The second of three children, Azad was always overlooked by his family. He never had a place that was his own and generally suffered as the middle child throughout his youth. Never being able to keep up with either of his two brothers both had left home far earlier than he to begin their pokemon journeys. One in the years that followed became a famous battler and pokemon league runner up, even now he's sure his brother is fighting his way to champion status of some other region, while the younger was a contest star in Sinnoh. Azad never had the fondness for battling and competing that his brothers did because regardless of winning or losing he would always be the child his parents could live without. There was no trophy or victory that would turn him into the prodigal son, a pill he still can't swallow. Disdain for his situation led to depression and rebellious behavior, opposed to becoming a trainer Azad found solace in researching pokemon and the mythology behind the world's origin. And so while they took to gym leaders and contests Azad took to his studies. It was only at 18 that the man left for his own journey having started college the white haired researcher enrolled in the future professor course that was offered worldwide now. A pokemon journey that more relies and focuses on studying and researching pokemon than it did gathering badges or ribbons. Even now he travels on this journey to become an esteemed researcher attempting to break out of the massive shadow left by his much more successful brothers.[break][break]

Usually rather uppity, moody, stubborn and generally aloof Azad knows he can be a challenging person to get along with. Being seen as disposable over the course of his life has hardened the man to many of life's realities and as such he's extremely independent in fear that knowing and really caring about people will put them in a place to abandon him down the line. Alongside this myriad of trust issues and his generally negative attitude it can be difficult to get along with Azad, but still he tries to be cordial at the least upon meeting people. Those that survive his attitude and wit make for good companions and he's more often than not willing to share the latest details of his research with whoever is willing to listen. Extremely thoughtful with the few he considers friends perhaps out of a fear of losing them it's rare Azad forgets any obligation or any real event in a friends life because he treasures them so much. Their successes are his successes and while he may be prone to jealousy at times he'll always treasure the friendship more than any inner turmoil he's going through.

More like annoyances, Azad may not be the kindest, warmest soul around but he's certainly not the cruelest. Perhaps a bit blunt, and irritable at times Azad isn't one to hold minor grudges. If you hurt his pokemon or anything he holds dear outside of the context of a battle or something similar perhaps then he'll look to you as a full enemy. Even then if the man has enough time and space eventually he'll forgive, but it's rare that he'll forget, he may be forgiving, but he's not gullible. I'm more prone to put rivals in this category, those that challenge his beliefs and his skills as both a trainer and a researcher are more than welcome here.

Growing up with two brothers and spending most of his time with books Azad is extremely unfamiliar with the fairer sex and romantic engagements as a whole. He understands that he's good looking as his vanity doesn't really allow him to go out looking less than decent. That said for his harsher attitude, constant sarcasm and general bluntness he's embarrassed fairly easily by girl's who he perceives as cute and by a more than fair amount of skin showing many times even refusing to look at someone who isn't at least mostly covered up. He tends to catch feelings very easily, especially when someone shows interest in his work, or even just faith in his abilities as a while because he's unused to really support in any degree. That said, he doesn't really know how to be 'vulnerable' which makes it difficult to move forward. I'm super down for any romantic plots if only to break down, or even build up the insecurities the boy has.

Vivian's kinda similar to him, in the idea that she was supposed to be 'a child that amounted to nothing'. Now, her situation and Azad's is a bit different, but still, she can somewhat relate to the feelings of doubt he may have. Personality wise, they're a bit similar to the point of where I could possibly see them having a love/hate relationship - one that maybe starts off as a general disdain/dislike that becomes an actual friendship. A sort of, 'I hate you a little less than I did yesterday,' probably a bit more on Vivian's side, but, yeah!

She's a bit moody herself, so they may bump heads together quite a bit - especially because Vivian just loves to piss off people. She may or may not be salty that she totally couldn't fight his metang...and may or may not ~~stupidly~~ challenge him should she see him again. Like, legit, she already has a small dislike of him just because he's likely stronger than her + she couldn't fight him. She's a mess, ik ik. Honestly, This was a bit sucky because I'm like half dead rn, but, you can totally hmu on discord if plotting there is more your style!

Vivian Valestein & Azad

AYYY first thank you for plotting with me I been eyeing Ms. Valestein for a minute because she and Azad are so similar. It'd definitely lead to their fair share of interesting situations where she's just openly hostile, and he's extremely snarky throughout. I'd imagine in the beginning he'd just attempt to kind of avoid her, but Azad's too prideful to give Vivian any kind of satisfaction and so he doesn't avoid any interactions if only to get on her nerves like she gets on his. While these two but heads at every other opportunity there's definitely a sort of respect hidden for the girl after a few random meetups, and even more there are a more than fair amount of times when something comes up and they really just agree because of how similarly they move through the world. Maybe it's a mission that brings them together, maybe a gym, or maybe they just happen to wander into each other on occasion. I'd love to see how this relationship grows over time and if you'd like we can start a thread maybe a duo wild or something of the sort?

No problem! Oh, yeah, definitely. Vivian would likely hate to get outdone in a 'battle of snark', likely both being amused that he's actually going at it with her, but annoyed that he is at the same time. She'd likely be able to tell he's pretty strong just from the way he carries himself, likely because it's similar to herself, which might at least gain him a few brownie points there....Which would make her feel even more inclined to get on his nerves lol. The fact that they're so similar and can even manage to agree on certain things would be pretty shocking to her ~~and, once again, annoy her~~, but still, I can't wait to see where this go!

I do have a another double wild open for this week ~~even though its almost over because im slow af at replying to plotters rip~~! I think it'd be a great introduction for them to each other! I think I might already have a starter in mind already that's sure to get them off on a great foot ~~lol no~~. Was their any route/place in particular you wanna thread at, maybe?
