lullaby was feeling incredibly powerful with the tm he was given focus blast and the general experience he had been receiving battling all these wild pokemon. darius' eyes were looking for something specific but he knew that the journey was long. he wasn't expecting much, honestly but still held a little inkling of hope that perhaps today may finally be the day where he'd get a second member to the team. a very particular type of guy, damien reveled in the chaos and the exclusivity of his team. lullay, the kadabra, rolled his eyes as they both began the ascent up mt. suribachi with the psychic pokemon being able to hear everything that his trainer was thinking inside of his mind.
"you're obnoxious." lullaby reminded her trainer harshly, almost rep-reminding his incessant need to think about who he was and what he was doing. thoughts began to arise of doing the gyms, the other parts of him shrugging that off as it felt overwhelming and not quite aligned with what he was seeking. the power he sought was not to achieve. it was a defense and a reminder to those around him not to mess with the team virus grunt. it's all he really wanted.
lullaby nodded and shoved darius forward slightly with a psychic push. it may have been the kadabra's way of saying to hurry up but also that he had no desires to do the gyms. his strength wasn't to be tested, but to be harnessed in times of absolute need.
"we'll get there shortly. it'll be a pretty hectic climb to the top." the man looked up to see how high it went. he heard there were a wide array of pokemon here and who knows what would show up today. if anything, darius felt as if kadabra's final evolve form would to come soon. worst case, there was an absolute joy in being able to raise abra up into a beast of a psychic pokemon.
