Altairs movement was swift as his clean shoes met his pikes peddles once more. This time he had nothing stopping him. He had finally been given his own pokemon from the professor! Every kids dream was to receive one of these... Pets? Although Altair thought of them more as bonding partners, and less as tools to suit his own needs. It was fair to say Altair was a picky child, his telepathy allowed him to better connect with his pokemon, on the terms that he better understood the pokemons nature. His first pokemon was a Ralts he had taken the liberality of call Atem, after a ancient prince of some sorts he had heart about within one of his mothers history books. A fellow medium and powerful one at that, whom had taken over his original homeland by force. Although Altair looked up to him, his abilities would no longer be useful in this day and age. Altair's thoughts about his pokemon journey would echo within his head as his bike sped down a more civilized path from his hometown. His bike tore across the landscape and beyond his original bounds until he finally reached his desired location. He had finally made it to Asagi Town. The town he had heard for years had the most beautiful view, not to mention the claims of having indispensable pokemon that could become great partners in the future. Altair seemed to be drawn to this area as he cracked his neck in excitement "Yes finally! I've been at home so long it seemed like I'd never get the chance to come here" Altair said with pure excitement before his thumb met the underside of his chin, and his index finger began to rub his chin. 'Alrighty, well I received six pokeballs from professor, and I have my psychic pokemon...' Altair thought to himself as he biked towards route forty his speed faster than before. Once he made it to his destination Altair's crimson eyes would scan the grassy landscape 'I wonder if I could pair up with someone? I'd prefer have some sort of assistance since this will be my first official battle' Altair thought to himself as he let out a sigh. His inder finger would tap the pokeball latched to his belt. It had released Atem, Altair's Ralts from it's pokeball. With a smile Atair looked towards Atem "Alright we have some word to do within this tall grass. I dare not lie to you my friend, but we may have to deal with some pokemon I don't want" Altair said kneeling down and patting Atem "I hate to put this burden upon you partner, but unfortunately we have no other choice, we need to get powerful somehow and capturing some friends is the best way" Altair said with a calm smile standing once more and stretching out his arms. Without another word Altair slowly walked through the tall grass as he did he began to hear the screeching of a bike coming towards him. Looking to his right from Asagi town he saw a boy hauling from the town with a determined look upon his face "What the heck?" Altair muttered as Atem looked towards him as well. Sprider sulked on the bed. “i do not want to go.” His Charmander said “char char.. char char..” Sprider said “No Charmander. Sleep is not for the weak. It is for the weekends and today is Sunday.” Sprider cranked his neck and looked at his fiery salamander. He added “Shall i put you back in the ball?” The Charmander jumped and swung its tail abruptly in a fit, saying “charrrrrrrrr..” Sprider interrupted him “Okay okay. Do not burn this house down. Okay? We are going.” The little Charmander started rotating at the same place. He did so always whenever he could get something out of Sprider. Sprider could not hide his grin. He loved his starter. His cute little charmander was going to be the best one day.
He combed his hair and then combed Charmander's bald head. He was crazy but if his Pokemon liked it, he would do it. His pokemon were the love of his life. And if that means he has to cross seven seas to save them. He will. The little Charmander felt happy as the comb sticks grazed his head. He liked it and asked for another swipe. Sprider did so. The little pokemon danced around once they both were ready.
The Charmander was naive but jolly. It liked adventures and wild pokemon hunt was always his favorite. It preferred it over everything and anything else. Sprider had promised him that they would always go out on sundays, but doing it in the morning itself was a tedious job. Sprider looked at his Charmander again with puppy eyes hoping he would be let to rest. But he did not buy it.
Sprider biked through the roads of the Goldenrod city. The massive city where roads look like criss cross of pipelines. He always took a new route. It has not been much days since he had started the pokemon adventure. All he wanted was to catch a lot of Pokemon and create their army and let them have fun. But it was a long time till he can have that. He wished to open a shop at later stage of his life, selling pokemon goodies. His mind was full of thoughts that he did not realize he was going downhill. His pedals suddenly paced up which brought him back to the reality. He stopped his bike and tied the helmet to its brakes. He saw a person in front of him. Sprider said “Yo. Do not tread in those talls grass without safety…” it was then when his eyes caught the glance of the ralts. Sprider remembered knocking down a pokemon like that.
Sprider's brown eyes exchanged glances with the person's crimson eyes. He said “Oh you have one. Well i was being a bit too protective here. Haha. Sorrym my bad.” He scratched the back of his head and said “So how strong is this? Want to spar with my charmander.” That's when it suddenly hit him.
Charmander had been inside the pokeball for too long. Sprider quickly pulled the ball out and pushed the button. A red laser produced a red charmander which looked at Sprider with anger. Neither he, nor his pokemon liked being inside a ball. They were born in the wild so it was better for them to interact with the nature than a ball with unknown to function.

Altair was at a sudden loss of words as the bike beamed down the hill, Altair himself would have found it nearly impossible to stop the bike, however the man who had abruptly came with haste seemed to do so with ease. Cloaked in black the man with the combed hair and brown eyes began to speak. He said it was dangerous to track these wild grasses alone, he must not have observed the confident Ralts that stood beside Altair, unlike Atem's normal posture he was behind Altair's leg clenching to his pant leg in what seemed to be fear. The speed the man had came at must have frightened the smaller pokemon as Altairs hand moved downwards petting the pokemon to try and give it some comfort.
The man was point blank and towards the point, however Altair saw a sense of confidence in his eyes, and for some reason it seemed to intimidate even Atem the ralts that stood being Altair. That was when the man who had just arrived realized his pokemon was still imprisoned within his spherical prison. Although it was cruel Altair understood the need to make it to an area with post haste. ALtair let out a sigh as the charmander came from the pokeball. 'Oh?' Altair thought to himself analyzing the situation 'Atem looks like he'd be a grass type pokemon, but unfortunately the pokemon Altair would use would never be at a disadvantage to another trainers pokemon. Although the advantage wasn't set Altair found it difficult to accept "A-Actually I didn't come here to have my pokemon get beat up" Altair spoke in a calm but timid tone "However, I might be willing to accept your challenge if you.. I don't know were willing to help me find a pokemon that suits my fancy" Altair said as his left hand stayed planted on Atem's head.
"I'm looking for a metal type pokemon to add to my team, currently I only have this Ralts whose name is Atem, but I'd like to have a full party before I challenge my first gym." Altair said with a prideful tone staring the man in the eyes "My name is Altair Minx, I'm a rookie trainer, but with a little practice I'm sure I can match up to you rather quickly" Altair added. He wanted to assure the man knew who he was. It wasn't a power play, more or less a new greeting Altair hadn't tried before. "So what do you say, are you interested in catching a few pokemon with me? I mean it can't be the worst thing to try" Altair said with a more persuasive tone. He didn't want to disrespect the man, however he was more interested in catching new pokemon than trying to battle to see who was the strongest. Honestly it was beneath him to act agressively off the bat, even if it was a friendly bout he wasn't too interested. His goal was set in stone. He wanted to become a pokemon master, and that starts with knowing your boundaries.

Maybe he felt intimidated. Sprider thought. His workds were obviously oblique. The person told that his pokemon was a grass one and making them fight would give Sprider's the elemental advantage. Then he proposed an offer to help him find a Pokemon for him, suitable to add to his team.
The person added that he needed to add a metal pokemon to his current team which only composed of him and and his little Ralts named Atem. He introduced himself as Altair Minx. A quite unique name, he must admit. He called himself a rookie to which Sprider replied "Rookie is just a word for inexperienced boy! I know you can do it." The boy was already confident but Sprider put in some more.
Sprider nodded his head and said "Well i obviously do not mind. It is fun to tag along people. I am sorry to have startled you with my fight proposal. Also what a bad way to introduce oneself. I am Sprider Hawk, from the goldenrod city." His town was a bit persuasive and Sprider had no intention to say no to him.
Sprider would have asked about Altair's home town but they were disturbed. Disturbed by two magnetic pokemon Sprider would be startled. He had not seen them before so he did the usual.
Pulling out his pokedex from his pokebag, he let the dex scan one of them. The pokedex said "Magnemite, the magnet pokemon. Its strong magnetic force can pull heavy objects. The pokemon must be kept away from devices.. or.." the pokedex stopped midway. Sprider mumbled "Or what? They will stop working? Wow. What a way to inform that." He rolled his eyes and said "Charmander, do you want to take it down?"
The little fiery salamander was a bit quirky about not pulling him out as soon as Sprider got off the bike, but he was the one who wanted to have the adventure. So he nodded his had and swung his tail to inform that he was ready for some serious action.
Sprider said "Okay then buddy! Go flamethrower on it and evade any attack." He nodded his head and charged towards one of the two Magnemite which was floating before but were lying on the ground now. The Charmander reached it with quick pace and then spew flame out of his mouth, so fiercely that it actually burnt a piece of its metal skin. Sprider was sure that it would have inflicted a burn status on it. The pokemon used Super Sonic. Its attack broke the sound barrier and hit the fiery salamander. The pokemon endured it with ease. The burnt had such a strong effect that the magnemite fainted just after it attacked.
Sprider bent down on his knees to hug his little Charamander. He caressed his head and said "Great work Charamander."

At first when they had met Altair wasn't expecting much from the man dressed in black. Altair didn't think it was smart to just talk to strange trainers, however there was something about Sprider that made him oddly enough approachable. It didn't seem like a power struggle to converse which is why it was easy for Altair to keep his company. Sprider's first words to Altair were that Rookie just means inexperienced, while a fairly plain comment he hadn't had the lease sarcasm within his voice. It made it oddly enough believe-able, and so Altair only really managed to speak slight sentences to respond to that "Y-Yeah" Altair spoke in a timid tone now.
Altair had a small smile plastered on his lips now. It was small, however fairly visible as Sprider spoke once more. He was a fairly civil person, however it seemed he was excited to have met someone who trained pokemon. It must not have been a common occurrence or something along those lines. "Lets be honest haha, I would love to battle" Altair would have spoken calmly "But as it stand I don't want to hurt my pokemon with an intense battle right now, oh and I hail from-huh?" Altair spoke in a proud but kind tone to keep the mood up, however towards the end of his introduction suddenly the sound of static began to welt in his ears. Following Spriders actions Altair withdrew his pokedex with a smirk 'Alrighty then let have a battle' Altair thought turning around with his pokedex exposed, within seconds his pokedex would mimic that of which Spriders had 'Still good to have it in my pokedex as well' Altair thought to himself as the data appeared.
Slipping his closed pokedex into his pocket Altair smirked. "Alright Atem we will be battling one of these pokemon" Altair said cracking his knuckles slowly. "Use Confusion" Altair said pointing towards the pokemon. Within seconds the pokemon was pushed to the ground as static welted up from the pokemon. It slowly and weakly began to float up once more 'Hmm, seems like a double typing... Maybe metal and electricity typing?' Altair thought as the pokemon made it's move, however the silly pokemon chose to use Super Sonic in an attempt to confuse Atem. Altair laughed as Atem gave a confused face towards the magnet looking pokemon "Sorry bud wont work, but Atem use Confusion once more" Altair said pointing towards the magnemite as the pokemon hit the ground with a thud.
Atem had knocked the pokemon out as Altair's hand would rub it's head "Well it was a decent experience, but I didn't want this pokemon." Altair spoke calmly to Atem as he looked towards Sprider with a smile as he gave his pokemon attention "Sprider I hate to say this, but these pokemon weren't the ones I was looking for... Would you mind accompanying me once more? I'd love your company, oh yeah and I'm from Yoshino town" Altair said with a calm tone as they encountered....
