She couldn't say who was more stupid; The man who challenged an entire room full of trainers, the trainers themselves for forgetting they were in a three story building, or her for standing her ass on the stage and right in the middle of it. Everything happened so fast too, trainers were neglecting the league rules of not interfering in a battle, which was clearly because of the danger this fake imposed on them, and they were sending out their pokemon to do moves all at the same time! It was chaotic. Jumping down off the stage, she threw her shoes off before reaching into her bag. One of them dared to use Earthquake. [break][break] "Luna!" she called, the pokeball capsule opening to reveal the small Ralts that she picked up in her arms. The floor began to crack, and she stumbled to her knees. "The floor is gonna cave out, can you use psychic?" she asked desperately pleading with her pokemon. With a nod, the secured pokemon illuminated a purple aura around both her and the ground under her as it split off from the floor as everyone began to fall. The two of them slowly descended and Haruka grew sick watching the scene below. People and pokemon dropped the height, some trapped underneath and even some fire started in certain places. Whats more is the air around the first floor reeked of burnt hair and it seemed they had a similar situation. [break][break] Was the entire tower taken over? Is that why they had yet to do the announcement? She even worried for the professor and her project if these thugs were here. Who did they say they were again? [break][break] After landing safely, Haruka pulled out her wartortle and cyndaquil along with her Ralts, "Honou, Genbu and Luna, we need to help these people. Can you work together to lift away any debris, and put out fires?" she asked, to which the concerned pokemon agreed to assist. Luna could use psychic to help anyone free while Genbu used aquatail to douse fires. She wished she had a pokemon with healing abilities however, but if they could get everyone out safely then there was no danger. But that was the problem, they were trapped. [break][break] Notes: Ralts used psychic to break fall, Haruka brought out her pokemon to help any people trapped by rubble and debris.

fuck, fuck, fuck. every thing was happening so quickly that damien wasn't sure what to do any more. from the trembling of the building to his own pokemon still on the battlefield. he had made an executive decision at this point. "fuck this." he rattled off as the building began to crumble. damien released hoya as quickly as possible and pointed over to alec. "glide his ass down, now!" the frantic gruff in damien's voice worried the gligar but he did as he was supposed to as pieces of the second floor began to crumble off. damien's eyes watched for the others who were helping, the fighter annoyed that they would be so fucking careless in a time like this as if there were no consequences. "get back here you two!" damien grabbed both of his pokeballs to return his larvitar and his hitmonchan, unfortunately the earth trembles only made it possible for frey to return in. the entire floor broke into pieces as damien began to fall. he had no psychic pokemon, his only flying type had to help alec. his eyes quickly found the two of them feeling relieved as they were together. but now, the real question was how the fuck was he going to save his damn self? the fighter was springy and kicked over against one of the falling pieces as he tried to brace his fall somehow. tulley watched as he used ice punch in the air creating tiny platforms to try and hop his way over to damien. he wouldn't make it in time and subsequently create shards of jagged ice that would hit the floor and explode upwards into those currently falling. damien braced for his fall, swearing, relieving himself and finding the safest area as his body collided with the floor and immediately the man felt immense pain as if his bones shattered and he began to cough up blood. it only took a few seconds before piles of large debris fell on top of the man in haste, tulley letting out a primal guttural noise as he fell as well. using his own agility, he landed in absolute pain on the floor as he kicked off the ice platforms to get to the ground quicker and as safely as possible. a consistent motion of punching off the debris, the hitmonchan found damien's body limp and lifeless.

All around him it seemed like things were falling apart in every sense of the word. The foolish trainers using attacks like earthquake and bulldoze were causing everything to crumble, while seemingly doing nothing to the aggron they were targetting. Even his own pokemon's attacks were fruitless, Tiny hurting himself more than his target as he kicked against it's tough metal plates. Meanwhile Wooly was trying his best to slow down the huanchkrow with little success. Not that it mattered to Frederick, who was already on his way to dealing with the root of the problem. It was a surprise that the masked man didn't seem to have any grunts that were trying to stop him on his approach, but he wasn't about to question the blessing. Between him and the other trainer's assault there was a good chance they would be able to overpower this interloper which would hopefully bring an end to this mess. That is unless...
Of course he had more pokemon. What kind of idiot would pull a stunt like this without having his own team to back him up. Frederick was prepared for this, his hands resting on he sprinted forward. An amused smile crossed his face as he saw the two pokemon emerge in from the pokeball's energy. An umbreon and an espeon, a classic combination. Unfortunately for them he had just the thing to deal with the both of them. Grabbing a ball from his belt the ranger moved to toss the ball to release it's contents, only to find that his body was no longer responding to his commands. It appeared he was too slow.
The vigilante stared at the virus admin as he was stuck, frozen mid motion. Despite his motionless form the man's heart was racing, adrenaline pumping through his veins as he felt the overwhelming desire to cave the arrogant young man's head in. It was in this moment that something inside of him snapped. Where there was once a man who was the picture of calmness and clarity was someone filled to burst with hatred and rage. Golden eyes stared intensely at his captor, features twisting into a glaring grimmace as he clenched his teeth. He didn't know who this man was or what his goals were, but there was one thing that was for certain. This man wasn't over. Not by a long shot.
He spoke no words, his eyes locked on to the burning figure as he tossed the ranger into the hole leading to the first floor. It wasn't until this moment that Frederick realized what was happening around him, snapping him out of his rage. The ranger quickly regained his composure, flicking his wrist and loosing the pokeball. "Race! Slow my descent!" The yanma appeared in a burst of red light and immediately dashed toward his trainer, thin black legs gripping his arm as tightly as possible as he rapidly flapped his wings in an effort to save him. But it wasn't enough, as he was unable to counteract the momentum from being tossed.
In that moment everything seemed to slow down to a crawl, the large insect's 360 degree vision revealing a broken wooden beam that was directly on their current trajectory. The image of his trainer falling to the ground and being impaled upon the debris below flashed in the Race's mind, filling him with dread. After everything Frederick had done for him and the rest of the team, all of the lessons learned and how far they had come in such a short time...He couldn't let it all end like this. Tiny would never forgive him. No, he had to do whatever it took to save Frederick! His body and mind filled with determination, Race felt something awaken within him.
His body became engulfed in a bright white light, under which his body was quickly going through a massive transformation. Moments later the light was gone, and where a distraught yanma once was appeared a much larger insect. Yanmega. With it's much longer limbs firmly grasped around the dark skinned ranger's arm the newly evolved pokemon would use it's powerful wings to bring their descent to a complete stop, and slowly lower them both to the ground below.
Frederick watched in awe as all of this occurred, the display of willpower shown by his usually timid pokemon catching him completely off guard. Even with all of this destruction surrounding him he couldn't help but feel a moment of pride and joy for his dedicated teammate. "That was...Thank you Race. Now go find the others. We need to get them in their balls as soon as possible." With a deep buzz of affirmation the yanmega would dart off, searching through the rubble for the nidorino and mareep that were likely brought down with everything else. Meanwhile Frederick set his eyes on the stage, where yet another suspicious man stood. What the hell was going on with this event?
tl;dr- Readied Race to counter the umbreon and espeon but got grabbed before he could release him, got really angry and thrown into the hole, released Race to slow down his fall, Race is unable to sufficiently slow down the fall, Race is filled with determination to protect Frederick and evolves into Yanmega and safely lowers him to the ground, Fred thanks Race and tells him to look for the rest of the team while he stares at Flare tries to get his bearings on the new floor.

clever as the devil but twice as pretty ____________________
Oh...shit. Oh... fuck. Alright, so, maybe pulling out earthquake wasn't her best of judgement. The moment she felt the floor beneath her creaking, Vivian realized just how screwed she was. She wasn't exactly scared - no. She was pissed - mostly because this meant she couldn't finished the god damned fight. She wanted to be the person that brought that aggron to its knees - and now, she was getting robbed of it. "You mother fucking-" She couldn't even finish her shout of sheer anger as the floor beneath her, and all the others, literally began to break and began to cave inwards. As pissed as she was, it was time to start doing some smart thinking so she didn't die from something as stupid as falling. "Asta, use stone edge - now dammit," she shouted. The larvitar was obviously confused, but, quickly, obliged, a large mass of stones jutting from the breaking floor. Each creak and groan of the floor was like a time indicator of just how close they were to possibly plummeting to their deaths. While other trainers may have been focused on helping each other out... Heh, fuck that. "Barbatos, use zen headbutt," quickly, the cranidos smashed his head against the jagged stones - once, twice, and then, they broke into large chunks of earth, to which Vivian clambered on top of, returning the other two and letting out her ralts, Arsene. The psychic/fairy type looked highly confused, his head tilted, the screams of others making him partially quiver with a desire and need to help. But, Vivian wouldn't let him. There was no point in saving others if 'number one' was dead, right? They could do that later. "Use confusion to keep this afloat - hurry," she urgently commanded her pokemon, holding onto the uneven chunk of rock. A faint outline of a glowing blue surrounded it just as the floor broke and they went plummeting. At first, Vivian was...a bit terrified. And angry. Had her plan not worked? Was Arsene not fast enough? But, the feeling of air rushing around her as she plummeted down or the feeling of every bone in her body being shattered never came. Craning open her eyes, she saw her 'makeshift' platform of rock clumsily hovering about, steadily descending as Arsene lowered them. It had worked...well, sorta. Several meters off the ground of one of the floors - Vivian had lost track which they were on now - the ralts became thoroughly tired out, literally dropping her as she let out a short grunt, her body none too gently hitting the ground. "Fucking thanks, Arsene," she grumbled under her breath, shakily standing. Something warm was steadily trickling down her forehead, and a quick swipe of her fingers indicated that it was blood. Well, that explained the immense headache she was suddenly starting to have. Thankfully though, the cut likely wasn't too deep...She had survived. Tl;dr: Vivian realizes her mistake, sorta, and is pissed. She uses her larvitar and cranidos to create a large chunk of earth she can hold onto while her ralts uses its psychic prowess to keep it afloat. Basically, Terra style. They land somewhat safely. She has a cut on her forehead and a few bruises. [googlefont=Poiret One][googlefont=VT323]

I want a heart that can laugh without lying. If I hadn't wanted anything from the start, maybe my heart wouldn't have sank so low. [attr="class","growl"]Amidst the chaos. Alec stood on the backline as he watched the battle unfold. Though, due to those whose Pokemon caused the tower to shake, he, too, would be soon swept from underneath due to the floor's breakage. His body having only just noticed at the latest that he was no longer standing upon solid flooring. Alec, staring at his brother from across with widened emerald stones, was now falling toward a spiraling death. Others following behind, Alec's left arm extended as far as it could to reach out for his brother; only, then, did he come to realize that his brother's hand was out of reach. This was the end of his story. How bothersome, he wasn't afraid of the fact he was dying; he was afraid that he'd have to face his mother again, only to leave his brother all alone. Ah man, this was unfun; so unfun. They were suppose to travel the region together. Dying would really suck right now: No more gambling, no more traveling, and he'd never be able to hear those three words from the attention he longed from his father. All of it gone and no more---or so he thought. It wasn't until the blonde male felt an attachment upon his back, it was Gligar. Alec could barely see Damien amongst the rubble and debris that, too, fell from above. And as they descended unto the first floor. Amongst the large dust cloud and silence that lingered about, small murmurs being heard here and there. Alec would come to look to the Gligar who possessed a joyous look that he was able to save Alec; though, that look would soon turn into one of solace the next. Alec's gaze drifted to the direction to which Gligar faced, eyes met with DAMIEN VON KLAUSS 's body in the grasp of Hitmonchan. Taking a moment to register. There was blood bleeding trickling over the male's right eye, but that would all be ignored as he stood within an attempt to walk toward his brother. Stumbling with hidden woe, Alec's facial expression forced itself to produce an inappropriate smile. "Hey, Damien! Are you okay?" Alec shook the shoulder of his elder brother. "Hey, hey, we don't have time to sleep. There's some bad guys you have to beat up, you know? And it looks like there's two of them now!" He continued to shake the limped body. "As much as we'd all prefer to sleep, you know we're practically on the verge of dea--" With an attempt to hold his hand Alec felt the weight of the heavy limb. "Da...mien?" A single tear befell from his left eye. Damien may have just left Alec all alone. It's not fun--no, not at all, it was unfair. ⟥ DAMIEN VON KLAUSS ⟥ With Gligar's help he landed safely, but he's pretty much mourning over the body of his dead brother. It took him a minute to realize he was actually dead though, so, rip. Fuck you, Van. | DO YOU REMEMBER? LOOK AT ME AND ALL THE THINGS WE SAID WE'D BE. WE BEAT THE HOUNDS, WE PUSHED THE ODDS. WE'D TAKE IT ALL - WE HAD THE CAUSE. WITH YEARS TO BURN AND YEARS TO TRASH, LIVIN' LIFE BASED ON FLASH. BUT SOMEHOW REACHING FOR THE STARS, I THINK WE WENT A BIT TOO FAR.
The man doesn't even make it to the floor as the cloaked individual calls two more of his pokemon out quickly catching the trainer and another man. An older gentleman with a baton who seemed to have shared Azad's idea (Frederick Ferdinand ) coming at a different angle. The enemy wasted little time speaking to them before using his espeon's psychic to fling them to the first floor that'd at this point almost completely caved in. Azad swore his eyes focused on the black-haired villains only for his feigned weightlessness to suddenly end gravity immediately taking control of the man. With only rage in his spirit the silver-haired trainer spoke only one word. "AROS."
The golem pokemon was already on its way weaving to catch the dark skinned trainer on its back the researcher landing almost flawlessly, thanks to his own pokemon's psychic. Keeping the psychic in tact the Metang in theory glued the trainer to its back as they surfed down to the first floor preforming a number of aerial maneuvers even going upside down at certain points to avoid falling debris. Upon making it to the first floor Azad simply floated above still attached to the Metang surveying the damage. Trainers and pokemon alike simply trying to survive the chaos of the event.
With so much going on Azad had to stop think and attempt to prioritize, he broke the list into three categories.
One: What he wanted to do. Two: What people were doing. Three: What needed to be done.
The first was easy, he wanted to fly back up to the second floor and take down the man that'd attempted to throw him down. However, with the sheer amount of pokemon he had and how strong they seemed to be that wasn't feasible nor did it fall into the most important category.
The second was a bit harder, people were still gathering themselves and as such was simply disorganized. Crying, Screaming, protecting themselves and some were even brave enough to attack the man who seemed to be running the show on the first floor.
The third was easiest to understand. His eyes fell towards the massive aggron on then up to the hole it'd left in the floor. He'd then eye the moving pillar that while it still swayed cracks had begun to form across the item that kept the tower together. There was no doubt in his mind that by the end of the evening this place would collapse, and it would affect the landscape for miles. And so what he needed to do was simple.
"Gotta the fuck out of here."
That said, he couldn't leave all these people behind. The exits were guarded and there wasn't enough time to move the guards out of the way and so they all needed another way out. Searching below he needed to find people, people who could still fight or at least had pokemon that could.
And so he'd continue to blast forward atop his metang first spotting the man who'd joined him in his attack minutes prior (Frederick Ferdinand ) and a girl who seemed to have a full team of pokemon out many of which looked strong enough to help with his plan. (Vivian Valestein ) he didn't have time to bicker or argue and so he'd speak quickly. "The pillar that's holding this place up is coming down. Exits are blocked. If you have any pokemon attack the far west wall we're making our own exit."
And with that the man speed off surfing toward the wall only to see a familiar Meditite stopping only to check on the pokemon's trainer. Only now would the trainer hop off his ride eying his former combatant.
"Shit." Hard focused eyes softened at the sight of his acquaintance and her gruesome injury. His mind almost immediately delving into a dark place. I should have been there. A fact that did shit for either of them now.
"Ash, you're gonna be fine alright, we're gonna get you some help, but we can't stop yet." Eyes flickered to her pokemon, the large donphan in particular. "I'm gonna need your help to save a lot of people, including each other. Ash can you have your donphan use rollout against that wall. The exits are blocked and we need to leave. Now.
And with that he'd move to lift the girl himself if she's unable to walk.
------------------------------
-Azad notices Frederick Ferdinand in ALEXANDER LOWELL 's psychic and both are thrown to the first floor. -Azad calls Metang who uses psychic to catch him, before surfing on the back of the steel pokemon (psychic is being used to keep Azad in place) - Azad takes a moment to survey the area while avoiding falling debris deciding to prioritize escaping after seeing the damage to the center pillar - Azad still atop metang searches for trainers running into Frederick Ferdinand , and Vivian Valestein giving them his plan before dashing off the wall - Before making it he spots the meditite he was supposed to battle earlier and finds the broken ASHLEY LEE - Updates ASHLEY LEE on the plan before attempting to move her also asks her pokemon to help with the plan.

[nospaces] [attr="class","Vgentempbox"] [attr="class","Vgentemptitle"]event 001. third floor [attr="class","Vgentempdiv"] [break][break] Monitors on Floor 2 and Floor 1 switched on. It was loud enough for all upon those said floors to hear and was clear enough to see what was occurring upon Floor 3. Each monitor would, too, showcase the charts; whereas one focused on Thomas on stage. Thomas then spoke, "Code V's true reason, and why he was essentially created for the P.S.S. is so that we, Team Virus, can weed out the infected. Thanks to the Pokemon League's poor handling on the situation, it seems as though they've left us no choice but to take matters into our own hands." He began to remove the eyewear which donned his face, messy hair came to be slicked with just one swipe to the back. [break][break] "My name is Thomas Machiavelli, creator of Team Virus." [break][break] And with more murmuring, the male would state, "It is without hesitation, nor remorse, that I alert you all the following: The virus can be stopped, and halted; though, I don't believe you'll like the solution that we've come to terms with." The male forewarned, "It is by extermination, we terminate those who are too far within the research to save. Pokemon that have been infected are incurable; whereas those who are on the verge can still be saved--with this." Revealing to them what looked to have been a poke ball, the design was different. The spherical ball possessed purple outlines placed within a strange, whereas the color itself was black as a whole. "We refer to them as Glitch Ball's. These balls were created to steal the Pokemon of others, as well as capture wild Pokemon without any resistance. Our goal is to cleanse those Pokemon who're owned and those that have yet to be captured--the ones residing within the wild." Releasing the poke ball into the air, he'd release a Liligant before the crowd upon the stage.[break][break] "Liligant was on the verge of becoming tainted, but this ball suppressed the virus; though, not without side effects." the Liligant was merely standing still, mindless, as if though she were without purpose or personality. "These balls have a strong effect upon the Pokemon's mental stability, as the process of curing does not come without intense strain on the pokemon's physical and mental states. Once captured, you could say the Pokemon and the virus are under our control; ceasing any increase within the transitioning phase, though halting the Pokemon's self-awareness and erasing them of all reason." A narrowed stare that held not a lick of guilt.[break][break] "To put it simply, this Liligant is a mindless zombie that can't function without order." [break][break] As the Liligant remained still, he'd continue, "Though, as for the incurable. We're only given two choices: To put them down or to capture and lock them away. Preferably the latter option would be requested by many, but that's not an option Team Virus will allow. The extermination of these infected creatures is our utmost importance, or else--" He'd halt himself before saying anything else. Choking upon his next words, he'd tread carefully. "There is a way to control them as well, but that process isn't one I'm willing to divulge we're still in the testing phases of the procedure." Fixing his gaze back unto the chart, he'd continue onward, "The effects of the virus aren't harmful to humans, but its danger is in what it does to pokemon... Or rather, what it turns pokemon into. Infected pokemon gain, purple markings across their bodies; becoming far fiercer and more savage. Even typically passive pokemon seethe with rage and become rabid. In this state the pokemon becomes far stronger than it typically is, so strong in fact, that fighting these beasts with normal pokemon leads to almost certain failure or disaster." A vexed sigh would escape Thomas's maw, "After running its course through the host pokemon's body the creature promptly dies. We've experienced and studied this phenomenon of the infected pokemon within our custody; many of which have yet to succumb to the virus fully, but are currently exhibiting an uncontrollable rage. Coming into contact with any of these infected pokemon with your own can prove disastrous as it puts your own pokemon at risk to the disease." The people continued to murmur about, questions having yet to be asked by any. [break][break] "You're all probably wondering if Professor Madeline herself is in on this, she isn't. She's actually being detained by force, her whereabouts won't be made to the public. And by making this announcement, perhaps rightfully so, The Pokemon League will surely try to terminate our organization, our project and --our goal, unable to understand that what we're doing is for the sake of our people--not the Pokemon. Pokemon... are expendable, trust me..." Thomas stated, a hint of irritation visible on the male's face as his right fist tightened, "I would know." With more force passion in the man's eyes he'd speak further. "I'm willing to become an enemy of the Legaue, and even the Johto Region as a whole, if it means stopping the virus from spreading any further. If I must play the villain, I have no qualms with the role, Judge me if you must, but know this as you form your opinions looking down on me... on us--" He hesitated, only to slam his fist upon the podium, his voice filled with a fire none had yet scene. "I won't let anyone get in our way. Pokemon are expendable--Humanity is not. And if this virus isn't contained and destroyed before it spreads outside of the Johto Region? Then it's only a matter of time until the virus, evolves. I said that the virus's symptoms weren't harmful to humans, but I didn't say it was impossible for us to catch it. If left unchecked the virus will grow, it will evolve, and it will adapt." A hand would tighten upon the podium's edge once more as he hesitated his next words. [break][break] "With just a single command, I can permanently dismantle any infected pokemon caught by a glitch ball." he'd turn towards the Liligant beside him now, "Liligant, on my command, you will be given your final order:" Thomas would speak clearly hardening himself for the command. "Activate, Code V 107." The Liligant eye's body would almost immediately collapse any small flicker of light in its eyes fading before the lids closed entirely. "As you can see, once we capture them. We activate a command that places them under a heavy psychosis, in other words eternal slumber. Much like a computer we in a sense, the glitch ball infects the pokemon's root conscience, and with a command we can shut down the conscious mind of a pokemon permanently. This Liligant for all intents and purposes has died, and with its death another carrier of the virus has been put down." The Liligant was no longer capable of movement, an empty shell that was no longer functional. "As they say, that's the gist of our operation. And one of the many, functions of the Glitch Ball. For those of you asking, 'what's next' I've already told you our next objective. To cleanse the Johto Region entirely." Any sense of hesitation had long left the man's voice now. It was a lot to take in and many simply couldn't decipher just who was the real threat: [break][break] The virus or Team Virus itself? [break][break] "You may see me as a cold individual, but I'm just as human as any in this room. Perhaps even more so than many of you." A bold claim to be sure, "I won't subject you all to our inspection this evening, but you should know that at this time? You have the chance to make a difference. and only two options might I add: Join Team Virus or be prepared for your subjugation, because we will eliminate the virus, and moreover we will make the Johto Region great again. If I have to take the people's Pokemon, even the League's by force, I will with no qualms. There is a secondary way to stop this that simply isn't pratical, but we are looking into it. It's something you trainers can help us with as you begin and continue your journeys. : Find Patient Zero. There's a Pokemon that Team Virus is in search of, described to possess the body of a 'fairy'. for, ironically, it's code name is revered "The Fairy". It's a small being we're in search of, and it's believed that our region's esteemed Top Coordinator may have had an encounter with it; her Pokemon may have even become infected. As such, we will be taking her into Team Virus's custody. Thomas stated, looking toward the camera, "I have faith you've accomplished the assignment, Flare.." Looking at his wrist, he'd come to realize the time from his PokeGear. [break][break] "And it would seem as though our ride has arrived: Members of Team Virus, it is time to come out. You will be reached via your devices for our meeting on what is to come next, for now don't be too hasty. I'm sure I have dedicated members who're ready to take action at my behest, not for me, but for the sake of this region. The region we all love so dearly. Trainers, stay in touch and even more stay out of our way. Team Virus, we're leaving." As if to punctuate the announcement from above a crash would sound in the wake of the sound was a large hole through the roof of the tower leading straight into the third floor. Coming through the man-made opening was a ladder for the individual to escape from all the while Dropping from the same ladder were grunts ready to take charge had anyone tried to halt Thomas in his escape. "Oh, and don't worry, the Pokemon League are probably on their way as we speak; so you all have nothing to fear, they were notified a while ago, thanks to a few of you. I hope my associates haven't caused too much trouble in the meantime they have a difficult time holding back, until we meet again. I do hope we're not seen as foes, Zeref Sanders and friends; please, think about joining Team Virus, we could use youthful individuals such as yourselves." Thomas would then begin his climb to the helicopter, his grunts remaining at bay to watch out for any individuals that dared to take action in stopping him. [attr="class","smdbody"]azad's voice caused the young woman to stir, and forced her to raise her head to peer at him through a pair of wet eyes.
"az-ad?"
she rasped his name, her tone lined with the pain that presently lanced throughout her form. ash was positively littered with bruises that would grow darker with each passing moment, and she felt every single one of them.
"azad," she repeated.
he was here - he would help her. the woman felt only relief as he pressed closer, her gaze only shifting away so to take in the sight of her respective companions. they had remained close to her worryingly still form, and it didn't take the woman terribly long to notice that her meditite's eyes were just as wet as her own.
"don't be like that, rook," she breathed, attempting a smile. "'mm okay."
unfortunately, her lips would twist to form a grimace instead of a comforting grin as azad helped her stand. her broken limb was jostled on her way up, and she dared not look at it, for she feared she would grow sick if she even risked a glance. admittedly, she only half heard the silver-haired male's request, for ash had grown distracted by the amount of chaos that surrounded them on every side.
'oh, arceus.'
there were bodies of both pokemon and humans unevenly distributed upon the floor. it was as though they were dolls that had been carelessly thrown away and left to rot -
'i'm going to vomit.'
she gagged and forced herself to swallow it down, gasping for breath immediately after. ash was forced to rely upon azad to help her grow steady upon her own feet as she wavered.
"okay - okay - okay."
the woman tried to regain her focus, to force herself to think of what needed to be done. she needed to help - she needed to do something.
"bishop," she said.
her donphan blinked in reaction to his name being spoken, his head raised as he stared at his thoroughly battered mistress. it was only due to rook's timely intervention that he had managed to escape injury.
"make a hole in the wall," she said. "make it now."
bishop dipped his head in acknowledgement of the command, quickly curling into a tight ball before launching himself at the nearest wall. there was a tremendous amount of momentum built in a short period of time as his form rammed into the tower's side. wood and brick were destroyed upon impact, and a gaping hole would be left in the donphan's wake.
they had made an exit for themselves.
"we need to - "
ash felt a buzzing originate from her black purse. the lengthy strap of leather had allowed for it to remain properly secured during her fall.
"kyle?"
she had fumbled to retrieve it, and a look of astonishment had passed over her facial features the moment her brothers name appeared upon the slightly damaged screen.
"kyle!"
the woman nearly sobbed the name as she answered, pressing the phone to the ear; her brother was alright - not safe, perhaps - but fine enough to reach out to her.
"are you alright? are you still on the third floor are - "
once again she was interrupted by the appearance of a man. it took her a moment to realize the severity of the situation and to properly absorb the information that had been lain bare before them. ash had grown stiff and unresponsive, the display leaving her overwhelmed and dizzy.
"medi-tite," her pokemon murmured, helplessly clutching at the fabric of her dress.
tl ; r l
- ash let Azad help her up. she's confused and a little sick from the happenings around her. - bishop has helped create a makeshift exit in the wall. - ash responded to Kyle Lee 's call but stopped talking in the middle of her questioning. she has yet to hang up but has gone silent.

He was up and moving at this point. Dilla was working on finding others and trying to help put out fires before they could spread much further. While it did seem almost... Too difficult to try to process all this, he knew he had to. There was going to be nothing from here that was going to be easy any more. There had been some kind of attack, while this was not uncommon... This was rare in this kind of city. Bosco could see the main stone support beam was indeed having trouble. Despite the pain it caused, he reached into his torn jacket and pulled out one of the pokeballs. Someone was talking, making some kind of grand speech like the old style movie villain. At this exact moment, Bosco couldn't be asked to care. Tossing it out, Onix was summoned. The massive pokemon looked around for a moment, before her eyes fell upon Bosco, her trainer. There was all kinds of chaos all around them, water types, her biggest bane, were dealing with the fires, and she knew she was safe. This wasn't a pokemon battle, but appeared to be something else. Bosco raised up his hand and pointed at the central pillar. "Onix. Listen close. I want you to wrap yourself around the pillar, and hold it together for as long as you possibly can. I need to try to help people to get out of here. Go now." He called out, the large pokemon moving to wrap around the pillar and hold it for as long as she could. Tossing out the next pokeball, he could see the quick panic that formed in Pinsir's eyes. The fires, a bugs biggest weakness, were still all around them. Bosco waved his hand. "Relax. Dude. Relax. Help that one to make a hole in the wall, widen it as best as you can, and then wait outside for me." He said, pointing at Rook and then looking at Ash. She was busy, and he had things he needed to do. He needed to think but everything was blurry and his head was pounding. In all his time working as an engineer, he had never been so beaten around as this. Now was the time to start struggling his way to the freshly made door. He was not going to leave yet. "Dilla, do your best to put out any fire we come across. We need to keep this place as clear as we can for people to escape." He managed to get out, his vision blurry for a moment before finally snapping back into focus. TL;DR COMET -Bosco sent out Onix to hold the cracking central pillar and keep it from falling on all of them for as long as she can. -He also sent Pinsir to assist ASHLEY LEE 's Rook in making a hole in the wall. -He is not yet exiting, not until others are on their way out. -Dilla is doing the best his tiny self can to put out fires.

It didn't take long to realize that things were falling apart in every sense of the word. People were screaming and panicking everywhere, even the team virus members rushing for the door. The suggestion given to put a hole in the west wall was...interesting. On the one hand it would give people on the first floor a way out, but at the same time it could risk the structural integrity of the building and put the people left on the top floor at risk. The ranger gave no response to this for the moment, his mind still racing to decipher the best course of action for this situation. The moment the screens turned on Frederick went into action, pulling the final pokeball from his belt and releasing Squeak. The marill took in the situation with a smirk, already fully aware of what was expected of her. Still Frederick would call after her as he started to sprint off in the opposite direction, shouting the order over his shoulder. "Control the flames! Focus your efforts around the support beams!" The round rodent's entire body bobbed as she nodded in confirmation, quick yet confident steps leading her toward the nearest support beam which she would give a thorough soak. Not only to put out the flames surrounding it, but to dampen it and the area around it enough to discourage any more flames from creeping in. Meanwhile Frederick would meet up with the Yanmega, who was tightly gripping both Tiny and Wooly between his six long limbs. While Tiny still had a bit of fight in him, though not too much, Wooly was completely out of comission. "Good work, all of you. Leave the rest of this to Race, Squeak and I." Tiny started to squirm in Race's grasp as he realized he was being returned to his ball, growling and snapping at the insect as he demanded to be released. With a soft smile Frederick returned both of the creatures to their balls despite the protest. "Trust me, friend."All the while the message being played was being processed in the back of the ranger's mind, his eyes turning to the display a the man continued on. His gaze didn't leave the display as he calmly relayed his order to the pokemon. "If they're going to make a hole we might as well help. Tiny, use air slash on the west wall." Race bolted off to the wall where the other pokemon were gathering, his red eyes glowing faintly as he traveled. As he moved his wings would start to beat with greater intensity, a strong wind starting to stir up around him. Once he was closer to the wall he would turn his body to flap his wings toward the barrier, giving his wings one more strong flap to unleash a massive blade of wind toward the wall where the other pokemon were concentrating their attacks. Frederick however just stared at the screen with a peculiar smile, as if all of the chaos surrounding him had melted away. There was a look of recognition as he watched the man give his speech, like he was looking upon an old friend. Yet his fists were clenched and his muscles were tense, betraying his serene expression. "How interesting. I'm looking forward to this, my friend." He muttered softly under his breath, his amused tone betraying the intensity of the scene surrounding him. His gaze finally pulled from the display, calm gaze scanning the area for the next course of action. It was then that he spotted ASHLEY LEE speaking on her phone. Good, someone was contacting the outside world. Frederick quickly approached her, her words revealing that she wasn't talking to anyone outside, but rather someone on the third floor? ( Kyle Lee ) Upon hearing this Frederick would raise his voice, shouting to the injured girl loud enough that he could possibly even be heard over the phone. "A yanmega will be arriving on the third floor shortly to start air lifting out civilians. Tell everyone not to panic and that he will only be able to carry one or two people at a time."As much as he would have liked to help those trapped under the rubble he unfortunately wasn't properly equipped to handle that task. What he could do for now was ensure the safety of as many people trapped on the third floor as possible. With that he started to walk toward the western wall, walking at a brisk pace that almost seemed leisurely amid the surrounding madness. Something about the message displayed on the screen seemed to put the ranger at peace, seeming to relieve all of the pressure from the situation from him. tl;dr- Relsead Squeak (Marill) to use water gun to suppress the fire, primarily around the support beams, retrieved his pokemon injured from the fall, ordered Race (Yanmeaga) to use air slash on the western wall with the other pokemon, took a moment to listen to the message which seemed to somehow put him at ease, yelled at ASHLEY LEE and Kyle Lee that Race would soon be arriving to start air lifting people on the third floor to safety, moved toward the western wall and the hole being formed there 786 WORDS @event suddenly chill again THANK YOU MALIA TATE FROM ADOXOGRAPHY

clever as the devil but twice as pretty ____________________
As expected, things were going to hell - great. Vivian was over this shit - she really was. And then the damn monitors turned on. Perfect. Among the screaming of the frightened, the cries of pain of the injured, and building quite literally falling apart, a voice as calm as day spoke out to them. And man did it get her blood boiling. "For fucks sake, shut up, we're trying to live," the girl partially snarled under her breath even if it was a futile request, briefly rubbing under her forehead only to return with a hand lightly coated in blood. Oh. This was nice. She tried to block out what the stupid monitor was saying - but, it was kinda hard to, even with the chaos unfolding around them all. All this talk about Team Virus and some stupid solution they found...The more she heard the man talk, the more pissed off she became. Then the bastard had the nerve to threaten them? They were going to take their pokemon? "Oh, bullshit. You can try," she grumbled under her breath, deciding to tune out whatever else was said from there. If they wanted to fight - she'd be ready. She'd be craving it - and she welcomed the looming threat. But, for right now, she had more important things to worry about than some stupid wanna-be 'heroes'. The smell of burning wood and flesh was nauseating, and with chunks of falling apart building still dropping everywhere, staying in the tower was asking to be killed. They needed to get out. A voice to her side {Azad } spoke out to her in an urgent tone, giving out orders. While she wasn't exactly keen on taking orders from anyone, now wasn't the time to argue. "Got it." She gruffly replied. With a toss of a pokeball, she soon released Barbatos once more. "You see that," she pointed towards the western wall, where a few other trainers had gathered with their pokemon, desperately trying to break a hole through the thickened walls of the tower. "Use head smash - as many times as it takes. You're always acting tough, well prove it to me. Don't let me down." The cranidos hesitated for a moment at the icy, yet serious, tone of her trainer, but, nodded - for once seeming to listen. He let out a slight growl of agreement, the two maintaining eye contact before a moment before he dashed off to join the others. With an intense amount of power, the cranidos began to harshly ram his glowing blue head onto the wall in an attempt to break through. He'd occasionally falter in pain from the recoil of the powerful move, but, didn't dare stop - not even once. Heart beating wildly in her chest as adrenaline pumped through her, the girl let out a breath, trying to briefly gather her thoughts. Yes, the thought of going 'fuck it,' and being the first to leave definitely was a...frequent thought in Vivian's mind, she wasn't that selfish. "Arsene," she called to her ralts, who stilled looked a bit winded, but, ready to assist. For a pokemon who intensely felt the emotions of others, she was sure this was terrifying - overwhelming. "Hey - look at me. Focus on me." She demanded, trying to ease the ralts nerves. "Breathe. It's...kinda shitty right now. But, we're gonna be fine." The ralts shakily nodded, drawing in a breath before relaxing, calming his nerves before giving his trainer his full attention now, ready to assist. "....I need to rely on you for a bit, alright?" She soon said, and the valiant pokemon's eyes shined, perhaps happy that his trainer admitted to needing him. Despite this, he only gave a serious nod from where he knelt on one knee like an awaiting knight, waiting for commands. Within moments, the girl was helping in assist the other, non-trainer people who'd been wrapped into this mess and weren't dead. She used Arsene's psychic prowess to help in the falling debris, including moving it off of trapped people. It was a physically taxing job for the psychic/fairy type - she knew this. But, she also knew the ralts personal code of honor would prevent him from fainting until he knew he'd done his very best in helping these terrified people. Now, Vivian wasn't the...nicest form of rescue. But, she was efficient, at least. "Shut the fuck up and run." She shouted to people who gawked and screamed. These idiots just wanted to die, didn't they? "Not that way you damn idiot! Arsene!" A blue outline covered a person, nearly tossing them aside as a chunk of metal fell from a damaged beam that hung overhead. "You - get up, you're fine - get going. People, move!" She continued to snap at others, trying to get them going, and trying to get them to escape this hellhole. Tl;dr - Vivian's kinda pissed about the guy speaking. She's ready to fight a team virus bish- She, grudgingly, accepts Azad's plan and sends her cranidos to use head smash and help in making an exit- She comforts her ralts before using him to help in getting people to safety lifting up debris off of people or stopping debris from falling on them- She's also shouting at random people too [googlefont=Poiret One][googlefont=VT323]

"Yeah, it's me don't worry I've got you Ash it's gonna be okay."
The man would help ASHLEY LEE out eyes flickering from her to the carnage back to her. Thankfully the girl was alive and able to move, albeit with his help. He'd avoid looking at her wound the woman's blood dripping on his clothes as he stabilized her. Aros, Go an focus on the hole where the other pokemon are. Knock it through with a Meteor Mash. I'll be fine." The steel pokemon would give a final glance at their trainer before dashing towers the wall behind the donphan It's arm glowing with a steel sheen before slamming into the Wall alongside the myriad of other pokemon.
All the while Azad's focus was on the injured woman. As the two began to move the woman with her good arm would reach for her buzzing phone the woman answering immediately after seeing who exactly was calling. As he helped her the man would hear bits and pieces from the other end of the line speaking on the situation above. Azad hadn't even considered what was going on on the third floor and with the central pillar on the verge it wasn't looking too good. Still he had to keep Ash calm right now. "Stay focused. We'll get him out don't worry about it." Piercing green eyes would shoot to Frederick Ferdinand who managed to listen in. Giving the man a solemn nod before continuing towards the western hole with his injured acquaintance. I'll have my metang follow the Yanmega up it should be able to carry maybe three people down at a time."
As they neared the wall that was being torn away the researcher would eye the woman carefully. "You can make it out from here, the wall's going down shortly find safety and don't worry about that guy. we'll regroup later I'm gonna go see what I can do about the third floor." With that done Azad would call to his Metang when the opening's completed make your way to the top of the tower help grab survivors. Metang simply grunted before preparing itself. "I'll meet you on the outside. I hope through this that you see what strength is meant to prevent."
Azad would then do whatever he could to help out wherever he could first passing bosco who managed to stabilize the center pillar for a little longer. The man was definitely thankful for the unsung hero making a note to meet the man later concerning such a creative move. Passing that young man Azad would reach another. A blond haired boy on the floor trying to help another halfway crushed by rocks, and the young man sitting next to him.
"Oh. Oh no." Azad would quickly approach sliding down placing two fingers to the fallen boy's wrist checking for a pulse.
No response.
Wasting no time Azad would place his head against the man's chest for even the faintest heartbeat.
Nothing.
Azad didn't know how to process this, much less talk to the man's friend who sat beside him. He didn't have the time nor the expertise to convey that the man that sat in front of ALEC VON KLAUSS was dead. Still the silver-haired man is resolved to do something. And so his piercing emerald eyes meet the man's bright gold ones.
"We have to go." There was nothing else to say.

-Azad helps ASHLEY LEE up and begins to walk her to the hole being created. -Metang goes and helps work on the hole. -Azad listens in on the phone call with Kyle Lee making note to send Metang to the third floor -Azad agrees with Frederick Ferdinand to send his own pokemon up -Azad after getting ASHLEY LEE close enough to where the exit was forming would then tell her to find safety on the outside. -Azad runs through the smoke only to see bosco pull the most baller move with onix and is super thankful for the man -Azad finds ALEC VON KLAUSS and the corpse of DAMIEN VON KLAUSS and attempts to read any form of pulse -Azad tells ALEC VON KLAUSS they have to go.

- Upon creation of the hole Frederick Ferdinand 's (Yanmega) and Azad 's (metang) have made it to the third floor and can airlift up to 4 people out of the third floor until the next mod post.
- Thanks to Vash Parker the fires have slowed the consumption of the third floor however smoke his risen faster and it's becoming a bit more difficult to the breathe.

[attr="class","smdbody"]"they're sending help, kyle," she said.
she had begun trembling the moment he had mentioned fire and the little time they had. the faint scent of smoke confirmed that he was indeed telling the truth.
'if i lose my brother i swear i'm going to kill whoever the fuck is responsible for this.'
and even if her elder sibling made it out without a single scratch, she'd still make them suffer for her fucked up arm and the lives that had been lost here.
"t-they've got a yanmega a-and a - "
ash sucked in a breath, trying to calm herself. a terrible mixture of anger, loathing, pain and worry was causing her to pant and shake violently. she could barely trust herself to speak now - she needed to know kyle was safe and that he wasn't going to end up like one of these corpses -
"they're sending help," she repeated, unknowingly. "come back to me. i'll be outside. i'll be right outside waiting for you."
she didn't hang up, and kept the phone pressed against her ear as she raised her gaze up to stare at azad. his words left her feeling strange - and perhaps even a little bit irritated. despite the wisdom behind them, she found them to be inappropriate for a situation like this one. ash bit her lip, and would fail to respond as she stumbled through the hole her pokemon had created only a few moments ago. the fresh air of the outside world tasted so sweet.
"rook - oh, arceus. rook."
ash crouched before her fighting-type pokemon and lifted her up with her uninjured limb. the little fighter wrapped her arms around the woman's neck, burying her face into the crook ash's neck and murmuring softly in an attempt to comfort her distressed mistress. her donphan appeared at her side, staring worriedly up at the crumbling tower before encouraging the pair to distance themselves further from the ruined building.
"kyle, are you still there?"
the woman managed to turn on the phone's speaker with unsteady fingers, shouting into it in hopes her sibling would hear her clearly.
"did they make it yet?"
- ash tells Kyle Lee about the yanmega's movements.
- ash makes her way outside after splitting ways with Azad
- ash is now outside of the tower and is still speaking with Kyle Lee about the third floor's status.
