Painted black nails pulled a lacy umbrella down to touch the end of it to the ground. As the hand pulled on the trigger, the fabric began to close in on the pole until it was secured tightly with a strap. Hanging the hook around the crook of the woman's elbow, fingers began to push large circular framed sunglasses to sit atop black chopped locks. Pressing her red stained lips together for a moment, auburn hued eyes scanned the path before her carefully before slowly lowering it towards the phone in hand. As the bright light of the phone lighted up, a few swipes of her thumb and the woman turned off her phone to stick into her white labcoat pocket. Settled next to the Joy's black combat boots was a darkly coloured wicker basket. The treats that she had promised to this mysterious individual. She found it slightly humourus that even after offering a name in the person's direction, she didn't get one in return. No matter, she did like surprises. Pulling out her phone, she quickly typed a message and sent it towards the stranger. 'I'm here now.'Citalli Batista | sorry for the shortness, hope it's ok. i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ Citalli Batista was a woman of style. She appreciated and enjoyed terms like 'fashion', and 'aesthetic' almost as much as she enjoyed the ritual combat of pokemon and a novel on a rainy day. Thus it was no stretch of the truth to say that whenever she left the once abandoned mansion that she now called her gym she at least 80% of the time came dressed to impress. In white shorts, short heeled boots and black stockings that seemed to morph from black to a deep deep purple the woman traversed her classic stomping grounds. Within minutes of her arrival the woman found a spot underneath the rising moon to read a novel, a single pokeball lie hidden beneath a long black vest she wore hanging off it's back were coattails. Underneath the vest lied a simple white croptop while the lone pokeball was latched onto the shorts. She'd chosen to bring a single pokemon with her for what she expected to be a light stroll through the tower with her companion who'd yet to arrive. She'd spent the earlier part of the day texting a stranger who promised a good few battles and an even better meal something the leader was hard pressed to turn down. While the gym leader seldom left vine covered mansion outside of league business she'd been feeling a little bit more social as of late something she'd blamed the latest novel of interest on and as such sought companions outside of her dreamlike or perhaps more nightmarish allies. The stranger, 'Joy' as she introduced herself seemed to share a common interest or two and so through a little bit of dialogue the twenty-five year old found herself on a short date with the stranger at her favorite location in the region. As Citalli favored the location the woman opted to arrive earlier than usual the planned meeting time digesting a few more chapters of her novel giving her time and to check her light purple eyeliner and black bow before the buzzing of her phone notified the gym leader that her guest had arrived. Amber irises scanned the short text, before pushing herself off a fallen pillar that had become her latest perch as those same eyes moved to the entrance. Seeing no one immediately she'd travel to the entrance herself heels clicking on the once hallowed floors of the tower. In the long-haired woman would appear from the shadows of the entrance a hand on her hip the now prominent moonlight bouncing against her lavender nailpolish. "I hope you don't mind Night Noctowl, I've already made a bit of a roost." A little corny, but it'd serve as a greeting confirming Citalli was indeed the stranger Joy had spent a small portion of her day sending messages to. While she'd observe the woman getting a good look at her now. She couldn't help but giggle appreciating her guest's sense of style, "A woman after my own aesthetic..." She'd wave shorter haired woman in, fading back into the darkness before standing in the center of the main lobby moonlight shining into the ruins. "Welcome to the Burned Tower." As she spoke she'd turn to the woman allowing the remnants of the tower serve as he backdrop extending her hand as if to gesture to the majesty of the destroyed place as if guiding the woman into a tomb of riches. [attr="class","joy2"] [attr="class","joy1"] Auburn hued eyes trailed along the ground to the distinct sound of heels clicking behind her, slowly turning around as she awaited for the individual to reveal themselves from the shadow. Eyes trailed on the mysterious individual's personage, soaking in her similar style of clothing though perhaps a bit more refined that Joy's own. The edge of her lip quirking upward as the woman began to fade dramatically back into the shadows before illuminating herself in the moonlight. Reaching down to pick up the picnic basket, she straightened her back to follow after the beckoning motion in her direction. "I must say this is a lovely little cove." she commented, the shift of light and dark crossing along her features as she moved before coming to a stop in front of Citalli. Extending her free hand out, the laced umbrella swayed in the motion. Auburn hued eyes centered on the mysterious woman. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Citalli. I'm Joy."Whether she was given a handshake in return or not, she pulled the hand back to reach into the inside of her dark green lowtop. Pulling out a miniature pokeball between two fingers, rolling it to the palm of her hand she pressed the button to enlargen the device. A brilliant light flashing out of the opening to reveal a small Eevee. "And this is Splendid."Slowly turning around, the Eevee gave a small mewl of a sound as he looked up at Citalli with doe like eyes. Canting her head to allow black locks to cascade along the side of her face, she watched Citalli with curious eyes before speaking. The woman would step through the shadows sweeping her parasol in a single hand before offering a classic handshake, one Citali wouldn't hesitate to return. Citalli kept her grip firm, but soft making sure not to squeeze too hard before releasing the woman's hand her own hand returning to her hip. The doctor of sorts. With introductions between the two completed Joy would then throw a pokeball forward releasing a companion from the capsule ushering in a second phase of 'hellos'. The capsule would reveal a furry brown fox pokemon, popular in every region around the world. "So this cute little friend is your partner." The leader would crouch a knee grazing against the olden wood floors as she reached out to pet the normal type pokemon. Regardless of how 'Splendid' responded the woman would call her own pokemon out. A goldenrod lizard like pokemon eyes closed entirely would appear from within the latest red light a single sharp eye opening for a brief second quickly analyzing the surroundings and the newcomers before yawning and returning to his natural sleepy state. "It may not seem like it, I'm sure Marx is honored to make your acquaintance, as am I Joy." She look up to the short haired woman amber eyes focused on the medic as she asked her question, "We shall~." There's a tune in the amber eyed woman's voice as she begins to lead the way through one of the corridors deeper into the ruined tower making sure to keep the guest engaged. "With that coat I can only assume you're a scientist or a medic of sorts. [attr="class","joy2"] [attr="class","joy1"] The Eevee seemed to shake with delight at the pet, soaking up all contact that it could manage even following the hand until it could no longer keep in contact. His body fall off to the side but quickly regaining his balance to hop with a merry mewl at the woman. Beady black eyes centering on the appearing Pokemon, not seeming to mind the lack of attentiveness on the Abra's part, Splendid pranced towards the other Pokemon to happily circle it. May's own attention shifted from the Pokemon to look at receding woman's form. "You'll spoil him with that kind of attention." Taking a step forward, she began to follow after the woman. Swinging the parasol hooked on her arm before giving a beckoning motion towards the prancing Eevee. Taking note of the action, he instantly straightens his posture to hurriedly rushes after keep a close distance from the back of her feet. Auburn hued eyes soaking in the corridor walls, attentively watching the path before the two. Painted lips parting to speak, "Not entirely."She licked the edge of her lips, dragging the tongue slowly back into her mouth as her gaze settled on the other woman's back. "I'm a Pokemon Nurse." the glint of something in the shadows catches the woman's attention, taking a step back and towards the side. Shifting her weight as she placed a hand to her lips, pursing them together and a smile appearing on her features. The picnic basket was held closely to her body, flipping the parasol into the grasp of her fingers it was extended out towards the glint. "Quick attack."Following the line produced with the parasol, Splended crouched towards the ground and sprung forward with intense speed. Rushing at the glint with a light growl, he came swiping right into something that bounced and popped out of the shadows. The Meowth scrambling towards its feet, the holding a paw out with claws unsheathing. The two Pokemon took a few seconds to feel the other out before the Meowth came forward to retaliate. Extending out a clawed paw, Splendid moves to dodge the attack but is instantly fooled by the Meowth who turns its body to tackle into the other. Splendid used Quick Attack!
It hit for major damage!

It hit for minor damage! Skidding onto the ground and being in such close distance, Splendid growls at the Meowth, opening his mouth to reveal sharp pointy teeth. Closing it on the neck of the Meowth, he gave it a good crunch as it squealed in pain before going limp in the Eevee's mouth. Waiting a few seconds to make sure that it wasn't trying to fool it once more, he eventually lets go and glances back towards the woman with a glee in his demeanor. Trotting to the woman's side, awaiting for any praise that was to be had in his direction. Splendid used bite!
It hit for moderate damage!
Meowth fainted!
Splendid leveled up! Kneeling down, she places the parasol in her lap to pat with her now freed hand. Rubbing gently into his furry brown fur, she offered a small smile at the Pokemon before retracting her hand to reclaim the parasol. Pushing herself up to stand and turn her attention towards Citalli.
