—Spade used to have plenty of friends. Though the older he got, the less reliable they became. They turned their back on him and since then Spade has kept most people at bay. He's very suspicious of those trying to get close to him because of his past, and would rather never open himself up to others. This gets very lonely for him, so in order to fill that void he chases women and uses them as a way to satisfy him for the time being. It would take a persistent individual, boy or girl, to get Spade to open up and be vulnerable. Trust is something that is earned, but in his case, it takes a lot more work than it would the average person. However, this doesn't make him a debby downer to be around, instead he's friendly to strangers and loves to have fun. It's just when things get too serious, he tends to shut himself off rather quickly. This problem has also contributed to him joining Team Virus, as a reason to have people around him and never really be alone.

—Despite being a Virus member, Spade isn't a cruel person. He has boundaries, and if you cross them, he'll make you regret it. But overall, the eighteen year old would rather avoid drama. Though his sarcastic attitude, and tendency to joke around and poke fun leads to certain situations that sometimes escalate into fights. Nonetheless, it would take an extremely rude, and abhorrent person to really piss off Spade to the level of forever making an enemy. Though, if we're speaking about rivals, or frenemies then the sky is the limit.

—Spade has never fallen in love, instead has only enjoyed the physical joys of being with "lovers". It would be nice to find someone on this Pokemon journey, and share the moments together. Though, since he's never actually felt love before he doesn't yearn for it. Instead, lust is what guides him. Maybe that special someone can permanently heal the void in his heart. But it would take a very dedicated individual.
