Eli had heard the rumors, the best place for ghost pokemon was route 37. So here he was, it was odd how beautiful the place was so green a alive, not the place you'd expect ghost type. At least not in Eli's eyes. In truth he didn't know why ghost pokemon had attracted him so much, probably for the same reason his cubone did. The fact that they share so much in common with Eli, their creepiness, the initial spookiness of them, as well as the misery behind their story. At the current moment Kibou, Eli's Cubone, was out of his pokeball and walking next to Eli. The small dinosuar like creature held onto a bright white bone in it's little hand. His eyes were fierce and purposeful. Kibou got like this sometimes, he was more serious than Eli most of the time, looking to protect Eli, to make sure his trainer, his friend was safe. [break][break]

"Kibou, lighten up a little bud. This is, after all, our day off."[break][break]

Kibou looked away with a small resilient puff. He must be in a bad mood... Suddenly the pair noticed a fire a short distance away. The two of them looked at each other and nodded, without saying a word they ran towards the place where the fire was to find a boy stomping out the burnt leaves and scolding his charmander. Eli stopped and stared at the pair. His head tilting in a slow and curious manner. "Do you always burn down places you go? Eli asked, his voice was dark, and eerie. His lips curved into a small curious smirk as he stared creepily at the trainer and his charmander. This was natural to Eli, to mess with people. To creep them out, to make them feel awkward. It was all things that Eli enjoyed to do to anyone he met outside his shop. Kibou had lost his seriousness and was actually trying to mimic his human friend. His little skull covered head tilting to the side and leaning down on the little bone. "Bone bone bone....[break][break]

"Wow, That was good." The boy complimented Eli, his black and red eyes darted towards the boy, his lips turning into a wide menacing grin as he licked his lips slowly. He was going to begin he usual thing, you know... being creepy. But the boy seemed distracted by something suddenly. Eli's eyes glanced back in the direction the younger boy was looking and saw two ghost type pokemon seemingly appear out of no where. Eli's dark eyes went wide as they lit up. "They're perfect!" He exclaimed excitedly.

Before Eli could make a move the other boy was already trying to interact with the ghastly. Eli's lips curled into a scowl as he glared at the boy who was completely focused on befriending the little gas pokemon. Eli wanted that ghastly, it was a pokemon that he had wanted for a long time, since his childhood. Eli's thoughts instantly went down to the virus ball he had hidden away in his back pack. He could easily take the pokemon for himself if he wanted to. But that would reveal that he was working with team Virus, and that would ruin all his plans. Plus, Eli wasn't into the whole stealing thing. He knew other members would steal pokemon to ensure containing the virus. But that wasn't Eli's method.

Saying that the ghastly had been spoken for Eli turned his attention to the other ghost pokemon. Pulling out his pokedex "Duskull wanders lost among the deep darkness of midnight. There is an oft-told admonishment given to misbehaving children that this Pokémon will spirit away bad children who earn scoldings from their mothers." Eli's lips twisted back into a wicked grin as he stepped forward. "Kibou, what do you think of adding that Duskull to our team, I think he fits in quiet nice doesn't he?" Eli asked his partner as he looked down at the little cubone.

The small pokemon's eyes narrowed as if looking over the duskull, The ghost pokemon was floating there, It's bright orb like eyes simply staring back at the cubone, all of a sudden the pokemon's shadow began stretching out, casting out past the little pokemon and two arms came out from the ground grabbing the cubone, Causing Kibou to jump and turn around swinging his bone club in a wild panic. "BONE BONE BOOOOONE!" The cubone cried out, The Duskull shook as it seemed to laugh at his prank on the little cubone. "Skull, Dus duskulllll~" The pokemon's voice was haunting as it laughed, it's voice seemed to echo out in a purr. Eli was even more in love with this pokemon now. He had to have it. "Okay Duskull I like you, Why don't you join me... If you can handle it, Kibou Boonerang!" Eli's low and dark voice had a genuine tone of excitement in it; which almost made it even more creepy.

In an instant the bone club was whirling through the air towards the duskull who easily enough dodged the attack, the ghost's body shaking as it laughed at the attempt, egging on the aggressive little cubone. This brought a devious smirk to Eli's face, watching his little companion getting flustered by this Duskull's jokes. The Duskull didn't attack back, it seemed it was more interested in pranks than actually battling. "Bone Rush, Show him what you got Kibou." As Much as Eli was intent on catching this pokemon, he was interested to see what it's techniques in battle were.

Kibou dashed towards the Duskull, faking an attack to the left before swinging to the right. The Duskull fell for the juke, trying to dodge the attack to laugh at the cubone instead it was met with a loud bang as the bone club crashed into the skull-like face on the pokemon. The rage inside the cubone let out as it continued it's flurry of attacks. One, two, three, four, miss. The Duskull was caught off guard by the flurry of attacks, but was able to recover in time to dodge the finally attack.

The Duskull's orb like eyes light up as it glared at the cubone excitedly "Kibou, dodge now!" Kibou instantly darted to the left as the Duskull let out a confuse ray, obviously still playing with the cubone and wanting to mess with it some more. Though the pokemon did look frustrated that it missed it's attack. " Respond with Double edge, have some fun with this Kibou" Eli said with a grin. The little cubone looked back at Eli with a low growl and piercing eyes. His cubone was always so serious, it liked two things: Eli, and protecting Eli. That seemed to be about it.

Kibou ran as fast as his little legs would take him and jumped straight at the Duskull, the two pokemon's skull smashing into each other, the two pokemon's eyes locking. Kibou's eyes looked fierce and determined, the Duskull on the other hand seemed to be enjoying himself, his eyes smiling... if that made any sense. Eli took the chance and grabbed the pokeball by his side and through it at the Duskull. "Come have some fun with us~" Eli said in his haunting voice. The pokeball hit the pokemon and brought the pokemon inside. The ball shook once, twice, three times. It seemed like the duskull was about to break out. But at the last moment the button on the front of the pokeball flashed red, indicating it had been caught. Eli slowly walked up to the pokeball and picked it up with a grin on his face. "Welcome to the family, we're gonna have to think of a good name for you little guy." Kibou crossed his arms and looked away defiantly with a small huff.

Eli looked over at the boy, his eyebrow raised. "Interesting way to catch that pokemon, do you always do it that way?" Eli asked, his head tilting to the side to show his curiosity. The boy was interesting, first setting the grass on fire, then simply talking the pokemon into a friendship. But then again, that's exactly how Kibou and Eli became partners. So maybe that's why this boy had peeked his interest now. But still, not enough to be actual friends with.

Eli's dark black and red eyes scanned over the boy as he explained how he had captured his Abra. It was rather interesting. Both Eli and the stranger noticed the two pokemon come up. Eli shook his head lightly as sighed lightly. "So pink..." Eli muttered as he looked down at both the pokemon. Eli watched as the boy took care of the snubbull. The small dog creautre who looked like it was wearing a dress. Eli turned to the Jigglypuff and his eyes narrowed. "Don't start singing...." He said as he took out his poke ball and threw it, sending out his new Duskull.

"Alright Duskull, Show this little pokemon the darkness. Use Shadow Sneak." He said with a menacing grin. The duskull looked back and nodded "Skulll~" The playful creature floated towards the fairy as it began to sing, suddenly fading into complete darkness, then appearing behind the little puff ball of a pokemon attacking it from behind with a small kackle. "skul skul skullll~" Eli's lips curved into a grin as he watched his playful pokemon mess with the little pokemon. The Jigglypuff's cheeks puffed out as it got angry since it's song was interrupted.

The little pink pokemon rolled in a ball at the duskull, who floated up causing the little pokemon to crash into a tree. "Dus dus dus dusss~" The Duskull kackled once more as it watched the dizzy little pokemon. "Use this to your advantage, confuse ray." Eli stated. A bright beam shot out as the little pokemon causing it's eyes to swirl in confusion. The angry fairy looking around before lashing out at a tree thinking it was Duskull, crashing into the tree and falling over in pain.

The small pokemon's cheeks puffed out once more before it ran off crying Eli almost felt bad. But that feeling quickly faded as the Duskull was proudly floating around Eli kackling lightly. It was all a game to Duskull, and he loved that about him. Eli reached out scratching his head lightly. "Good Job~ Kibou, what do you think of our new friend?" Eli asked turning to his cubone. The little pokemon crossed his arms and turned his head away defiantly "Bone..." Eli laughed softly before calling his duskull back into his pokemon. "You're gonna need to learn how to play nice ya know?" He said softly as he knelt down patting his Cubone's head.
