Before they could reach the end of the tall grass as flying figure swooped by infront of them not letting them get through. The shadowy figure on the sky was circling them and before they realized it was gone until a loud chirping noise caught their attention and they focusing their vision and they saw the pokemon who had gotten in the way of their journey. It was none other than the flying and normal type pokemon Starly flapping it's wings and flying infront of them. Scratching his head and left a bit confused assuming the pokemon would be a stronger one he quickly ordered Shup to battle. Shup floated infront of the Starly and facing it's back towards his trainer. Asura started to think which one of Shup's move would be useful to fight against the enemy Starly. He ordered Shup to use Knock off on the enemy Starly and Shup began to charge towards it and slammed it down with it's horn. The Starly quickly got back it's composure and used growl at Shup which caused him to back off a bit surprised.

Asura told Shup to use Knock off again so Shup charged towards the enemy Starly and slammed it down with it's horn again. Weakened but still holding it's ground the Starly charged towards Shup with a Tackle that quickly phased through him due to Shup's typing giving him an Immunity to Normal type moves. Startled the Starly tried to stop the attack flapping it's wings to stop the charge it had just done. After stopping and flying normally now Asura ordered Shup to use Knock Off one more time to try and take down the little bird pokemon. Shup charged yet again towards the Starly and slammed it's horn at it and causing the Starly to fall down towards the ground. As the dirt and smoke cleared out it was cleared the Starly had enough as it was laying on the ground fainted, Shup quickly hovered towards his trainer and began rubbing his face onto his with a big smile. A bit surprised at the sudden affection Asura just started rubbing Shup's head as both were rather happy of their first victory.





Defeated Starly, looking for another encounter.

On their way through route 29 suddenly another obstacle got in their way as another shadowy figure flew quickly by them and stopped infront of them. Shup hovered infront Asura and got ready for battle as they focused on the pokemon they realized it was a Spearow another flying type pokemon and one of the species that they've seen back in their home so they were quite familiar with them. The Spearow didn't waste a second and charged at Shup to deal some damage with it's Peck attack. Caught off guard and surprised Shup was sent back from hit the Spearow had dealt to him.

Asura ordered Shup to use Screech and Shup began emitting a loud noise which seemed to annoy the Spearow more than it already was. Spearow then countered back with Leer which made Shuppet hoover back a bit. Asura told Shup to use Knock Off on the Spearow and Shup quickly moved towards it and slammed it down with it's horn. Spearow got a bit disoriented and started to wobble, getting it's senses back the Spearow jumped back up to the air and used Growl on Shup. Again told to use the same move Shup went and used Knock Off on the enemy Spearow slamming it back down onto the ground. 

Spearow started to stand back up and charged towards the Shuppet, not thinking that the would still be able to move after the two hits Shup was hit one more time the Spearow's peck attack. Rather injured from the two moves but still able to keep itself from fainting Shup attacked the enemy Spearow with another Knock Off. Slamming it to the ground the Spearow remained motionless this time and didn't seem to be able to stand back up. Tired of battling the two pokemon Shup flew towards his trainer and rested on his head.

Getting near the next city Asura and Shup began walking faster so they could both go to a pokemon center and get some well deserved rest after their previous two battles against wild pokemon. But before they could reach the next town Asura stepped on something and upon looking down he realized he stepped on a patch of oran berries and were now crushed under his feet, the patch of grass nearby him began to rustle. Asura slowly looked towards it while the little Shuppet rested on his head and all of a sudden loud chirping began to come from. A shadowy figure charged at him seemingly angry he took a closer look and he saw a little blue bird pokemon known as Taillow. 

Patting Shup on the head to wake him up and he slowly woke up with a small yawn and noticed the pokemon that was flying infront of his trainer. Ready for actionbut still weakened from his last battle Shup floated infront of Asura waiting for him to tell him what to do. Not having many attacking moves Asura ordered Shup to use Knock Off on the Taillow slamming it down. The Taillow flew back like it didn't even have a scratch on him and used Peck against the Shuppet. Shup being sent back from the hit he slowly floated back up and waited for his trainer's command. He told Shup to use his Knock Off attack again and he slammed the Taillow down to the floor one more time but exactly like last time the taillow flew back on and used but this time countering against the Shuppet with it's Leer. Asura grabbed from his bag a pokeball in attempts to catch the sturdy Taillow that his partner was fighting against and threw it at it.
