“Hey little buddy. Check it out...” He said, pointing to the pidgey on the water front. A smile was upon his face as he leaded down. “Dilla, slip into the water, and sneak up, nice and slow. Take your time, don't rush. When I call out, the pidgey will probably look at me, when it does, hit it with the attack that I call out, ok?” He asked, looking at the pokemon who pondered for a moment, then nodded. The advantage of a water type was simply that they were more at home when striking from water.

It only took him a few moments to swim towards the pokemon, but then he seemed to slow way down, only his eyes and nose above water, and even then, it was only by a few inches. To most, he would be fully hidden, made out to seem like nothing more than a floating bit of flotsam, or trash on the waters. While most people did their very best to keep the waters around here clear, sometimes, thing did end up in the water. Thus was the nature of life and all that.

With Dilla nearly at the pidgey, Bosco would stand fully up and call out. “Dilla! Use Ice Fang!” He shouted, causing the bird to look over at him. He could see the tiny bird looking at him, as if searching for the pokemon that would be the one to attack it, and even seem slightly confused at the lack of one. Then it happened. Totodile burst from the water like a shot, lunging at the Pidgey with it's mouth wide open, teeth seeming to almost have a mist around them while they coated themselves in frost. The bird had only a moment to turn it's head before the ice cold teeth of the water pokemon came down, clamping onto it and sapping it's strength.

The might of this attack was nearly enough to drop this one, but it had some serious tenacity about it. Struggling free of the totodile, the pidgey hopped back quickly, wings spread wide to start kicking up the sand. That was not going to be good. Before he could call out, the powerful torrent of air from the small birds wings pressed out, sending sand every where and making it hard for Dilla to see. Bosco covered his face to keep sand from hitting him and called out once more.

“Dilla! Water gun!” He shouted, and through the sand, he could see the small big jawed pokemon pull his head backwards slightly, inhale, and then blast out with a rush of water. It nearly missed, and Bosco was about to shout again, but he had seen where his small friend had aimed. The blast of water crashed into the birds' wing, sending it back to the ground. Seizing his chance, he reached to his pocket, pulling out a pokeball and throwing it.

The small bird was rendered into a red light from when the orb connected, snapping shut and dropping to the ground. It was a single shake... Then one more... Then the red dot slowly faded away into the white of the button. He was going to need to head to the pokemon center before long, but Dilla was doing a small dance, happy in his victory.

Sure, Pidgey was a common pokemon, a lot of starter trainers had one... But it was the fact that he had worked hard for so long to finally get to the point of being able to do this that he felt so overjoyed. Perhaps that was how Dilla felt as well, waiting for a trainer to finally summon him up. Either way, he was pleased, he shrank the pokeball down so he could latch it to his belt. He reached down, patting the small pokemon by his side and continuing his walk. The little Totodile seemed pleased with this arrangement, and as they walked, his eyes opened up to look at the pokemon that was just down the road from them.

Having just torn off several branches from a tree, there was a Pinsir, licking away at the sap that was being released. The angry looking bug pokemon turned it's head, his eyes seemed to be filled with anger as it saw the trainer and the small pokemon by it's side, and it let out a dreadful noise. There was not going to be any surprise attack here. This was going to be a knock down, drag out kinda fight. Bosco shifted and his eyes narrowed as he looked at the massive creature, taking in a slow breath and going over what he could do against this. He had the pidgey, who might be more effective in this situation, but it was still wounded from being captured, so he was going to have to improvise.

"Dilla, water gun!" He shouted, the pokemon pulling back and firing the attack a second after being told to. The Pinsir narrowly avoided it, charging towards totodile and and opening it's pincers wide. When they snapped shut, totodile was not in them, having escaped only a fraction of a second before hand. "Dilla! Rage!" He called, the small pokemon roared out as best as it's tiny frame could manage before slashing wildly at the much bigger pokemon.

The attack, at first, didn't appear to do very much. The Pinsir clamped it's massive pincers over the smaller pokemon once again, this time hitting him and causing him to call out in anger and frustration once more. But it's rage was already starting to build up. Bosco didn't even need to call out for him to attack again. Dilla was relentless, just the way he should be in using this move. The slashing of it's small claws did a lot more visible damage, and it took the Pinsir back, causing it to stagger for a moment, eyes filled with worry. It shifted, it's pincers starting to glow slightly. It was going to focus it's energy and try to take down the small pokemon with one final attack... But it wouldn't get the chance. Dilla once more rushed it, swinging wildly with it's claws and knocking it down. Just in time for the pokeball to fly forwards and impact on it's shell.

Red... Shake... Red... Shake... Red... Shake... White... Resting.

"Dilla, calm down. We did it!" He called out, the pokemon snapping out it's mad rage and sitting down, breathing heavy to try and catch it's breath. He walked over, picking up the ball and smiling at his little friend. "Look at you, being as tenacious as possible. I like it. Take a few moments to rest my little friend, then we can see about finding... Say... One more? And then head back home?"
