MIRAI SOLEIL  16 FEMALE COORDINATOR PERFORMER | ABOUT Calm, bright, and mature, Mirai usually the voice of reason in a group and is the cool older sister figure among her peers even if she isn't technically the eldest. Highly intelligent, she possesses a near encyclopedic knowledge about Pokemon: a literal walking Pokedex, though this isn't a gift she needlessly flaunts around. Most people tend to agree that she would have been phenomenal if she pursued the path of being a Pokemon Professor, but her heart lay elsewhere. For her, Pokemon performances are her life and her dream is to put on the greatest shows that will inspire, awe, and bring happiness to a lot of people. She has not discarded her academic side though and doesn't mind partaking in more intellectual discussions on the occasion. INTERESTS Performances are of course her top priority. She makes it a point to always be in the know about top coordinators, contests, and all the important people in the Pokemon entertainment business. Besides that, drafting performance routines and traveling all over the place to get reference materials for her shows are all part of her lifestyle. In her spare time, her other interests include art, culture, history, myths, and legends. Basically she likes old things and appreciates the arts. She's the type of person who would visit a museum rather than an amusement park on her day-off. That's assuming there isn't a big contest or show being held at the time. Otherwise she would totally be there to watch and possibly take notes. FRIENDS Mirai is a great friend... when she's paying attention. She's the type who can lose track of her surroundings and people around her when she is focused on something. More often than not, she doesn't mean to ignore others. As long as you don't take offense to that and don't mind having to snap her back into reality when she drifts off, you should get along well. Conversely when you have her full attention, she is very perceptive and can probably tell at a glance if you have a problem or if you're hiding something. RIVALS As far as Mirai is concerned, there is no one she considers an enemy. She's far too nice for that. Instead she has rivals, and sometimes they can even be her closest friends. She possesses a healthy competitive spirit. Even outside of contests, if you can convince her that she stands to benefit from participating in a challenge and it doesn't go against her values, she'll likely take you up on it. When you do manage to best her in something, be prepared to be bombarded with questions and pestered with match reviews. She's always on the lookout for how she can do better. |

| Eric Sutton x Mirai Soleili can see this tentative possible meeting go awry. eric is on the path to regaining his internet stardom as an instagram "star" after a smear campaign from a rival left his reputation and income in ruins. in a totally creepy way i can see eric possibly finding out her interests and hobbies and even routine so he can get close enough to her so he can take pictures of them for his instagram. it won't be a malicious act, of course, but the clear using nature of him doing this could possibly rub her the wrong way. it doesn't seem as if she's the type to hold grudges or be angry but perhaps she can really kinda break him down as a false person? i'm trying to come up with ways to change him from this sorta single minded man and into an actual trainer -- and get himself reprimanded or even scolded by someone for taking pictures may help! Eric Sutton I may have forgotten this exists cause I've never gotten replies before so excuse the lateness. I can see your plot proposal to be a bit difficult to execute in terms of getting the outcome you'd like. If Eric was really that big of an internet star, then he would have likely crossed into Mirai's entertainment business radar in the past and so she would know a bit of his background. She might even talk business as soon they meet and welcome the extra publicity from him posting photos. So Eric getting reprimanded on that point is unlikely. I think that the situation would actually be reversed and Mirai would be the one who knows more stuff about him when they first meet. It kinda feels like a more generic heart to heart between two comrades in the entertainment business would produce better results if you're hoping for Eric to change in some way from encountering her. Since Mirai would be more than happy to offer her perspective on things while picking the brain of a brooding instagram star. |

I sincerely struggled to come up with something coherent for these two despite thinking they could really get along, or something. Would you want to have this be a pre-arranged thing? Perhaps Eric reached out beforehand to set up a kind of coffee date of some sort to ask her insight? Mirai SoleilI have a few ideas that might work between these two. First off they're around the same age which is perf because 20yr olds are weird but anyways I think a sisterly bond would be really nice. Maybe not so much a big sis/little sis as Aria doesn't do well with superiority. Aria is a researcher atm, so Mirai giving her pointers would be really swell, especially if she gave her a few ideas on where to find good pokemon for breeding. Maybe point her in the direction of the safari zone or somewhere you might find a ditto? Idk, what pokemon are best for breeding lol And finally something I'd like a lot is for Aria to start really becoming a breeder in her own right. So maybe Mirai asking Aria to help breed her a pokemon for contest use?

Eric Sutton While I did mention Mirai would know him, I'm not sure how the opposite can work. Mirai is relatively new to Johto and with Contests not having started yet, I don't think she's done anything to be famous. Actually that might be a good opportunity though. When Contests become a thing, Coordinators will surely gather in one place and that would be the perfect excuse to meet up. That should be this month so we can wait for that if you're not in too much of a rush. I guess I just think this is a bit heavy for a first meeting. Having a random encounter first and getting introductions out of the way might be faster as we can then set up the serious talk for a second meeting. |

Aria Taylor I'm sorry but it's inevitable. If you're gonna hangout with Mirai, it doesn't matter if you're older, she WILL be the big sister. Jokes aside, Mirai hasn't actually totally figured out her team yet IC (neither have I OOC) so I can't promise anything in terms of breeding. But yeah if Aria's looking for tips on Pokemon know-how, then Mirai is definitely down for that. Since we already have a thread meeting each other, setting up a time to chat and go somewhere should be easy enough. |

I find it a little hard for them to bond much in a duo wild thread, so I'm gonna try to take that thread a little slower if you don't mind. Maybe let's look up a mission the two of them could take together instead and plot a bit around that?

Aria Taylor Ah no I didn't mean we would bond in that thread. It's just that we can get introductions out of the way there and then start another thread for plotting/bonding. But I'm sure we can get a couple of meaningful interactions either way. |

Mirai Soleil In that case, still look through the missions thread because I feel like that'd be a great way to bond + make monies, and I'll kick that staryu's butt and get the thread moving asap :) or we can just make a thread in a coffee shop somewhere and I can play around with Swablu a little because I want to flesh out her personality some. also, I'd totally like to hook Buizel and Mareep up if that's okay with you. A little buizel of my own would be adorable :3
