" Pika!" " Eat a dick!" " Pika! Pika!" " Eat two dicks!" " Pi! Pika!" " Eat a whole field of dicks!" " Pi......" " What the fuck?!" And just like that, after their intense game of Speed Uno, Pikachu came out on top with the entire jackpot being his—this jackpot being nothing more than junk food; chips, cupcakes, cookies, and fruit candy. The adorable yellow mouse Pokémon does a victory jig before reaching over the mountain of junk food and pulling it over to his side. Chancelor is left looking dumbfounded, four cards still in hand, mouth agape as he just watches the yellow creature make it big with his snacks. " Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait!" Chancelor calls out, putting his own hand above the crawling arms of Pikachu. The victorious mouse didn't take such gestures too kindly, so, in retaliation he sends a little zap to the hand of the human—this one simply a warning, but the next one? That'll be his ass. He quickly retracts his hand, the numbness already setting in. " Can I talk? Lemme' talk!" He pleas, Pikachu looking at the human with squinted eyes of distrust. " Peep game, bro." Chancelor beings to speak, reaching into his backpack and pulling out even more goodies and laying them across the blanket as if it was a large sum of money. " Double or nothin', fam. What doya' say?" The yellow mouse thinks the offer over long and hard before moving his arms again to get the jackpot on his side of the beach blanket. " C'mon! Don't be a lil ho, bro!" In the water—some distances away from such horrible behavior swam an Empoleon; the regal Pokémon slicing through the waves like a hot knife passing through butter. Like a jet boat, the emperor gliding across the water both emerged and submerged. Every now and again, the armored penguin would dive to the depths of the ocean before rocketing itself out of the water and soaring high into the sky; so high, it would appear the Empoleon could touch the surface of the sun. Upon diving back into the ocean like a rocket, the regal Pokémon would peek its head up from the waves and glance over at Chancelor and the Pikachu having a swell ole' time. Not really the type for games or gambling for that matter, Empoleon opted to enjoy the wetness of the water, the speed in which he can glide, and the distance in which he could leap. ✝ tag(s) - @anyjaun . ✝ notes - open wild = ] . |

The sun was warm and Zuri could already start to see the signs of tanning. Which was exactly what she wanted. At least if she did nothing but walk about she wouldn't have to worry about uneven tan lines between her back and front.
It was the duskull that first noticed the man and the pikachu. She noticed the empoleon more since it was splashing about and looked rather pretty in the ocean. Taking a great opportunity to scare someone it faded itself into the sand. Normally he couldn't be able to go into the earth due to it being so densely packed but the sand was nice and loose. He pulled himself out right behind the pikachu hovering over it menacingly.
"Monty," she called knowing her pokemon all too well. "Don't bother them. Can't you see they're playing a game." Her gaze went from the empoleon to the man on the beach. He was no doubt the man who owned it.
"Do forgive him he just likes getting a laugh from scaring people," she said walking up and cuffing her pokemon. Not that it did much though as a slap was like a normal attack it just went right through him. Monty just grinned like a child caught by their parents. Chancelor just watched Pikachu indulge himself in the mountain of candy with pure disgust—it was like watching a fat kid having a field day at the candy store. " I hope you get all kinds of stomachaches..." The Trainer says, eyes lifting off the yellow mouse and being placed on the touchscreen of his red PokéNav; it was time to check the social media feed; see what these thotties and all the famous people he follows are getting into this fine summer day. Pikachu was stuffing his mouth, peanut butter candy pieces in one side of the cheek with chocolate pieces in the other side—the perfect blind of chocolate and peanut butter for the victorious mouse to enjoy in celebration. However, a sudden ' chill' ran down the spine of the Electric type—as if he was being watched from the beyond. Something in his gut told him to turn around, so he did, very slowly and cautiously. That was when he was face to face with a Duskull attempting to frighten him. Pikachu remained stone-faced throughout their little interaction, jaws working away at the candy in his mouth as ears twitched in mild confusion. " Pika!" He calls out to get the attention of his Trainer, letting him know there was a Duskull about them. Chancelor looks up from his phone and places both eyes on the spectral Pokémon. A cocked brow soon to follow, a brow of confusion; how was a Ghost type Pokémon at the beach? Before he could begin to answer the question himself, a voice from a girl broke the awkward silence among Chancelor and Pikachu. Both Pokémon and human put their attention on the girl and looked at her from the comfort of their beach blanket. " Nah you're both good. I just feel sorry for your Duskull is all. The only thing Pikachu is afraid of is a world with no more women. Ain't that right, bro?" The mouse can't help but nod because his Trainer was speaking nothing but truth. " You out here alone?" Chancelor inquires to the female, " why don't you join us? We ain't doing nothing but eatin' candy and playing card games." He asks with his trademark smile, pearly white teeth on full display as he lays down the charm he is known for. Empoleon, still in the depths of the oceans, was no chasing a poor Mantyke like the apex predator he was. The Kite Pokémon tried its best to flee from the emperor, but the regal penguin proved way to swift and experienced in this matter. Cornered, Mantyke tries to hit the armored Pokémon with a Supersonic—high pitched waves of sound floating towards Empoleon in an attempt to confusion him from the high-pitch attack. However, the emperor merely evades the attack with the graceful of a Pokémon who is more comfortable in water than they are land. He gets in the face of the Mantyke and chops down on it, catching the little Kite in his beak before jetting out of the water and leaping extremely high out of the ocean. Midair, Empoleon swallows the Pokémon whole and goes back within the depths of the ocean. "Bad luck for you then," Zuri said looking to Monty who threw his head back in pretend despair. So much for the fun of scaring people.
"You shouldn't eat too much candy. It'll rot your teeth out," Zuri said joining them. She didn't have much to do anyway. A card game or two would be a welcome distraction. "Name's Zuri and the troublemaker is Monty."
The duskull gave a friendly wave before wandering off down the beach. Maybe he could find something else to scare. A few feet away a small tidepool had gathered a pokemon into it. He tried sneaking up on this one but it turned towards him last second. Before circling back around slapping at the ghost with her tail.
En garde, that was a challenge for sure. The pair squared off with the duskull releasing an aura of dark energy to form a sphere to swallow them both up. The fish responded by jumping from the water pecking at his mask which he grabbed afterwards to check for cracks. It was on now. His skills for levitation keeping him just out of reach of its pecks though it still managed to jump high enough a few times to catch him off guard.
"So what card game were you playing," Zuri said looking at the bounty of candy before them. They really had planned on making a day of it with all this candy. Probably bought out the rest station down the street from the looks of things.
Speaking of games it seemed her duskull had found something to entertain himself with. She could feel his dark energy go in and out with his attacks. The feeling finally faded completely signaling the end of the battle. Moments later Monty rejoining the party and resting on her head. Won [googlefont=Open+Sans] |

Pikachu merely looks the girl up and down when she warns him about the monsters that are cavities. The adorable yellow mouse, with all manner of chocolate smeared all over his mouth simply shrugs his shoulders before returning to the collected jackpot—sorting the goods by flavor, which ones he liked from least to greatest, and the quantity of each type of said candy. The ebony skinned boy shakes his head in more disgust, Pikachu always did this kind of thing to passively boast about what he had over others, especially when it came to gambling and willing in a landslide. Chance hated losing to the little yellow fucker, but even he had to admit, he had one cunning and sneaky Pikachu—a one of a kind partner he'd never part with despite how much he might ' hate' the yellow guy. " Look at him," Chance says to the girl in response to her warning, head gesturing towards the greedy mouse stuffing his face. " He don't care one single bit." Once she introduces herself and the Duskull, she joins the duo upon their blanket—Chancelor expertly shuffling the cards making sure they were good and randomized for the next game whenever that may be. " McQueen and bro over there is Pikachu, it's a pleasure to meet you." The youngest McQueen grins at the girl again another coat of charm being laid on subtly. " We were just playing a little Speed Uno, y'know? But I have a pack of 52 playing cards if you want to play something else? What are you feelin', Zuri?" Chance asks, his eyes upon the female as he awaits her answer. Back in the ocean depths, The Emperor has found another meal, this one a Remoraid; a speedy little thing it was. Empoleon gave the fish a fighting chance, he was a firm believer of giving Pokémon a fair and honest fight even if it meant giving up on a otherwise easy to obtain kill or meal. Empoleon valued honor above all else, which is why him and Chancelor make such a good unit—they are both extremely proud beings that'll put their life on the line if it meant defending what they firmly believe in. Remoraid attacked with a high-powered jet of water, but Empoleon manage to easily evade the first Water Gun but opted to take the second one in an attempt to gauge the strength of this Remoraid. An armored fin blocked the Water Gun with ease, this wild Pokémon wasn't very strong at all; the perfect cattle for the hungry shark that was The Emperor. Deflecting the high-powered jet of water with a fin that acted like a shield, Empoleon swam forward until he was right in the face of the Remoraid. Zuri pondered his question. She knew several card games but was honestly only good at a few. Poker and games like it were not her strong suit at all. Mainly because her eyes had a tendency to give her away even if her face didn't.
"Does Gin sound good," she asked deciding it was something simple enough and all they had to do was play to one-hundred points which would give them some time together but she still wanted to be able to go into town in time for dinner rush to get food cheaper at the diner. Playing cards on a beach with a stranger may not be how she imagined her day but it was well enough.
Monty looked to either male. Deciding to be her lookout. He slowly slinked down her back ready to hide himself.
"Don't think it," she said ruining his plot of helping her by cheating. Drooping he wandered away not really wanting to play cards. It didn't help the only games he knew was War and Kings Corners.
Left to his devices he wandered down the beach. He found a pretty blue shell half buried in the sand. As he went to grab it though it was heavier than he thought and it blinked at him. He dropped it startled and then facepalmed himself. He was a ghost how could he let something like that make him jump.
A small stream of water shot by him as he barely dodged it. It seemed his foe was not pleased at being disturbed. Well engarde, he summoned his dark energy to swallow them both. He seriously needed to get stronger the fact he only scratches them each time was ridiculous.
It took several attacks between the two for there even to be a victor. Monty sat on the pokemons shell resting. He was pooped and his whole...ethereal form ached. It had seriously been too close for comfort. If he didn't know how to levitate he'd be d-e-a-d again. Won [googlefont=Open+Sans] |

" Gin?" Chancelor looked at Pikachu who shrugged little yellow shoulders in quick response, the Pokémon cared not of the card game being played as long as he continued to win and get even more candy. " Gin it is then," the youngest McQueen says with a grin bestowed upon the female, shuffling the deck of cards expertly before dealing them out. Pikachu reacted quickly to one of the dealt piles of cards, looking up at Chancelor with twitching ears. " Looks like bro wants to face off against ya' one-on-one." He finishes dealing the female a hand of cards with Pikachu nodding frantically in agreement. " You're fine with that, right? You ain't gotta throw nothin' into the 'pot' either, this little fat fucker has enough candy and junk as is." The adorable little mouse looks over at his Trainer with squinted eyes, mouth still working away at the candy, tail swishing in a sassy manner. The youngest McQueen then slowly stands up, dusting the blown sand off his lap and legs before taking a few steps off of the beach blanket. " You two play, I need to go check up on somethin'." With that being said, Chancelor walks off to the shore of the beach, lapping waves clashing an swaying up to his ankles. The teenager then stares off at the ocean, awaiting for something to show—awaiting for a certain Pokémon to make himself known. The Emperor, in the depths of the ocean, was now messing around with a Staryu—the cosmic Pokémon put up one helluva' fight compared to the other Pokémon before it. Both Empoleon and Staryu swam at high-speeds in the ocean, like a game of cat and mouse, The Emperor remained on the tail of the Staryu who used it smaller size to weave and swim through openings the much larger Pokémon wouldn't have been able to fit or squeeze through. Empoleon managed to cut off the swift Starfish, floating directly in front of the Pokémon with steady hues upon it. That was when Staryu attacks with a Rapid Spin, cutting through the water like a throwing star slicing through the air. When it approached The Emperor, he'd simply slap it away with the back of an armored wing—the cosmic Pokémon sent soaring into an underwater rock and colliding with it with great impact. The Starfish was done with that ' counter hit' alone, the poor Pokémon sinking to the sand underneath the water and falling to the effects of unconsciousness. "I don't mind," Zuri said alright with the one on one. She had to agree with the fact the pikachu didn't need more candy. Part of her wondering if this was normal for it. She could only imagine it being in the hospital with a stomach pump after so much for its small frame. Still, she wasn't its trainer so she couldn't say much.
"Right then," she said watching him leave before picking up her cards and sorting them. A decent hand from the looks of things.
The duskull was enjoying the sunshine from on top his fallen opponent so much he had fallen asleep. No, not quite really the battle had just exhausted him and now he was recovering with a nap. Sleeping on a fallen foe probably not the best idea but it was all pretty chill till a wave came up far enough to hit him. The sudden splash waking him with a jolt.
The duskull floated up blinking a few times before looking out at the ocean. His gaze catching something bright and yellow. the two bulbs bouncing on the waves as they came in. The chinchou obviously scared of something in the water. scared enough that when it spotted the ghost hovering over the body of another pokemon it nearly jumped out of its skin. At least this one looked weaker so maybe it stood a chance of not being eaten.
Watching the twitching antenna the duskull knew immediately when it was in for a fight. Consuming the pair in his dark energy he decided to attack first. The chinchou left shaken by the time the energy dispersed. It was far from out though as it released a barrage of bubbles. Which the duskull had trouble avoiding the sheer amount.
The pair went back and forth like this for several more minutes. Before the chinchou tried something new. It released an electro ball at the duskull leaving it twitchy as the energy coursed through its form. Probably would have done a lot more if he had nerves. Still, it left him exhausted and the duo settling into a staring contest as they both realized they were too weak to continue an all-out fight.
"Set and game," Zuri said laying down her cards before throwing her discard. It had taken a few hands to reach a hundred and for a long moment, she thought she'd lose. The pikachu should be a professional gambler. "You could have a career with card games."
She stretched a bit looking to the ocean. "I should find Monty. He's been too quiet for too long. It's been fun though. Maybe we'll run into one another again sometime," she said standing with a wave.
She walked the beach towards Monty's aura. Finding the duskull practically laying on the beach staring at another pokemon. A useful pokemon she might add. With it being half electric the normal weakness to electricity a water type had was nullified. Which made it a desirable catch, to say the least.
She reached into her bikini bra bringing out two small orbs that grew with a click. She returned Monty to one before tossing the otherone at the chinchou. She picked it up but seconds after it vanished inside. A nice addition to her rather small team. It was time to get off the beach. Catch Attempt [googlefont=Open+Sans] |
