There was no real aim to being on the route other than getting her and her pups a good walk in. Who wouldn't want to get a good stroll out on a beautiful summer day like this?[break][break] A brilliant smile lit Natalia's face as she watched a flock of Pidgy fly from the trees she and Houndour had moved under. Houndour's ears perked up and she howled as they left, wagging her stubby tail a few times before jumping up and clawing at Natalia's waist.[break][break] Another warm smile was given by Natalia but this time it was direct at her Houndour. She bent down, moving her hands through fur and over a few of the skeletal surfaces on her Houndour's form. Once finished giving Houndour enough love, Natalia started down the route, motioning with her hand for Houndour to move ahead. in the palm of your hands [attr="class","newbg5"] Another relaxing day for the young bodyguard perhaps this would be a great opportunity to connect with his new comrades? With two Pokemon added to his team, the young bodyguard was finally able to complete his full Pokemon team. It was hard to believe it would take him this long to do but hey at least he got the job done right? [break][break] To get things rolling he has to figure out their fighting style and learn more about their personality. Ace was pretty easy to figure out, a Honedge who is in love with Malice the Misdreavus however the Misdreavus has her eyes set on Parsifal the Growlithe the poor thing. On the other hand it looks as if he shares a high respect towards Poseidon the Feraligatr. Maybe he should have Poseidon come out to train the little guy but in all honesty he’s been receiving far too much love so it’s best to give the rest of his Pokemon some time to bond with their trainer like Lancelot and Chomper for example. It would be great to have all three of them out if it weren’t for Parsifal. The pup hates being in his pokeball and has to be by his side at all cost. He was grateful enough the pup allowed him to hangout with Poseidon at one piece but that was because they were at Lake Rage and Parsifal hates getting wet. The only other Pokemon he has yet to figure out is Chomper. [break][break] Zeref looked down at his dragon type Pokemon trying to figure out his personality and what makes him different compared to the others. For example Parsifal likes to dance, Malice acts like a detective, Poseidon acts just like his trainer, Ace is in love with Malice and yet the only two he has yet to figure out is Lancelot and Chomper. The Ranger would tap his chin as he made his way down Route 31 with Chomper, Ace, and Parsifal by his side. Ace the Honedge decided to attach himself to Zeref’s belt making it easier for the ghost type Pokemon to keep up with the rest of the team. [break][break] “I have yet to figure you two out.” Zeref would say while scratching his head. “I mean I’m certain you and Lancelot have some sort of trait in yeah but what exactly is it? Maybe I should return home one day just to figure it out myself or introduce them to something.” The Ranger tapped his chin as he thought about it and would bend down to pet his dragon on the head when it rubbed up against his leg waging it’s little tail. “Well for now the three of us need to get some training done. Alright let’s do it perhaps we’ll meet someone new today right?”[break][break] The pup nodded his head at that idea however his ears perked up and the moment Zeref noticed this he prepared himself for the chase. It looks as if Parsifal picked up an interesting scent but the question is what could it possible be. Zeref thought it was going to be a Butterfree but when they got closer to the goal, Zeref couldn’t help but stare at this strange sight. The pup was running towards the other two dogs like Pokemoon a Houndour and a Poochyana. “Oh this is new.” Zeref said as he slowly approached the female giving a small wave. “Hi there I’m not used to Parsifal wanting to hangout with other dogs. I hope you’re alright with them hanging out for a little bit?” Parsifal wagged his tail with his tongue hanging out however the Ranger couldn’t help but to narrow his eyes at this strange sight. She wasn't too far behind her pup simply out of - what her male Houndour would call - annoying over-protective mother instinct. Even she knew to a degree that the pups would have to grow without her, move forward without her, and eventually, she would rely on them far more heavily than they currently relied on her. But for now? For now, her worry was justified. At least, it was in her own opinion. In her male Houndour's?[break][break] She had her male Houndour tucked away in her pocket, looking up and at the one that her female Houndour had sniffed out. Seeing the cute little Growlithe had a warm smile moving over Natalia's face. In Kanto, she'd trained a lot of Growlithes for the police force and seeing one always brought a happy and warm smile to her features.[break][break] "Be nice, Houndour." Her voice may not have seemed stern to strangers, but it had Houndour straightening up a bit and sniffing curiously at the Growlithe she'd encountered. Seeing the behavior that this new Growlithe showed, Houndour couldn't help but feel like she needed to be more professional. Even if she sort of wanted to play around with the newly found pup.[break][break] Natalia moved her attention up to the boy the Growlithe belonged to. Oh. So short! Well, compared to her, anyway. Honestly, Natalia was used to being a good foot above most of her friends. Finding somebody of equal height, like Silas, was honestly a breath of fresh air. She wasn't the only giant out there, thankfully.[break][break] "Houndour's incredibly social. Maybe she's just more approachable than most other canine Pokemon Parsifal's been introduced to? Most canines come off really protective and stand-offish if they're raised differently." Without another moment passed, Natalia lifted her hand in introduction and smiled.[break][break] "This is Houndour, and I'm Natalia." Her eyes fell to the dinosaur. "Oh, wow." Then she shifted them to the sword at the boy's side. "You have a few rare Pokemon with you, hm?" Perhaps this was a good way to see how Parsifal acts around other dog like Pokémon. Knowing his pup he is normally sassy and bossy but it seems that’s slowly starting to die down making Zeref place a smile on his face. His pup can be sassy if he wants but just not as bad like it was previously. The male placed his hand on his hip before bending down to his partners height. “Go on Parsifal enjoy yourself.” [break][break] Parsifal nodded his head circling around the pups and running a little ways away hoping they would follow. Zeref on the other hand was having a hard time watching this it felt like he Parsifal was a puppy all over again. If only Poseidon was out of his Pokeball to see this. “This is way too weird I guess that makes sense. Parsifal is normally the bossy and sassy type so this kind of threw me off. I wonder if it’s because he hasn’t really hung out with other dogs much.” Its weird though since they normally hangout with Kyle and his dog type Pokémon. Maybe it’s because they’re bigger and these two are around Parsifals height? [break][break] The Ranger wasn’t sure but he decided to shrug it off for now. He accepted Natalia’s hand while giving a slow nod. “Nice to meet you I’m Zeref Sanders. The sword is Ace, the dragon is Chomper, and you already know about my pupper over there. I caught these two at the Safari. They have different kinds of rare Pokémon over there you should definitely check it out once you save up for it. It takes some time to train dog type Pokemon but from the looks of it the Ranger could tell she is doing a fantastic job. Zeref nodded his head with his arms crossed. “Very impressive if I do say so myself. I could tell they’re well trained.” The Ranger would turn his head over to his Growlithe and the moment he did, the ginger head gave Natalia a small wink. “You might want to look at this.”[break][break] All you could see was Parsifal wagging his tail and giving off a small bark to grab the pup’s attention. The pup would say repeat after him before placing a paw over his other paw. If one of them fails the pup would giggle at this sight with his tail wagging back and forth. Then he would do his little dance, placing his paws over the other a couple of times before twirling on his head like a Hitmontop then back onto his paws doing a little twist here and there. [break][break] Zeref couldn’t help but to smirk at this sight enjoying his time watching his pupper dance on his paws like a pro. “Great work Parsifal but you need to learn to change up those dance moves a bit.” Zeref informed him after realizing Parsifal uses the same movement whenever he does his little dancing skills. Parsifal lifted up his ears after noticing this heck the pupper didn’t even realize he was using the same dance moves over and over again. This is going to be a problem it’s difficult to dance on four paws heck Zeref was surprised to see a confused look on Parsifal’s face. “Uh we’ll figure it out.”[break][break] The Ranger would say before turning his attention back over to Natalia. “Parsifal likes to dance you see but he’s been using the same movements so it looks like he needs to change up his creativity a bit. Now for the Safari thing if you don’t have the money for the Safari I can always grab a Pokemon for you!” Zeref would say giving another wink. “I don’t mind at all heck I go there quite often actually.” [break][break] It was a bit too peaceful right now and Zeref knew at some point in time a wild Pokemon would show up to ruin the fun. This is why he waited patiently enough for one of his new comrades to pick up the Pokemon’s scent however seeing how they’re new he wouldn’t expect them to pick it up right away. Parsifal noticed the instantly his trainer did his tail lifted up and his eyes narrowed. The pup was about to alert the crew until Zeref decided to shake his head causing the pup to stop in his tracks. The moment his team heard bushes shaking nearby was when they caught on! Chomper was the first to make the move turning his head to see a Plusle and a Minun coming out from hiding waving their arms around ready to attack the two trainers. “Chomper will take out Plusle.” Zeref informed her before stepping up to his Pokemon giving him a slow nod. “Chomper since your new I’m going to work by your side for the next few encounters then you are on your own.” [break][break] Zeref knew this would be difficult for the rock type Pokemon it seems to be very attached to him from the looks of it. The Ranger wouldn’t be surprised having the little dragon type Pokemon refusing to leave his side during their bodyguard training. “Alright let’s start off with BITE!” The Dragon rushed forward with his jaw wide open ready to slam his teeth right into the electric Pokemon skin however the moment he did the Pokemon was knocked out instantly! Zeref couldn’t help but to blink at this sight. “Well that was quick and I’m low on berries so I can’t give it a berry to recover it whoops.” The Ranger sighed while scratching his head. “Good job Chomper maybe the next one will be a little stronger?” So he hopes because that was way too easy gosh he feels like that trainer that he met awhile back. Natalia knew that touching the little mice Pokemon would lead to possible paralysis if they got close enough, so she tossed out both of her Houndours and motioned for Poochyena to stay back. "Alright you two." She pointed toward the target Pokemon before letting out a whistle. The two Houndours took off in sync with one another toward the leftover Pokemon. It tried to urge them to PLAY NICE but both ignored the notion. A whistle from Natalia had each letting out a long distance attack. First was a SMOG from the female Houndour, then the male let out an EMBER attack.[break][break]
The little mouse Pokemon let out a cry, turning to ask it's friend for a hand but then suddenly it realized that its friend had been basically chomped to death. Immediately it was cowering away, but the pups were back at a simple whistle from their trainer. Another round, but two EMBER attacks this time. The mouse gave a cry before immediately retreating to the body of it's fainted pal, pulling them back with them into the woods to either recuperate or regroup.[break][break]
Natalia snapped her fingers, her pups coming back to her sides. Both Houndours sat at her sides, one on each, while Poochyena chewed on a rock. She'd loved watching that big thing chomp down, which had her wagging her tail and making her way over to the dinosaur and biting the air, like asking it to show her that big powerful chomp again. Seriously, it was dreamy.[break][break]
Natalia let out a laugh before putting a hand on her hip and shaking her head. "That Poochyena's got a long way to go, let me tell you. I feel like her maturity is going to be based solely on her evolution, you know?" She couldn't have been more proud of her pups, bending down to give each a scratch behind their ears proudly. "As far as well trained, these two are quick on the pickup. Poochyena... just sort of likes to chomp on things." Natalia laughed.[break][break]

in the palm of your hands [attr="class","newbg5"] So that encounter was pretty easy but it wasn’t too bad right? Well this one is going to be fun Zeref can tell you that much. After an adventures battle a Fearow was flying above them in the big blue sky however, the bird came rushing down with its beak ready to go! Now mind you this bird was trying to do a sneak attack but little did it know Zeref is a bodyguard and this guy is always well prepared for a sneaky attack like that. Imagine trying to protect something extremely important and you end up in a similar situation like this. Sometimes the Ranger wonders if his family taught him to be a bodyguard or actually a ninja. [break][break] “Chomper!” The Ranger called out as the little dinosaur like Pokemon launched himself into the battlefield ready to beat the shit out of this Fearow and at that right moment CHOMP! In front of this Ranger was dinosaur sinking it’s teeth right into the giant annoying ass bird and the moment it did, the bird would flail around trying its hardest to get this thing off her. [break][break] Zeref on the other hand scratched his chin at this sight. “Chomper your not supposed to eat thing what are you doing?” The Ranger sighed jumping into the air to catch his partner after the Faerow tossed him out of its way. Angry, the bird came rushing at both of them using the move AERIAL ACE and Zeref knew instantly that was going to hurt like fuck! “SHIT!” [break][break] So this wasn’t supposed to happen heck he wasn’t expecting to be right in the middle of the battlefield. Sure he wanted to ask them permission to fight his Pokemon but he wasn’t expecting this. Now mind you it’s not as bad as it may seem. To recap yes an AERIAL ACE came rushing at him with full speed but Chomper knew he had to protect his trainer at all cost. The Dinosaur didn’t have time to knock his trainer out the way so deciding to go with plan b the dinosaur jumped right in front of him so he can get hit by the attack inside. Now here is the downfall though the dinosaur was very close to his trainer and the moment he got hit so did Zeref. [break][break] In the end Zeref felt the piercing wing slicing across his arm but thanks to Chomper it wasn’t major like a flesh wound sort of say. Instead all he got was cut marks slicing right through his skin and a slight bit of blood coming out during the process. Even after getting struck by a powerful AERIAL ACE, Zeref wasn’t going to let that tumble him backwards. He stomped his left foot to the ground, turned his whole body to use as some sort of cushion for his dinosaur so that way the little guy doesn’t fall to the rough ground. The Ranger smirked lifting up his right arm to wipe off the slight bit of blood from his face while using his left arm to hold onto his partner in crime. “Not bad you’ve nearly made fall off my feet impressive.”[break][break] Parsifal was about to barge right into the fight until Zeref kicked in. The pup’s trainer lifted up his hand telling him and Ace to stay back. Parsifal let out a low growl but a few seconds later would lower his ears after seeing the look on his trainers face. A grin was displayed on his face and he showed determination in his eyes. “Since you want to play it that way then let’s have some fun shall we?” The moment Zeref pointed his finger at the Fearow was when Chomper made his move and man was the dinosaur pissed off for the bird. “CHARM then uses ANCIENT POWER!” Making a charming gaze was pretty easy for Ace but for Chomper not too much but hey it still worked right? Doing this lowered its attack stats and the best part of all summoning a circle of ROCKS! Yes a bunch of rocks appeared and every damn one of them SMASHED right into the damn bird making it fall flat to the ground! When the bird tried to get back up it found itself surrounded by all three of Zeref’s Pokemon. Oh dear Zeref better stop this before things get ugly. The Ranger shook his head, tossing the bird an Oran Berry. “Eat that it should heal you up. Now then back away boys I’m okay that was a good practice.” [break][break] Lifting up his arms, the young bodyguard would stretch out his arms and legs however it was cut short after feeling his Pokemon eyes staring directly into his soul! “I said I’m fine seriously.” The Ranger moaned lifting himself upward to crack his neck. “Natalia those birds are tough and annoying so you better keep your eyes open.” He would lift up his left arm into the air as he tried to demonstrate what the Fearow did to him earlier. “They like to come in like this whoosh!” Zeref would move his arm downward like a diving airplane. “And then it’ll be game over just like a ninja. Natalia watched as the ginger was attacked by a Fearow. She snapped her fingers so that her pups were close to her. Each obeyed, moving closer to her and standing at her sides, growling and ready for an attack. If it was needed. What she saw astounded her. Zeref somehow seemed to get himself into trouble. By that, what is meant, is that Zeref seemed to get hit with a near full on Aerial Ace![break]
"Are you alright?!" She called out, but instead of worrying about himself he'd told her there was an incoming bird on her end. She clenched her fists and pointed toward the bird. "Double EMBER!" She instructed.[break][break]
Each Houndour took off, moving toward the bird. The female fired first, missed, and then the second which was fired by the male Houndour nailed it. As the bird came back down to the ground, trying to regain its strength, the female fired yet another EMBER at it which caused the poor thing to flap its angry wings. The female lured the Spearow's attention, backing away. The Spearow used PURSUIT, keeping on the female Houndour before attacking her. The second it landed, the female Houndour purposed to allow the attack to hit her fully, sliding her away from the Spearow. In it's false victory, the male Houndour was able to use EMBER yet again, landing a critical hit that knocked the bird right out.[break]
Knowing that their trianer wouldn't like a fire started, they both went to work putting out flames. Only they could prevent forest fires, she'd told them countless times.[break][break]
Natalia watched her battle while making her way over to Zeref. They handled the bird well, returning to her and sniffing at Zeref as well to see if he was okay.[break][break]
"That was a bold move," Natalia frowned. "Are you feeling alright? That looks terrible... we should get you to a Pokemon Center to be seen. But, until then, I've got some first aid if you're interested." Her tone clearly suggested he should be interested... like he had no other choice. He did, of course, but she'd frown at him if he denied the help.
