she didn't enjoy choosing partners for things like this. often enough she chose poorly. that, or, she'd reveal a little too much about herself and, well, no fun later. things like that had happened a bit too many times for her taste. whoever said men love a little crazy obviously had no met reagan.[break][break]

As trainers are guided to their assigned cabins, a message is played over the intercom that will proceed to interrupt any ongoing conversation with its loud buzzing. “Attention passengers: your Subway Bosses are speaking. The train is about to leave the station. Please stand clear of the closing doors. If this were an ordinary evening, we would advise our passengers to remain seated as we depart...”

Another voice, similar to the other, continued. “...But that's not the case for tonight, now is it? The Magnet Train is now en-route to Kanto. While you are on the Magnet Train, please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times. Your pokemon are now free to wander outside their capsules for the remainder of your stay... We look forward to meeting all of you in due time. But only if Noodles can keep posting for the event, of course.”

The train lurched forward, suddenly powered by a force that will carry it from the bright lights of the Circuit Circus. Within moments, the city will become a speck in the distance, and the scenery will become a blur for onlookers that choose to glance out the windows. The cabin trembles from the force, and suddenly it makes sense why these departures are usually done with everyone seated...

At the other end of the train car, a red light is flashing. The clear sliding door appeared to be locked, preventing anyone from traversing between cabins. It is only when the train reached its perfect cruising speed that the light switches to green, and the doors to the next cabin slide open.

The first challenge awaits.

This wasn't part of his job description. As the doors unlock and slide open, the scruffy janitor looks at the both of you with a mop in hands. He hasn't started his job, because the cabin looks like an utter disaster; someone must have just finished a battle in this cabin, because there's scorch marks all over the walls and the carpet. He grumbles something unintelligable under his breath, realizing that this was an inturruption he'd have to deal with.

"...Guess it's good I haven't mopped yet," he fetched two pokeballs from his waist, "because I'm gonna wipe the floor with both of you."
