It took no time at all for the first 'interference' to occur. Coming from the salty water of the ocean would be a Kingler, heading directly for the sprinting party. Pikachu lays eyes on the much larger Pokémon and springs into action. He quickly approaches the wild Pokémon with the large and heavy pincer. The electric mouse allowed the wild Kingler to have the first strike, because he knew once that over sized pincer was in motion, it'd be impossible for the Kingler to stop all the momentum gathered. The heavy pincer descended down upon the adorable little mouse, akin to a hammer; if this attack would have landed, Pikachu surly would have been down for the count simply due to his much smaller size and how much bigger and physically powerful this wild Kingler was. However, Pikachu remained one step ahead, so, when the massive bludgeon descended down upon him, he evaded flawlessly, but as he did this, roughly fifteen afterimages surrounded the Kingler—each image perfectly synchronized with the movements of Pikachu.

Kingler simply tried to attack each afterimage with its usual clumsy movements due to the sheer weight behind the massive pincer. Though, each attack hit nothing but air with one of many afterimages fading away into nothingness. From behind Kingler is where the real Pikachu ended up, and when the time was right, he attacked. Channeling all the electricity within the pouches of his cheeks, a massive bolt of thunder conducted from the much smaller Pokémon and flew directly at the wild Kingler with break neck speeds. This attack was all it took to take down the Pokémon—the damage done catastrophic; leaving the Water type burn't, paralyzed, and numb. Kingler topples over once the attack fully ends, crustacean body stiff and motionless as it slowly lost consciences.

"Holy fuck!" The 'fearless' Fighter booms as the Gas Pokémon emerges from the defeated Kingler with a long and undead tongue taunting the duo. The youngest McQueen feared nothing this world had to offer in terms of frights, but that didn't mean the thought of a wild Haunter cursing him for the rest of his life was something to scoff at or dismiss for myth. "Thunderbolt!" He barks with haste, an order to attack Pikachu hadn't received in months prior to both him and Chancelor beginning their partnership. However, the adorable little mouse can't help but notice the 'frantic' tone in the words of his Trainer, so the Electric type springs into action and zaps the spectral Pokémon with a powerful spear of thunder. The strike hits the mark, Haunter fading in and out of the realm in which all three of them currently stood—fading between the realm of the dead and the realm of the living.

That was until it appears directly behind Pikachu, eyes flashing an insane amount of colors in an attempt to put the mouse into a deep daze which would turn into an even deeper slumber. Pikachu swiftly turns around and zaps Haunter with another Thunderbolt before succumbing to the effects of the potent hypnosis. Chancelor took note the Gas Pokémon could no longer faze between the realms, the effect of a paralyzed form keeping it stuck in the realm of the living. "Wild Charge this fucker!" Pikachu allows all the electricity coursing through his body overcharge all his senses and muscles. Now glowing a bright yellow from the current of raw power, he dives at the Haunter and tackles the gas body of the wild Pokémon. He fazes completely through Haunter; throw the collection of gas that made up the form of the Pokémon, only to land in the sand; sliding to a halt a few meters away. However, despite this attack going through the gas body of the Haunter, the damage had been done and the Ghost Pokémon faded away slowly; tongue dangling freely, spreading across the sand like a carpet. Slowly descended to the ground, before the 'body' of the ghost hit the sand, it'd fade away into nothingness; leaving the duo alone... Hopefully.

"Always tryin' to rain on our parade." A racing heart began to slowdown—back down to a steady crawl prior to the physical activity before hand. While Chancelor gathered his barrings, Pikachu's attention was fixed upon something in the sky, flying overhead, shaped like an over sized bird or something similar to that. The adorable electric mouse tilted his head to the side while the unknown object descended down upon them. Chancelor finally takes notice of this and fixes his vision skyward, towards the shadowy Pokémon overhead descending down upon them extremely slowly. "That's a big ass fish..." The Fighter says, gesturing for Pikachu to zap it out of the sky before it could attack them. He complies with a spear of thunder traveling skyward and zapping the massive beast out of the sky. This attack did catastrophic damage due to the wild Pokémon's typing—Water and Flying made it easy picking for the much smaller Pokémon that was Pikachu. It wailed loudly before crashing to the sand, fins burn't and fried as it slammed into the sand with a massive collision.

"It'll be alright. C'mon, lets keep going." Chancelor begins to sprint down the beach yet again, leaving the defeated Mantine in the sand to recover from the spear of thunder it took head on. Pikachu follows beside the human, shrugging off the battles for what they were and prepared himself for even more unforeseen encounters.
