"Aye', bro. You see that dead ahead?" Chance points with an index finger straight ahead, hazel eyes upon a sunbathing Magmar laid out across a protruding rock. The Fire-Type hadn't noticed them approaching yet, so the two were in the clear for now. Poliwag lays little eyes upon the Fire-Type and nods a few times, head tilting up at the Trainer waiting further instructions if any would be given at all. "Growing up me and the other kids use to call one another Magmar Ass as an insult." He chuckles, remembering the good and simpler times. "Magmar is one ugly ass Pokémon, y'know? I mean they dead ass have asses for heads!" Chance further explains, causing the Water-Type to see things from his prospective. "And you see those flames coming up from the butt cheeks? Talk about a bad ass case of swamp ass! I mean Magmar's most have booty on the mind all the time, y'know what I mean?" Poliwag joins in on the laughter, truly finding the things being said quite funny and clever.

The Fire-Type didn't however, it heard everything and rose with authority. The bile having Pokémon looked directly at Chancelor, leaped from the rock, and began taking hostile steps in the Trainers direction. "Look at him! Look at him! Lookin' like he about to come over here and hit us with the meanest head fart attack this side of Route 45!" Tears flowed freely from the eyes of Chance, the laughter starting to become too much for the teenager to bare. An arm wrapped around his stomach and his head was leaned back, he howled to the heavens and any cosmic being looking down upon him, laughing like the mad man he was. Magmar, enraged at the belittling, charged Chance with intentions of burning him to a crisp. Poliwag however wouldn't allow any harm to befall his Trainer—The Water-Type leaped in front of Chance and dowsed the literal hot-head with a torrent of soapy and watery bubbles. Overcome by the biggest weakness to its typing, the poor Magmar reared back and let out a screech of pain and annoyance. It dropped to it's knees and did everything it could to protect itself from the watery onslaught. Poliwag took this typing advantaging and continued to dowse the Fire-Type until it was out, consciousness no more with its limp soaked body laying in the middle of the beaten path.

"Oh man that was a good laugh," Chancelor knocks away a few tears and levels foggy eyes upon the defeated Magmar with Poliwag standing over it victorious. "good shit, bro. C'mon lets go." He says winded, patting his abs with satisfaction with the Water-Type directly at his side.

Miles upon miles were traversed, and after hours of paced running, jogging, walking, and resting, the duo approached a massive tree which provide some much needed shade this extremely hot day. Poliwag would be the first to reach'salivation'—plopping down with exhausted legs and a slightly dried body that required a certain amount of dampness. Chance put a hand on the dried skin of the Water-Type and noticed this first hand. "Putting yourself through all this for me? You're a real one, g. Here you go, boss." He says bestowing a loving smile upon the little Water-Type—an entire bottle of water being used to hydrate the Water-Type by pouring the liquid upon it. Poliwag cried out happily, sinking back into the base of the tree as he enjoyed the much need rush of liquid rolling down his round little body. Chance took a seat beside his Pokémon, taking out a canteen and drinking from it, the water within almost gone. "We're almost through. Just one final stretch and we made it through, bro. Then we'll have all the water and food to eat in the world." Chancelor too sinks into the base of the tree, getting a little too comfortable considering he was doing this to complete a training challenge. "Now don't that sound ni-," barking from the left interrupted the words being spoken.

Two set of eyes glanced in the unified direction, a snarling little black dog stood leering at them, in an attacking position, barking madly with exposed canines. Chancelor sprung to his feet and so did the Poliwag soon after. "h-hey there, bud. Just chill out, yeah? We'll just keep it pushin', alright? No need to bite u-," more barking and snarling as a steady stream of fire ejected from the mouth of the hell hound skywad; a display of power to show it wasn't the one to mess with. Chancelor's eyes opened extremely wide, more-so out of respect for such an display of strength than fear or regret. Poliwag jumped in front of the Trainer, showing he was ready to fight if that is what Chance really wanted to do. The Teenager knew it'd probably be best to faint the hostile Fire-Type instead of trying to avoid conflict. Besides, it seemed like whatever he did, the little Houndour wouldn't allow them safe passage. "Take it out with a bubble, bro." The Trainer orders with a pointed finger aimed directly at the snarling beast keeping them pinned between a tree. Poliwag nodded before unleashing a watery stream of bubbles aimed at the wild Pokémon. Unmoved by the oncoming attack, the face of the Fire-Type was bombarded with bubbles upon bubbles. The wild Houndour tried to retaliate, but at this point it was too late for that. The watery attack made quick work of the hostile canine, rending it unable to continue by playing to the elemental advantage. "The little guy sure was territorial, huh? Lets go before more show up." Chance gestured for Poliwag to follow, taking the lead down the final stretch of beaten path.

Over the tree tops, Chancelor could see the rest stop—the end of this little challenge and the duo's salvation for good food and all the water they could drown in. However, something stood in their way blocking them from continuing down their final stretch. Another Fire-Type, this one with a pure white mane with flames coating the body in a majestic way. It only took Chance a moment to recognize the Pokémon for what it was. "Ponyta, huh? These wild Pokémon sure do like interrupting us, huh? This outta' be the last one we have to face tonight. You ready, bro?"

Poliwag jumped up and down in quick response, letting Chance know he was always down to clown—always willing to snuff out the flame of any Fire-Type foolish enough to jump in their way. The wild Ponyta cried out like the horse it was, before dashing at the duo with intent on trampling them. In unison and in opposite directions, both Pokémon and Trainer leaped out of the way just at the right moment to evade both hot flames and a powerful stomp. "You know what to do, bro!" He calls out to the Poliwag who is already springing into action, charging towards the Ponyta who is turning around to face the much smaller water-type.

Ponyta cried again and charged forward, flames ejecting from the mouth as it did so. Poliwag slyly weaved and ducked through the flames; using his advanced and unorthodox movements to do so. Once within striking range, the little water-type would slide through the legs of the fire-type an unleash a powerful stream of bubbles aimed at the underbelly of the rampant pony—dousing it in soapy and oily cold water.

Ponyta couldn't help but topple over from the brutal attack to it's underbelly. The wild beast cried in pain as it tried to pick itself up from the topple position. "You got the advantage, bro. Finish it!" Chance calls out again, a finger pointed to the exposed belly of the beast. Poliwag nodded before dashing over to the still neighing pony. Once within the needed range, the tadpole Pokémon unleashed a string of calculated slaps to the underbelly of the pony. Whenever Ponyta tried to counter, Poliwag would simply evade and dose the fire-type with more bubbles to tame the beast. this went on for roughly thirty seconds until the wild Pokémon tapped out—eyes becoming dazed as groans left its mouth.

The water-type went back over to his trainer after the rather easy victory and jumped up and down in excitement once again. Chance joined in on the jumping just to show he was proud of the little guy before gesturing him to continue to follow him to the end of the beaten path. This day would come to a close with a number of victories under Poliwag's belt.
