back over, seeming dazed and annoyed by the powerful strikes. It moved to a roughly upright position, and then fired off a water gun, knocking the Nidoran down for a moment before she hopped back up, while wet, not really injured. She shook herself and then charged once more, hitting the Spheal with a double kick once more. The second set of kicks knocked it into the water once more, and when it didn't resurface, Bosco figured it had run off, offering Ran-ran a small treat. "Good girl"

The other trainer commented about his turtwig being strong. He also added that razor leaf might be a good addition to his set of moves once he was big enough to learn it. The little pokemon had a lot to see. Before they could complete a proper hug, two Pokemon came out of their hiding. One was after the nidoran of the other trainer. The other pokemon with brown coat grunted at the turtwig. Sprider pulled out a pokedex and scanned the pokemon. The pokedex called out “Swinub, the pig pokemon. A mixture of ice and ground, the pokemon can reduce the damage it takes from fire and ice type by half. It also rub its nose on the ground to smell food and dig it up for himself.” Sprider closed the dex and said “Turtwig, can you do it?” The pokemon nodded his head and charged into the battle. It went straight to tackle it down. Sprider said “stay carefully, evade any moves at you.” the pokemon in front opened his mouth and then sent forth a gust of ice forward at Sprider's beloved turtwig. He shouted “Evade” but the pokemon was slower. Since the turtwig was close, the ice attack hit him sharply, but the leafy boy still walled through it to tackle it. Slowly turtwig’s fur was coated with a layer of ice. It froze in place. Sprider could just stand in surprise. He had to do something. He pulled a pokeball and threw it at the turtwig to save it from further harm. Sprider knew he had to catch the swinub. He threw a pebble at the pig pokemon. "Hey! Well done and well caught. I was worried I might have to step in." He said, rubbing Nidoran's head and smiling a bit. She was doing well, very well in fact. Bosco looked up to see there was storm on it's way. That was odd. For the most part, it was supposed to be clear all day. How strange... Wait... Ahh, there it was. A Snover. Those little guys tended to be serious about making it snow and keeping it a frozen landscape. Which in and of itself is odd. The pokemon was a grass and ice type according to his own pokedex. He shrugged slightly, motioning for Ran-Ran to prepare herself for her final battle for now.
"When it gets close, do as you have been. Rush in with a double kick. Don't give it time to react." He said, the small pokemon rushing into position. The hail storm started a few seconds later, the Snover stepping out and snorting at them. "Sup dude. I guess you are here because you heard the fighting." He called out, the Snover looking at him, as if trying to understand what was going on. Then Ran-Ran pounced. She dove from the tall grass, slamming a hard set of double kicks into the side of the pokemon and landing quickly, her eyes narrowed and focused. Good. She was steady and ready.
In a way, he was glad he had not found any pokemon that really knew move sets that would be overly dangerous to his small pokemon. It fired off a razor leaf, Ran-ran dove around it, the ice edged leaves digging into the ground before she rammed into the larger pokemon with a hard shoulder tackle. She sent it backwards several feet, causing it to roll and then right itself. There was a growling noise that escaped it's mouth before it's eyes opened wide, causing Ran-Ran to hesitate for a moment. Ahh, the power of leer. She was a smaller pokemon was frail in some aspects, but in others, she could take a lot of hits. Once more launching off with a double kick, she knocked the small pokemon back into the grass, the storm seeming to follow it as it took off and headed towards the hills, far away from here for now.
"Well, I think it is time to let you..." He started, the small pokemon walking to him and sitting down, getting her treat and chewing it up. "Get some rest and a treat. Look at you, only with me a few days and we have the routine down."
