in the palm of your hands [attr="class","newbg5"] It’s hard to believe months have passed by ever since he stepped foot outside the Madatsubomi Tower. It made him wonder why he never returned to this place to help rebuild the tower. Perhaps it’s because his life went into a quick turn or maybe he was just distracted. Either way the Ranger knew darn well he should’ve stayed behind to help rebuild the tower. At least he is here to fix his mistake and do whatever he can to help out. He called out all of his Pokémon to help out with the repairs however if you look closely you would see Ace the Honedge attached to Zeref’s belt.It looks as if the sword like Pokémon was sleeping peacefully not even realizing he was supposed to help out with the repairs. [break] [break] “Ace wake up buddy we need to help out with the repairs.” Zeref sighed while shaking his hip a little to wake up his new partner in crime but it doesn’t seem like it was working. “It looks like I have no choice but to go with plan B!” The Ranger took a deep breath before whistling to catch his Pokémon’s attention. “Don’t you want to see how beautiful Malice looks in action? If you help out she might give you some respect points. Don’t you want to grab her attention?”[break] [break] Well that sure hit the spot once Zeref mentioned the secret code word the ghost type flew out of its patch! All you could see was his one eye turn to hearts as it flew off to help out with the repairs. Zeref snickered as he watch Malice turn her head to ignore the Honedge before floating over to Parsifal causing the Honedge to gasp at this sight. Poseidon walked over to pet the sword just like he used to do when he was a Croconaw.  Ania's life certainly was a busy one. Not only was she a gym leader that had to tend to all of the responsibilities that came along with the position, she was also the sole surviving member of the Gentle family. Her family had tended to the now ruined tower for generations, and she was hardly about to let that tradition slip just because a bunch of irresponsible trainer and violent terrorists allowed her family's heritage to crumble to the ground. If anything the recent events only fortified the woman, being suddenly thrust into the spotlight lighting a spark in the woman. The younger sister content to work in the background and support her community was no the face of Madatsubomi Tower.
The woman approached the ruined tower in her usual fashion, wearing a dress that reached down to her ankles with a long slit that reached up to her mid thigh. Golden hoops swayed as she turned her head to survey the area, the woman standing effortlessly atop a pile of rubble despite her high heeled shoes. A hand rested on her hip, what looked like a charm bracelet with a few shrunken pokeballs dangling from it hanging on her wrist. Her gaze was harsh as she watched the workers go about their business clearing debris while trying to find what usable materials they could salvage fromt he destruction. "You! Yes you over there! Quit your chatter and get to work!" An arm extended to point to a a pair of workers that had slowed their labor to engage in conversation, the pair visibly jumping as she barked at them and scrambling to get back to work. It was pretty clear that she was the one calling the shots around here.
Irritable gaze dropped down to the young ranger as he approached, brows knitting together as she looked him over with a judging gaze. She had no time for anyone who wouldn't prove useful, but he seemed to have quite the team following behind him. Still she didn't look to be impressed, her gaze quickly jumping between his pokemon before eventually falling on the trainer himself, a delicate finger moving to rest on her temple as she let out a soft sigh. "Your interest is appreciated, but your rudeness is not. Is it not obvious that I am busy? You didn't even give a proper introduction. Honestly. Do you not know who I am?"
The moment of judgement was cut short as a scream could be heard in the distance, a group of workers running toward the gym leader with panicked expressions. "Madam Gentle! W-we've been attacked! Wild Pokemon!" Ania simply frowned at their disjointed words, her lids drooping slightly as she looked at the men in disapproval. Her eyes then traveled upward toward where the man had come from, lips pressing into a flat line. "With me, boy. It seems I have a job for you after all." The woman gave the men a dismissive wave as she effortlessly stepped down from the mound of rubble, confident steps leading her toward the source of trouble. She didn't bother waiting for Zeref, her eyes intently focused on the task at hand.

In the end the Ranger wasn’t certain and yet all he could give was a nervous chuckle at this sight heck even Poseidon joined in on that. Sometimes these two are in perfect synch without them even realizing it how creepy is that? “My bad.” Her attitude wasn’t a huge shock for the Ranger from what he could tell it looks like everyone around him were busy helping out with the repairs. However something seemed to have caught Zeref’s attention and that was the last part of her sentence. Does he know who she is? [break][break] The Ranger crossed his arms at this wondering whom the fuck this woman could be. She must be important if she saying it like that and the fact she’s helping out the tower means this place seems very important to her. With those terms in mind the Ranger would look up at her before giving a slow nod. “Let me guess you're the current gym leader of Kikyo City correct? My apologize for interrupting you I hope you forgive me for that. My name is Zeref Sanders it's nice to meet you.” He would take a deep breath to calm his nerves but he could tell his Pokemon were staring directly into his soul since they weren’t used to seeing the Rangers serious side that much. His aura changed must’ve spooked them a bit other than Poseidon and Parsifal of course so the Ranger couldn’t help but to give them a slow nod to let them know everything is all right. [break][break] In all honesty, this is his first time speaking to a gym leader face to face. When he was a kid he was too nervous talking to them in person since they seemed so busy so the fact he’s talking to one now is making his heart pound in a matter of seconds. However it made him wonder more about what that Thomas guy mentioned about the league keeping this information away from them especially when it came to the virus thing. Should he ask her about that or should she not? The Ranger shook his head to answer his own thoughts. It’s just best to leave it at that since this isn’t the time or place to ask questions about the past. [break][break] Anyways it looks like she actually has a task for him causing the Ranger to stand up straight while giving a slow nod before chasing after her. The moment he did he couldn’t help but to notice wild Pokemon attacking the camp sight and the instant he did he took action right away. “Ace use SWORD DANCE than follow up with PURSUIT!” It was the Honedge time and it was ready to show off its skills to the beautiful Misdreavus! After the swords disappeared from above giving the Honedge an attack boost, the sword rushed forward at full speed slashing the Gastly with all his might knocking it out in seconds! [break][break] Ace floated back over to Zeref causing the Ranger to give him a slow nod of approval. “As expected from you nicely done.” Ace nodded before turning his attention over to his beloved however the ghost type gave him a cold turn to the side causing the sword like creature to reattach itself to Zeref’s belt to weep. “Don’t give up buddy that was a easy one. I think she’ll like it better if you try to protect her from danger or something like that think of it like this. You're the prince and she’s the princess and your duty is to protect her.” Oh now that makes sense that will defiantly give off some points! The Honedge nodded while Zeref turned hi attention back over to the crewmembers. “Done we just have one more left.” He would’ve taken that one out if he needed to but he couldn’t help but to turn his gaze over to the gym leader wondering what she plans on doing against that Skitty. The hints of irritation on the woman's face grew as she made her way to the scene of the incident, his reaction to her words still lingering on her mind. The fact that he laughed in response to her words did the young man no favors in her mind. She didn't even pay mind to his apology, instead focusing on the task at hand. She moved effortlessly across the rubble as she briskly walked to the location of the issue. She paid little mind to the workers fleeing the scene, though it wasn't due to disapproval. She was well aware that even the toughest person out there had every right to be afraid of a belligerent pokemon. Though it was a bit of a surprise when she saw what was the source of the chaos. Her steps came to a sudden stop as she laid eyes on the troublemaking pair, especially the strangely aggressive skitty. The small feline's fur was standing on end, it's narrow eyes twisted into a glare as it waved around the crowbar it held in it's mouth. It was likely that the small cat had made a home in the rubble that had been disturbed by one of the people trying to clean the area up. As adorable as it normally would have been the gym leader was lacking in the patience required to see the humor in the situation. While the ranger dealt with the gastly Ania would reach up to her bracelet and detach one of the spheres, pressing the button causing it to grow to it's full size. She would lob it out in an underhanded toss, her movements noticeably lacking any form of excitement or energy. "Extrasensory." Immediately upon emerging from the light of the pokeball the budew that appeared would tilt it's body forward, pointing the bud on top of her head at the skitty. With a joyful cheer the small grass type would unleash a strange beam of multicolored light lined with rings. As the beam struck the pink pokemon the rings would encase the pokemon's body and start to lift it into the air. The skitty would suddenly start to panic, dropping the crowbar as it struggled to fight it's way free of the rings. The rings then dragged the pokemon downward, slamming in into the ground. The moment the attack completed Ciren would bounce happily over to the skitty, curious to investigate her opponent. Yet the pokemon wasn't finished, the skitty quickly emerging from the rubble and ramming her head into the budew's body. Unfortunately that attack would be the feline's undoing, the tiny poisonous spikes that stuck out from around the pokemon's bud poking into the skitty's skin and poisoning it. The poisons quickly took hold, causing the wild pokemon to stumble and fall to the ground unconscious. Ania would let out an irritated sigh, turning to look at one of the onlooking workers. "Don't just stand there! Get these pokemon to the center. They are to be returned to their natural environments, somewhere far away from here."With that taken care of Ania would look over to Zeref, who had at least proven his competence as a trainer. Somewhat. The gym leader took a few steps closer to the young man, judging eyes looking him up and down as her hand moved to rest on her hip once more. "Don't drop your guard. Once they're disturbed the local pokemon aren't just going to let us work in peace. Your job is to help me clear the place out." The dark haired woman would turn away from Zeref, focusing on the direction where the wild pokemon once stood before continuing. "By the way, you were correct before. So he was a bodyguard, was he? Not quite what she expected from what appeared to be a rather flighty young man. Of course anyone could claim that they never dropped their guard. The question was could he back up this claim? Ania watched him with a curious expression, lids drooping slightly as her head tilted upward slightly to watch him down the bridge of her nose. A good bodyguard could actually prove useful, considering Virus had made a show of abducting League representatives in the past. While she wouldn't go so far as to say that she would be a prime target for such an operation it was still good to keep safety in mind. The first thing of note was how he seemed to have trained his pokemon. The growlithe seemed to be the team leader, which was a good choice. Growlithe were known for the intimate bonds they forged with their trainer, which would mean he could likely determine his owner's wishes without a word being spoken. The way that his entire team seemed to suddenly stand at the ready at a moment's notice was commendable, she had to admit. Yet it would take more than having well disciplined pokemon to impress her. She watched in silence as the pokemon all spread out, a finger moving to rest softly on her cheek as she let out a gentle hum. While the taillow managed to avoid the spore, it still drew close enough for a counter attack. The same beam of rings that attacked the skitty would fire out from the pokemon's bulb aimed directly at the tailow. The rings would trap the target and slam him into the ground, catching the bird by surprise. With the opponent grounded Ania would finally relax, her shoulders dropping as she took in a deep breath. Even Ciren should be fine now that the ambush had been thwarted, they just needed to clean up the mess. The bird would scramble to his feet, charging forward beak firs to peck at his opponent. "You can do it Ciren. Use Extrasensory again."The bud winced in pain at the hail of pecks being rained down upon it, the bird's beak easily piercing her leafy body for serious damage. Yet she would manage to swing the bulb atop her head to push the pokemon off, hitting it with another extrasensory beam. This time the taillow would stay down and Ciren would come bounding toward her trainer, tears starting to well up in her eyes as she huddled next to Ania. The gym leader would bend her kneeds to crouch down beside her injured pokemon, softly stroking her bud as she gave her a warm smile. "You're doing good. Just a little bit more and we can go home for the day, alright?" It was amazing to see her grass type Pokemon being able to take on a flying type like that especially when the flying type is super effective against grass type Pokemon. It goes to show type advantage doesn’t truly matter in a fight it depends on the trainer and how well they raise their Pokemon to handle their own type advantage. Zeref knows for certain he needs to work on that as well but for the time being he needs to take it nice and easy or else his brain will explode. [break][break] On the other hand it seems as if the rest of his Pokemon are doing fine. So far Lancelot and Poseidon haven’t noticed anything unusual on their end while Chomper and Ace are patiently waiting for their trainers commands. Chomper was keeping an eye on the rest of the Pokemon monitoring on how they handle the situation without Zeref’s knowledge. Since the dinosaur is so used to being by his trainers side, he finds this quite interesting to be honest. Maybe one day once he becomes big and strong he’ll be just like them it’ll be great! [break][break] Meanwhile back in Parsifal’s world the pup was making his rounds sniffing the air and perking up his ears for anything that catches his interest. As the pup made his way around the tower was the moment his ears perked up. A Starly was causing a huge commotion and it looks like it’s time for Parsifal to redeem himself. Ever since that mission awhile back it made him extremely bossy. Now that everything seemed to have calmed down and the pup is in his normal state, it looks like it’s about time he catches up with the gang! If only it were that easy the bird was a stubborn one to be exact and it looks weaker compared to Parsifal. The pup was surprised to see the bird try to come at him with a QUICK ATTACK how lame. Parsifal decided to take the hit and right when the bird thought they landed a good hit, Parsifal lifted up his jaw to use FIRE FANG right on the bird landing a direct hit and knocking it out cold ouch.
