[nospaces] [attr="class","Vgentempbox"] [attr="class","Vgentemptitle"]Writing Prompt Challenge [attr="class","Vgentempdiv"] Alright! So I have been wanting to put out one of these events earlier, but for some reason my sleep schedule got jacked and it was delayed. In the end, here you go: The first of many; Nova's Writing Prompt Challenge! The rules are simple, --follow the prompt(s), but be creative as you want. You can include special templates, images, references, etc. There will be no definite winner, and everyone will earn rewards, however staff may give out bonuses to posts they deemed the most likable. [break][break] I will be putting out THREE prompts, you may choose ONE to post about in a reply to this thread. However, I will include a prompt that can only be taken by individuals that participated in the previous event. --The other two are a free for all. [break][break] FAQ: "But Nova can I do 'this' with the prompt?" [break] Answer: BE AS CREATIVE AS YOU WANT! [attr="class","Vgentempheader"]The Prompts - You are writing a letter to someone about your recent travels and adventures. This person can be parents, grandparents, friends, distant relatives, a pen pal, or even a stranger.
- Recently you have come to Cianwood to spectate on the contest. However, it seems that there is much more going on this island than just the contest. Many natives are preparing for the upcoming summer festival and a desperate citizen is requiring your aid with something.
- The fall of Madatsubomi Tower is still fresh in many of the victim's minds. Just how are you coping? What recent actions have you taken post event?
[attr="class","Vgentempheader"]The Rewards Everyone that completes a prompt (with staff confirmation) will be rewarded with: - 3000 pokedollars
- Skull Fossil ( and before people ask, this is an item that will come into use in the future. So just don't ask.)
- 1 free safari ticket
[break][break] Like said prior, any extra bonus rewards will be handed out by staff to those that went above and beyond with their prompts. to: the current champion pokemon league, mount lanakila, ula'ula island, alola To Alola's first and newest Pokemon League Champion,
Firstly, congratulations. I'm very happy to hear that your pursuits in trainerdom have been so successful so soon, and I hope that your future endeavors are just as successful. Be sure to keep a calm mind and an open heart, as responsibilities can be challenging, especially at a young age.
I am formally mailing you this letter as a result of Lillie's efforts to rehabilitate me after the incident. She believes that if I am able to conduct myself in an orderly manner in a conversation with you, as I claimed I could, then it would be proof towards the betterment of my health.
In which case, think of this as a tryst. Or, if you are uncomfortable with that term, then a rendezvous, perhaps. A friendly conversation between the two of us through letters. Fun, is it not? In any case, I suppose it is only polite that I inform you of what I've been doing in my absence.
After much legal effort and personal struggle, I was able to obtain a trainer's license as a Ranger for Interpol. Sadly, I did not regain my Pokemon (who, as you know, were detained and confiscated after our little crisis), but I considered it a step forward, nonetheless.
Since Lillie has decided to take up her adventure in Kanto, the Foundation (specifically Gladion, from I have heard) had decided to allow my journey to start in Johto, where Lillie may contact me easily. And apprehend me swiftly, I suppose.
Don't take that as bitterness, it's not, I assure you. I understand these things.
I have, as of late, procured a Beedrill, a Granbull, a Wobbuffet, and a Lunatone. The regional Pokemon are quite a sight, and there are far more Pokemon here, than in Alola. I, myself, was quite surprised by the vastness of species in this region.
However, I have not decided to challenge any Gym Leaders yet. I wish to catch a full team, in order to have coverage for the many challenges I'll face, if I consider taking on the League. I'm sure you understand, given you're the Champion, after all.
Actually, if you have any tips for professional training, then that would be splendid. I devoted my entire life to Aether's cause, so now that I've been set on a new direction, I do find myself somewhat perplexed at times, and somewhat directionless. I'd be very grateful, especially, for an analysis of weaknesses and strengths in people such as Gym Leaders, the Elite Four, and perhaps fellow Champions of whom I'm sure you've encountered.
In any case, it seems I'm digressing. I only wish that I have more human companions, in any case. Traveling between cities tends to be somewhat dull, in my opinion. Battling is exciting, but it sometimes becomes samey and bland, if you do it too much, which I often do, on the routes of Johto.
Making friends is, naturally, very hard for an old woman like me. Most are too young, and the rest are simply uninteresting. Besides that, a few people seem to have picked up on my past using sheer instinct.
Imagine that. Just knowing that I seem to be, in ways, villainous, as somebody described me the other day. How utterly strange.
Perhaps, to rectify this situation, we can become friends! Pen pals, would be the term. I know Gladion would rather I not contact him for an undefined amount of time, and Lillie always seems busy when I try to contact her. Maybe you can be my open door? If not, then I'm also perfectly understanding of that, as well.
I suppose, from now, I'll simply keep training, and perhaps fulfill my job as a Ranger when duty calls. I am hoping to get that full team, after all. Who knows? Perhaps I'll come back to Alola and challenge you.
Do you think it will be marketable if we call it a grudge match? Probably not. I'll think of it as one anyways. It would intensify the atmosphere greatly, and really, that's all I want.
It's becoming late, and I do want to get up at an early time tomorrow. I earnestly await your response, and any news that might come from Alola. Do your best on the metaphorical throne!
After all, I'll be coming for you.
Yours truly, 𝓛𝓤𝓢𝓐𝓜𝓘𝓝𝓔 Lusamine Aesir President of Aether Foundation

Rout 47 i think
uh, june 20th 2k18 bay bay!
Dearest stranger,
Please, before reading this I must asks you forgive my lack of penmanship and even greater lack of articulation of my words. I’ve never written a letter before, but writing is the only activity that takes my mind off of the journey I’ve had so far. I haven’t seen much in my travels, but I implore you to read this letter and write me back with great urgency as I do not know how long I will be in this fine city and a pen pal would be a great help to calm my weary nerves.
All of that said, I hope this letter finds you well. Personally, I do wish I could be in better strengths as I write to you. My team has yet to harden and I’m afraid my faithful Machop will need to retire from battle soon before he ends up much like the burned tower of sweet Enju city, a shell of its former self haunting the cast of who it once was. Tell me, stranger, are you a trainer? How would you deal with such an unruly Pokemon? No matter how much I bid him to rest he continues to fight and I’m afraid this will all soon come to a bitter end. Perhaps I could send him to you? Would you like that? Ha ha. I shouldn’t get ahead of myself like that. He is still my partner and I will stick with him till the bitter end... No matter how soon it comes.
Ah! But enough about that sick old Machop~ The guy I’m forcing to help me write this keeps telling me he needs to get home to his sick wife or something and his kids apparently haven’t eaten all day... Silly right? What do kids even eat? I’m sure they have some extra Pokeblock the little ones can tease on. Don’t worry tho, I let him go after he taught me some how to write all pretty. (Between you and me I made him write that first bit)
ANYWAY! My adventures have been short, I’ve no Pokemon but I have made a real interesting friend. His name is Roy and could you believe that he calls himself a criminal? I nearly laughed myself silly just thinking about how he struggled to catch this blue disks thing I threw at him you should have seen it! That guy was a riot, though he kept saying he wanted to teach me a lesson which I thought would have been fun but he just wanted a regular ole Pokemon battle, which I lost but whateeeeeeeeeever right? For a broody guy Roy makes the cutest little squeal when you give him a noogie. I think I might look for him one of these days, give him a good ole Tanba style wresslin.
I have really gotten off track, why am I writing that bit, eh I’ll just make someone edit it out la-
uh the person who was writin’ this letter fo me said he really had 2 go so ima touff this out on my own please massage me back when u get the chance nhaving a penpal is gonna help me write bettor do u like 2 workout? i like 2 work out! ill attach a pic of me so u can see what i look like maybe we can meat up and have some fun. like a wresslin session! : u )

[attr="class","smdbody"] ash lay cocooned in a thick layer of freshly laundered sheets, her gaze fixed upon the dimly-lit screen of a television - it's front bulging and its model boxy and well aged. she was watching the local news, a well-dressed gentleman boasting a unovan accent informing his audience of a chance of rain. to be perfectly honest, she was barely listening to the man's irritatingly upbeat tone, her mind having wandered and her vision blurring slightly at the edges as she sunk deeper and deeper into the murky depths of her sleep addled mind. 'i can't...' she had trouble sleeping lately, like her brain refused to turn itself off and grant her a moment's reprieve. no, it had instead been filled with so much stuff. it had gotten so bad and so frequent that ash felt as though she was suffering from a legitimate bout of insomnia that had been brought on due to her experience in that damnable tower. the girl loathed to admit that it was effecting her this deeply - that she would replay the event on a seemingly endless loop until she grew riled and restless. 'i can't sleep.' ash released a miserable little groan of frustration, her eyes squeezing shut as she drowned out the man's voice and clenched her teeth. " urgh!" the girl fumbled for the remote, quickly jabbing at its buttons so to shut off the television so she could focus. her right arm throbbed painfully as she grasped at the sheets that covered her lean frame. at her journey's start, she had been softer; but the excess fat had melted as she stuck to a strict regiment and altered her diet. 'food sounds pretty good right about now.' the girl wanted to stand and dig into her pack to retrieve her trail mix or even spoil herself by ordering some form of fast food. ramen sounded amazing right now, and she felt her mouth fill with saliva at the thought of the salty and warm mixture that would leave her completely and utterly sated. she shared her mother's affection for noodles, despite them being hefty in calories. as a child, she had gorged on them as often as possible, caring little about the consequences of frequently dining upon such delectably fattening foods. 'later,' she thought, wrapping her arms around her bent knees. 'i'll eat later.' the sheets fell away once she released them from her slightly shaky fingers, revealing her body underneath. she was sporting only a sport's bra and panties, her columns of flesh exposed to the chilled air of the room. a plethora of ugly scars covered her frame - a vast majority of them acquired from her journey thus far. she had pushed both herself and her companions hard, and the girl had seeped crimson and bore evidence of her training sessions because of it. other changes to her body had occurred; ash's hands had grown increasingly callous and she had cut her hair a little shorter, the brunette locks slightly uneven now but decently styled. 'exercises. exercises. i'll do those, yeah.' ash stood on wobbly legs, her body slightly numb due to her having kept her previous position for a while too long. the fighter began to commit to her routine upon the carpeted floor of her cheap hotel room, starting with the usual squats and lunges. she doubled the usual reps, wanting to distract herself from her hunger and her own poisonous thoughts. 'the fall - my brother - fire.' her right arm ached. " one - two - three - four - five - " she had to be a machine; she had to keep going; she couldn't allow for a few shitty emotions to distract her from her objective. " - six - seven - eight - nine - ten." there was too much that had to be done. personal weakness would slow her down. " one - two - three - four - five - " crunches, now. her abdominal muscles burned as she pushed herself a bit harder than usual. ash felt her stomach cramp up a bit, but she ignored it. " - six - seven - eight - nine - ten." this was her therapy and this would be how she both cope and punish herself for her pitiful display at the tower and her inability to act. ash's eyes fell shut, her breath escaping her in light pants as she continued. " one - two - three..." [attr="class","smdtags"] | [attr="class","smdlyrics"] [attr="class","mdlyric"] [attr="class","giveitlyric"] |

[attr="class","extradoradoright"] [attr="class","extradoradoscroll"] [attr="class","extradoradotext"] Rain smattered down, breaking against her shoulders and rolling in silver slivers down the round surface of her helmet. The sky was dark, and the wind howled in threat as it tore against the trees, grass bowing weakly under its ferocious assault. With a final swing of her rubber-headed mallet, the course was repaired, the final post driven deep enough in the earth that the wind was forced to cut around its shape, unable to send it bowing back.[break][break] A couple of staggering steps back and the hammer was dropped, sounding with a wet thud against the rain-soaked, slicked blades of grass.[break][break] ''Again,'' she called in her soft voice, expectation giving a slight edge to her tone.[break][break] ''Faster.''[break][break] Sirius gave a low growl, head bowed and fur soaked to the bone. The violent storm sapped at the fire type's energy, muscles shuddering as she set a paw forward, forcing herself to another round of practice. Apollo gave no cry in response, his own head low as his wings screeched to open, the rainwater leaving pockets of rust at the blades of his feathers.[break][break] Ten rose her helmet to gaze out over the makeshift course, chest heaving slow with tired breath.[break][break] How long had it been since the tower?[break][break] Her legs were moving on their own, hazy stare gazing out through the veil of rain coloring the world in a drab curtain of grey.[break][break] What was the death toll?[break][break] Heavy boots launched her up to the air, arms stretched high to catch her fingers on the cobbled wooden ledge in front of her. Her muscles screamed as gravity called for her return to the ground, fingers shaking in their stubborn grip as her arm lone arm strained against her weight. She hadn't forgotten a single name. One family. How many more years each might have had to pursue life.[break][break] Her arm was pulling her up, its opposite coming to brace against the ledge. Sirius and Apollo remained toward the ground, the bird having laid itself in the grass and lost consciousness, water pooling to stream in rivers down to leave amber trails along his soiled wings. Sirius took a stumbling step before leaping to join at her master's side, the fatigue catching her as her paws hit to the ledge. Her body crumbled at the impact, paws giving way to send her plummeting to the wet grass below.[break][break] Ten didn't look back, hiking her boot beneath her to get to her feet as she started on the makeshift rock wall, bracing her fingers against the thin blocks of wood driven into the tall metal sheet serving to stabilize them.[break][break] ''Focus, Sirius.''[break][break] Sirius shook her fur as she ambled to her feet, turning carefully to lock her narrowed eyes on the ledge with a threatening snarl, muscles coiling before shooting her up for a second try. She stumbled forward as her paws hit their mark, her head bumping against her next opponent as Ten made her way to the top of the wall.[break][break] ''Calculate before you jump.''[break][break] With a sharp snort the dog did as instructed, hunching to the ground and gazing over its opponent warily before leaping toward the first small handhold, feet working quickly to skip from one perch to another.[break][break] ''Roar.''[break][break] Sirius landed with her paws to the top ledge of the wall and opened her jaws wide in a vicious roar, the sound startling the resting birds from the trees nearby. Their wings stretched out as they fled toward the sky, Apollo's eyes blinking open to turn wearily toward the pair - the trainer having already moved on to run across the slicked plank of wood to the next obstacle.[break][break] ''Apollo!''[break][break] Her voice was hoarse, the increase in volume straining her vocal chords.[break][break] ''We aren't finished! Don't give up!''[break][break] With a solemn crane of his neck Apollo rose to his feet, wings spanning wide as he gave them a weak, gentle flap, throwing a few drops of water from their tips. The Skarmory was well beyond exhausted, but it seemed he wouldn't be allowed rest just yet.[break][break] Their future battles would be a thousand times harder on them than this.[break][break]Ten's dry eyes stung, her body moving of its own accord as she dove her way through one of the hoops standing along the raised beam, rolling to rise to her feet just in time to launch herself through the second.[break][break] Apollo was already up in the air, flying at her side. His wings angled quickly to send him rising and falling through the series of circles marking his own unique course, feathers shuddering under the wind.[break][break] Sirius could only manage a jog, pushing herself to leap through the rings as she continued after her master.[break][break] ''After this. Just one more -- ''[break][break] Suddenly the world shifted, the view of her helmet turning toward the sky as the wind whipped at her back, her foot sliding from underneath her. Sirius barked madly in her ear, the whistling creak of wet metal signalling a change in Apollo's course.[break][break] Her body cracked against the ground, eyes opening wide as her shoulder guided her fall, the sweeping turn of Skarmory too slow to catch her before she could strike the earth. Her mouth opened in a silent cry, whirring thoughts stopping short as the sky overhead disappeared into blackness.[break][break]
[break]She woke to the familiar ring of her phone, eyes blinking open blearily to a visor obscured with thick drops of gathered rain, the images of the pokémon looming over her reduced to shapeless blots of color. A sharp sound echoed in her skull.[break][break] ''Phone.''[break][break] Sirius bolted off, leaving Apollo's rust-ridden form looming over her, wings spread to shelter her from the rain to the best of his ability. Her hand moved weakly to wipe the drops of water from the face of her helmet, soft eyes set on the bird with a gratitude it wouldn't be able to see through the helmet.[break][break] The weight in her waiting palm meant the arrival of her phone, her thumb moving easily to answer as it rang out a second time.[break][break] ''Hello?''[break][break] Her voice was breathy, unsure.[break][break] “Oh, little flower, did I wake you? Are you having nightmares again?” [break] ''No, Papa.''[break][break] Ten sat up slowly, Sirius seating herself at her side. She slumped forward, dropping her phone to her lap. Her head bowed to one side as she rest a hand to her aching shoulder. It had fallen out of place. Her gaze turned slowly to observe.[break][break] “You sound so tired. Is everything alright?” [break] She eased her fingers along the joint of her shoulder, opting not to force her arm back into place while still on the phone.[break][break] ''I'm just training.''[break][break] The answer was easy, tone casual despite the twitch in her overworked leg, the burn of her heart as it beat against her ear.[break][break] “Ooooh. Oh.” [break] He didn't get it.[break][break] “You haven't called much since the tower.” [break] Her eyes fell closed as she bowed her head.[break][break] ''I know.''[break][break] ''I'm sorry.''[break][break] “I'm just glad you're okay.” [break] She didn't answer as she pushed herself up to her feet, a hand grasping for her phone as Apollo stepped a short ways back to get out of her path.[break][break] “Right?” [break] ''Mhm.''[break][break] The answer came without thought as she wandered over toward her moped, opening up the storage compartment to pull out a stark white, undecorated towel.[break][break] “Then. I'll let you go. I just wanted to hear your voice -- ” [break] Her eyes turned toward the sky at the sound of her name, watching the storm rage overhead.[break][break] “Make sure you get enough sleep.” [break] She didn't answer.[break][break] After a couple minutes of silence from both parties her helmet's speakers gave a faint click. He'd ended the call.[break][break] Her eyes dropped toward the phone in her grip, staring toward its rain-dappled surface, pokémon waiting exhausted behind her.[break][break] Tucking the phone to its holster at her hip she reached her hand for the throbbing joint of her shoulder, gripping tightly to the bone of her slender arm and forcing it harshly into place. Her eyebrows tightened together at the jolt of pain, the weak fingers of the injured arm shifting weakly against the soft, wettened fabric of the towel in their hold to ensure they still worked.[break][break] Maybe she'd send him a postcard. [nospaces][googlefont=Ubuntu] Sender: Edward Falk [break][break] Pokemon Center, Tanba City [break][break] To: Elizabeth Falk [break][break] Apartment 13, Building 354, Clefairy street, Jubilife City, Shinnoh [break][break] To ol…Mom even though I don’t know why I have to even write this since we can actually call and all that. [break][break] Anyways I did arrive just fine in Asagi even though the boat ride was a bit meh with Quake being so restless and surrounded by water, yes that is my Cyndaquil as you know. Not that I didn’t get him since most of the other passenger were dull and none wanted to practically battle with me or just thought they were too strong for just a starting trainer. Bunch of pansies I tell you so with nothing left I mainly just red up on stuff about Johto, I know painful. Still things did pick up after we got off the damn boat. [break][break] Asagi was alright enough didn’t look around much before heading out to train on the near route. Got my second partner there a lazy Croagunk with a penchant for battle, he is nicknamed Nox and I better not hear anything about my nicknaming sense again woman. Nothing too eventful after that mostly training around that route and such which was kind of fun. Except those miltanks, they are freaking annoying and I hate them so probably would never ask if that damnable ranch needs help or anything, the money was just not worth it. [break][break] Before you ask no I haven’t traveled beyond Enju city so as I told you, you don’t have to worry about me seeing as I was nowhere near close to Madatsubomi tower. I’ve caught a few bits and pieces and some of the locals seems shaken I’m but not as informed or involved so nothing beyond what you know as well. With that knowledge reaffirmed again you can stop chewing out my ass to be careful sheesh. I mean I even went in the opposite direction when I decided I couldn’t stay near Anju anymore and went to Tanba city instead. [break][break] Not much between that though because as you know we actually got on and talked with video and all but no I got to practice and that letters have a certain charm to them or something. Che, I know your game you old hag, you just know I don’t like this so you made me do it. Well ha I can say whatever I want now and won’t get reprimanded or yelled at so enjoy all those grey hairs that you try and call just more platinum blonde then the rest. [break][break] I don’t know how soon we’ll talk again so I might as well write about what’ve been doing recently since I’ve already started this dumb letter. Tanba city is alright it was hosting a contest so got to watch one live and it’s not my thing though I might maybe probably try one in the future due to some advice. Now for something truly interesting Quake finally evolved. I don’t think I mentioned when we talked but I noticed the beginning signs of it even before we left Asagi but man it was glorious thing to behold, He is still the same as ever though in fact I would say his personality now even suits his form. [break][break] So yeah, he is not an adorable ball of flames as you labeled him anymore and yes, I did remember to take a picture of us in fact it should be inside the envelope as well when I finally finish and send this thing. I will be traveling a bit more and spend time on the route training so the calls might be a bit more infrequent then you’d like. Just make sure to not make dad go too crazy and you both better ease down on the coffee. Drinking such large quantities is not good for a bunch of fossils like you and also try and get more sleep because I know you probably been staying up late with me not being around to shout at you to turn off the damn lamp. [break][break] Not much left to say just stay safe I guess and I’ll call when I can or try and write another one of these damn things. [break][break] PS: Old man I’m sorry you have to take all the heat from mom since I left. I hope you survive until I comeback. [break][break] Some thing that needs to be written at the bottom[break][break] That I don’t remember what it was so deal with it.[break][break] Edwards Falk template coded by nara of ww

All in all the clock is slow, Six color pictures all in a row Of a marigold. Dear Zeref [break] [break] Oh Zeref there are so many things that I want to talk to you about on this long ass letter but I’m going to start from the very beginning when we first met. You were a little baby well not technically a baby maybe around the age of 5 was when we first met. You were shy and timid always seen crying in a corner and running away from your problems. I was always there to keep you safe from harm. I would find ways to make you happy but you would push me aside as if I was some sort of dirty toy doll you refuse to play with. I’m sure you don’t remember how much you enjoyed playing with Barbie dolls but I’ll stop right there before going into any more details. [break] [break] Seeing how my existence itself wasn’t working, I’ve decided to go to your mother for help. Although I never told her how I felt she always seemed to know exactly what was wrong. It was as if she was some sort of mind reader you know? Anyways since she was practicing to become a coordinator back then. Since she seems to be the expert when it comes to making people happy she decided to pass down one of her talents to me. That’s right it’s my dancing skills she taught me how to dance and how to become more creative with my attacks! Thanks to her I was able to make you smile and get you out of your damn corner! I was hoping you would grow out of it even at this damn age. One thing for sure at least till this very day my dancing skills makes you laugh and that’s all what matters to me. [break] [break] Growing up you has always wanted to become some sort of bodyguard. Even till this very day I can’t figure out what made you choose this path. I get it your in love with Cassandra and no matter how many times you try to deny this love you just know darn well you can’t resist her beauty. In the end I know you like her because of her personality and how she treats you compared to others she has always been your first crush since the very beginning. Now listen I can go on and on about how much you love this women but that’s not the point of this letter. [break] [break] The reason why I’m writing to you is to say thank you. When we were separated at that tower I was worried as fuck about you. I kept looking back to see if you were following but you didn’t and when the tower fell I was in even more panic. I wanted to escape from the other Rangers arms but I knew deep down you were okay. You wouldn’t die on me like that now would you? When you came rushing to me I knew you were worried about me as well and that alone made me tear up. I don’t know what I would’ve done without you despite the fact you can be an annoying pain in the ass trainer but in the end I still like you either way. So thanks for being an amazing Ranger and let’s try to avoid that crazy bitch when we get home. [break] [break] PS: DON’T YOU DARE SCARE ME LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN OR I’LL FLAMETHROWER YOU AND MAKE YOU CRY SO HARD YOUR FACE WILL PERMANENTLY STAY RED![break][break] [break] Sincerely your Growlithe,[break] Parsifal

Dear Ojii-San, I miss you dearly, there was a point in time where I could not sleep through my tears because I could not get over the fact that you had finally moved on from this world. I don't think I'll truly ever get over your passing, but with your parting gift in Ralts and your last words to me I know I can manage. I'll of course be leaving home soon, there is hardly anything here for me but memories of you. I've decided that I should become a trainer, the best trainer in all of Johto. I want our family name to ring bells far and wide so people will come from all over and join our Dojo. Speaking of the Dojo I found a litter of Poochyena in the basement and they all seemed to have gotten attached to Ralts. So attached I fear they have made him his mother and he doesn't even seem to mind. It's been a few days and their own mother hasn't shown up for her pups which has me worried that she might not be able to come back for them. It makes me wonder how they got in the Dojo in the first place but of course I will take care of them until they can be on their own. Maybe it'll be nice to have them around, they could even maybe become the mascots of the Dojo with their " Mama " Ralts leading them all. The thought alone is pretty funny right Ojii-San? I don't know what I should be writing Ojii-San, A friend of mine said it might be good to just write a letter to you, that it might help me move on. But what am I suppose to say? You are gone and you aren't going to be reading this. I'm scared and uncertain of my future, and although I haven't left town yet I am training Ralts to the best of my abilities in order to be strong enough to do so. Oh yea, I made a friend maybe I should have told you that first. I could remember the time I couldn't make any friends. Remember Ojii-San? Growing up no one wanted to be friends with the girl who could speak without speaking, the girl with no parents? The town only acknowledged me after you passed and even then it was out of respect to you and distant pity towards me. I think I'll leave this place for good, maybe move the Dojo to it's own island and trainer others to be great trainers and teach them to never be afraid of the unknown. I don't know what today holds or even tomorrow. But maybe in writing this I can stop holding myself back, and live my life freely. You always believed in me and you were always there for me, of course I knew you weren't going to be around forever. Since finding me on your doorstep in the rain all you have done has led up to the moment, where I needed to go out in the world. But you know what, I'm going to explore this world and live my life to the fullest, make friends, maybe a family, but I won't wallow in my sorrows anymore if I can help it. I'll live these days as you wanted me too...Happily. Oh Ojii-San, maybe you can read this and if you can please know that of course I'll carry you in my heart no matter where I go. I'll let you rest peacefully now, I won't let you worry anymore. You didn't fail me and I won't fail you. My story truly starts now, Thank you. Your Loving Grand, Murasaki.
P.S: I have finally found your legendary curry recipe. You gave me quite the goose chase for this. Thank you.

[attr="class","joy2"] [attr="class","joy1"] [attr="class","joyless"] "Why don't you give our Cousin in Tanba City some help? I hear the big summer festival is approaching, and I'm sure she'd appreciate the help!"A set of black painted lips pressed together into a fine line, auburn hued eyes looking through a pair of large, rounded sunglasses. The shade of a patterned parasol masked the woman lounging on the towering chair supported by wooden beams. A delicate pale hand wiped what minuscule amounts of sweat that was produced on the woman's forehead, a long sigh escaping her lips as the hand limped back into its place at her lap. Shifting in her spot, she extended one leg out and pulled the other to bend knee up on the seat. The sun shimmered along the endless expanse of sand and salt water, the laughter of human and pokemon harmonizing in unision. Brushing a black lock behind her ear, the other hand reached out to take hold of the heavily condensing bottle. Cracking the lid open to greedily empty a portion of the contents into her mouth, swallowing with gusto before slamming it down at the arm rest. The woman's lips twisted together, brows pinching together with a rather disgusted look on her face. "May! I'm so glad you were able to come!" the pink haired woman gave a wave of her hand as she jogged over towards the heavily covered black haired woman. Grasping at May's hands, the lightly tanned woman gave a large smile as she easily slid the rescue buoy over. Pulling away to make a small distance and put her hands together with a very apologetic look on her face. "I'm sorry to ask this of you, but I'm needed at the clinic. Will you take over the lifeguard duty for the Pokemon on this beach? You've always been such a good swimmer, so I know I can entrust this too you."
"Dewgong will help you!" the Nurse exclaimed as she began running off with a wave of her hand, her pink one-piece suit shimmering in the light. May cast her gaze towards the Dewgong who merely canted his head and gave a very encouraging noise in reply.Black painted nails gripped tightly at the wooden armrest, white teeth gritted and exposing themselves behind dark painted lips. A wave of angry emanated from the woman, a few passersby visibly avoiding her spot on the beach. The same intense anger emanating off the pink Chansey stationed just at the bottom of the high chair, fitted with the rescue buoy at her side. The Dewgong and Splendid, however, remained at rest right under the large shade provided by May's parasol. The white seal laid slightly curled up while the small Eevee rested on top of the seal's body. His tail curled around his little body, every so often cracking an eye open to glance at the passing individuals. Shifting uncomfortably at her spot, May gave a small grunt as she straightened her legs to hang off the side and reclined back into the chair barely sitting up. Her gaze passed from each person and then onto their Pokemon before slowly resting onto the form of a very small boy. His lackluster gaze set on her form, he licked haphazardly on the cone in his hand. Standing there without a word for a few seconds before finally taking a breath to speak. "Are you really a lifeguard? You look pretty scary to be one." he bluntly inquired, returning to licking his cone as he watched her expectantly. Tapping a black painted finger on the armrest, she tilted her head back as she inspected the boy in return. Lurching her body forward, her body came to a rest as she leaned heavily into her knees with arms dangling over the other off her legs. "Nobody likes a twerp asking stupid questions while they're licking their damn ice cream cone." she harshly spoke towards the boy, brows furrowing together. "So, scram before I eat you."White teeth lunged out in a bite of the air as the kid began squirming and scurrying off with a yelp. His voice carrying through the crowd mentioning about a vampire on the beach. The edge of her lip curled upward as she pulled her back to recline on the chair once more. A pale leg extending over the other and a hand reaching for the cold water at her side. Just as the light pink straw is brought to her lips, the sound of someone calling out for her catches her attention. "Lifeguard! Lifeguard! My Pokemon, my Sandshrew!" the woman called out in a panic, stumbling her way through the sand. Pushing herself up to sit up more properly, she looks towards the desperate woman and then the arm that was held out showing the direction of where her Sandshrew was. Out in the distance was a small blob of yellow in the ocean squirming around. Jumping from her spot and discarding the cold water, she took the rescue buoy from Chansey and began sprinting off. "Dewgong!"Without getting any further instruction from the woman, she began rushing towards the water edge. Easily sliding into the water and ducking into the water to avoid the lapping wave ready to crush her back to the shore. The sound of the seal Pokemon rushing along the sand came to her ear as she surfaced up on the water, arms extending out to pull her body through the water. "Don't you worry, Sandshrew! I'm coming for you!"
Once the seal hit the water, his body seemed to slither against the liquid and he was instantly at the woman's side. Grabbing onto the Dewgong, she allowed the Pokemon to carry her through the water at a faster pace as she directed him towards the drowning Sandshrew. As the ground type Pokemon began to sink into the water, the two delved into the water and shot right towards the Sandshrew. Extending a hand out towards the Sandshrew, she grabbed hold of its little arm and pulled it towards her body. Holding it closely to her body, she gave a small nod towards the Dewgong to carry them back towards the shore. Erupting into clean air, May gave a large gasp as she glanced down at the Sandshrew tightly held at her chest. Her brows knitted together with worry before turning her attention back towards the shore that began to make its way closer to the three. As the feeling of wet ground touched her toes, she let go of the Dewgong to begin waddling her way to the sand. Once out of the water, she lightly laid down the Sandshrew and took note of its breathing and listened for a heartbeat. The sobs of the woman coming to her ear. Beginning Pokemon CPR on the Sandshrew, after a minute or two, a large breath of water escaped the Pokemon's lungs. Lurching to the side and then popping up into a sitting position, shaking his little head as he glanced around towards the smiling form of May and then towards its trainer. Holding his tiny little hands out, he gave a happy sound his body being instantly enveloped by the woman. "Oh thank you! Thank you so much!"Wiping strands of black hair from her face, dark painted lips spread into a smile. The edges of her eyes softening as she gazed at the two, a hand pushing herself up to stand. A hand was placed on her bare hip, the two piece black bathing suit being more noticeable in the light. "It's my pleasure! I'm so glad to see that your Sandshrew is okay, please be more careful playing out in the ocean. It's not hard for the waves to pull you away from the shore."The woman gave a firm nod of her head, looking back at her Sandshrew and holding it tightly to her body as she stood up. "I will. We will!" she bowed thankfully towards May who gave a wave and a smile in return. Auburn hues passed from her form unto the others looking at her, their own smiling faces mirroring her own. As the sudden realization dawned on her, she instantly turned on her heel and covered her mouth with a hand. Rushing towards the high chair to climb up and take her seat once more, she slouched in the chair with a scowl on her face once more. The Dewgong lazily rumbling into his spot, allowing the Eevee to reclaim his spot on top of his sleek body. The angry Chansey seeming to have never left her spot of glaring off into the distance. Dear Mom,
Things have being going very good in Kogane City. May arrived not too long ago and I must say what you described didn't properly convey what I was going to see.
She has been adjusting fairly well to the clinic. I can see how Chansey's death really hit hard for her. Dying her hair, putting coloured contacts in, changing her wardrobe entirely. She's lost a lot of weight too I've noticed. But I'm sure with time, she'll be able to return to the May Joy we all knew and love. She just needs some time to grieve properly, and her big sister is here to help her through the process!
She used to love the beach a lot, so I've sent her to visit with Cousin Joy in Tanba City to help out with the celebrations going on. Hopefully that'll renew some old fond memories for her with Chansey. Oh, she got a new Chansey while she was out at the Safari. She hasn't given her a name yet, but I'm hoping since she's invested in another Pokemon that she's working on getting through her troubles. She'll make some new fond memories with the new Pokemon she has.
Give Dad our love and wishes, and we both love you very much mom.

| DO YOU REMEMBER? LOOK AT ME AND ALL THE THINGS WE SAID WE'D BE. WE BEAT THE HOUNDS, WE PUSHED THE ODDS. WE'D TAKE IT ALL - WE HAD THE CAUSE. WITH YEARS TO BURN AND YEARS TO TRASH, LIVIN' LIFE BASED ON FLASH. BUT SOMEHOW REACHING FOR THE STARS, I THINK WE WENT A BIT TOO FAR.
Antral Slade,
Mr. Slade, I've continued my studies overseas despite your continued and vocal disapproval. My siblings have informed that since your removal from your position you've expressed want for me to return to the Kalos region which I believe is punctuated by my involvement in the Madatsubomi Incident, which despite how unlike you it is to give momentary thought to me gave me quite the laugh. I can only imagine it is due to the bad press received thereafter there after about how one of your three children was caught in and narrowly managed to survive the incident. When in truth (forgive me for writing out of turn) I believe you could careless about what happened to me when compared to your reputation, or at all really.
Still I'll use this letter as on opening to at least update you on my current status as a professor-in-training and more over as a professor.
Since my leaving of the region I've caught eight pokemon, seven of them I continue to raise and serve as my main force. They consist of Metagross (the beldum mother gave me before her passing) Staraptor, Scizor, Dusclops, Umbreon, Dragonair, and Kabutops. While I (purposefully) haven't conquered any gyms yet I plan to start challenging Johto's leaders soon, not to follow in your footsteps as your legacy disgusts me (in no small amount), but to show how incompetent the pokemon league is as a whole. While you were busy controlling the media concerning that 'event' I was busy thinking on how something so incredibly terrible something that took the lives of countless youths came to be and in my searching even more than the attackers I can only blame the negligence of the pokemon league as a whole. As such I alongside a like-minded individual have created an organization to combat not only the terrorists who enacted the incident, but one to eventually replace the Johto pokemon league as a whole. An organization dedicated to protecting the people, and who will be there when there protectors are too busy with the nuances of their service, See: 'Ex-Kalos Champion Antral Slade' as a secondary citation.
My studies, despite all that's happened thus far have been going well. Balancing these different aspects of my life have proven challenging, yes, but with the support of my new found allies, or even just support in general I've found it easier to make due. It's amazing how much 'support' can help in all things I wish it was something I learned more about as a child. On the subject of my allies and friends I've met someone...special. Someone more special than you have ever been or could be and as time goes on I fall more in love with her each and every day.
I sometimes wonder if this is what it was like when you met mom. Before money and power warped you into the man you became? Mother used to tell me stories of how you both met in your youth and how different you both were. I've made it a point not to be like you despite how strong I become, and to keep her first and to empower her in all that she does and we do. It's odd, even now. She's the most frustrating person. She doesn't know when to take it easy, she's mean, rude, callous, cold and her one track mind rivals my own, but still she's.. all I could ever want out of another and each of these traits is balanced by such passion it's hard to even....
I've rambled long enough.
I've only written this letter to ease the mind of your eldest son, who has in recent weeks become quite the annoyance. I wonder if you even got this far before throwing the letter into the fire. Regardless with this my duty is done.
Your forgotten son, - Azad Slade

"Hey, Pops. It's been awhile." Chancelor strolls into the familiar chamber, an explainable sense of pride and worth washing over the prodigy as he approaches his father who is sitting on a decorated pillow, patiently awaiting his youngest son and heir to fully approach.
"Things have been crazy in Johto, y'know? I woulda' been back sooner, b-."
"You're troubled, son. What really happened? What broke your resolve?" Words were intercepted by the large man before Chancelor—countered perfectly with words from his father thrown in retaliation.
Chancelor is stopped dead in his tracks, like a blow to the gut that made him lose every ounce of oxygen within him. "'what broke my resolve?' Nothin', what are you talkin' about?"
His fathers kingly gaze was dissecting him with the precision of a neurosurgeon. The emotional barriers the boy had put up stood no chance against the unrelentingly force of a father that knew his child all to well. Like a battering ram pounding on reinforced castle gates, eventually said gate would be sieged and the courtyard filled with hostile invaders. "Come sit and allow me to tell you what I see before me now."
Chancelor does just that, legs moving again, carrying him forward as he sits at the little Japanese like table across from his father, chin resting in an open palm in a rather relaxed manner.
"Before you left on your journey, you stood here before me with resolve unlike any I have seen before. I could have told you to jump and reach for the skies, and you would have done just that, and when you would have came back down to the ground. In your hand would be stardust." He pauses, that fatherly gaze continuously cutting through flesh, bone, and emotion.
"What I see now is a young man teetering on the edge of self hatred and depression. What broke that iron will. What really took place at Madatsubomi Tower?"
"Nothin' I couldn't handle."
"Then why are you so tense?"
"Because I'm sitting here with you trying to convince you there ain't nothin' wrong with me."
"Your beliefs were tested, do you feel like you'defended them?"
Chancelor averts his gaze for a moment, exhaling an uncomfortable sigh as he sits up straight and proper for the time being. "The best I could, yea'?"
"You are alive and well. Made it out of that ordeal practically unscratched. You're teachings have brought you far."
The teenager shrugs his shoulders, "A few bumps and bruises, but time heals all wounds, y'know?"
"Time heals wounds, but scars in the flesh show how delicate the human body truly is. You have a wound that is bleeding profusely, son. Eventually it will heal with a little care, but the scar that will be left in its wake will forever hurt you."
Chance went silent, not really in the mode to deal with such riddles.
"Are you really going to run from this?"
He snaps with words, hands balled into tight fists. "I ain't runnin' for nothin'."
"Then speak or be content with all your actions. Have zero regrets."
"What do you want me to say, Pops, huh? You want me to spill my guts? Lets do it then. I was terrified, not terrified for my own safety, but terrified for all those damn sheep around. Those damn cowards... Every single one em', but they didn't deserve to die, Pops. Ain't no one deserve to go out that way."
"You did everything you could, son. I know you did because you don your heart on your sleeve and it is bleeding something vicious right now. In this world you'll realize not everyone is a fighter, and when you realize that for what it is. You'll then realize you can't fight for everyone nor can you help everyone."
"I already kno-"
"You know nothing, son. That's your biggest and most exploitable flaw. You think you know everything, but you don't know anything about nothing. You are still but a child with a bright future ahead of yourself. Stop being so close minded and actually listen for once."
Chancelor goes silent, "Death is a bitter pill to swallow. One is more likely to gag to death before swallowing it whole. You witnessed the effect of it up close and personal and I am truly sorry you had to be subject to such sights and emotions, but what you're doing is trying to rationalize it, son. There is nothing you could have done for any of those people despite how hard you try."
"I tried so hard Pops. I tried so damn hard..."
"Up until that point, you've been in control of your life. You lost the wheel and was taken down an unfamiliar road. Full of rocks, bumps, and reckless drivers. There is nothing that can prepare you for such events, all you can do is remain true to yourself and believe there is a way out." "Then why do I feel like this?"
"Because you wish there was more you could have done. You are so willing to put your life on the line, but you hardly lived a life to begin with. You have accomplished much, yes, but there is so much for you to witness and experience. You went to Johto to find yourself, and all you found was..."
"A harsh reality. I get it. I really do. I don't- I don't like feeling this way, Pops. This ain't me, why do I feel so... Unsure...?"
"There comes a time when a man has to stop crossing oceans for people who wouldn't jump over a puddle for him."
Confusion riddles the face of Chancelor.
"Deep down you know you aren't ready to die, son. You can spout all that nonsense you typically do, but in the face of death; regardless on how hard you are. You aren't ready. If you would have died for all those people, you would be a spirit with nothing but regrets and malice."
His father was right, he wasn't ready to die despite how he feels on the surface.
"I ain't ready to die yet, huh...?" Chancelor gives the notion of death one hard thought before speaking again. It was a known fact he'd die for what it was he believed in and if it meant protecting his creed and those that are apart of it. However, similar to what his father said: If he died now; perished so young. He' be nothing but a spirit full of regret and yearning to do accomplish and do more. "You wanna' talk about bitter pills, pops? This is the bitterest of em' all, but you're right. I don't want to die, I ain't ready to die." He admits, pride shrinking in size a tad bit.
"It's alright, son. You'll figure it out one day. Don't allow this incident to consume you. Let it show you the truth and learn from it."
"And what truth is that, pops?"
Changing the subject, his father speaks on a different matter. "Your sisters wish for you to stay at the compound for awhile. Will you oblige their wishes?"
Chancelor shrugs his shoulders, "I guess. I- I really don't wanna' be alone right now, y'know? Gravity can't hold me down, but I know you guys can."
His father nods, "you're more than welcome to stay as long as you need, son. Welcome home."
"You're the best, pops. But, uh-" Chancelor struggles to speak what is currently on his mind, "lemme' tell ya' what went down a day or so before I was on my way back."
His father simply seats with keen ears and eyes, awaiting for more words to be spoken by his son.
"There's this Professor, right? And I kinda' messed up..."

The ranger sat alone in a dimly lit room, the area illuminated by nothing but the dull glow of a computer screen and the faint embers at the end of the cigarette dangling from the man's mouth. His fingers worked quickly on the keyboard, focused yellow eyes darting across the screen as he quickly deciphered the information before him. Another article about the attack on Madatsubomi Tower with the same old comments from league officials. Despite how decisive and determined they seemed to be about apprehending the people responsible for this attack Frederick only saw a group of public officials trying to calm the terrified masses. Their promises were vague and generic, as it seemed none of them had any clue what they were dealing with. They didn't even have the guts to tell the public what really went on in there, the message that all of this was meant to spread. This whole situation brought up a complex mixture of feelings from the ranger.
As much as the dark skinned investigator disagreed with Virus's methods, there was one point that he could not argue. The League could not be trusted to handle matters themselves. If this disease that was spreading turned out to be real, there was no chance that the League wasn't aware of it. Keeping this sort of knowledge from the public was inexcusable, which was the one thing Frederick appreciated about Virus. At least they gave the people the knowledge they needed to protect themselves from the situation. The truth, no matter how grim it may be, should never be hidden from the people it concerns. Yet the comparative peace brought by this ignorance would serve Lore well, as it acted as a calm before the storm that would allow them to gather resources and the support they needed to fully function.
Fred leaned back in his flimsy wooden chair as he took a drag from his cigarette, the nicotine helping to relax his troubled mind and allowing him to fully process the situation at hand. With his fingers no longer tapping at the keyboard a new sound filled the area, although faint. Distant shouts from the floor below and crowds of chattering people, the clanging of pots and pans and the familiar sharp ring of a bell each echoed through the floor panels in turn. It was irritating at first, but the background noise had quickly grown on the dark skinned ranger. It at least gave this shitty place a certain charm.
There was too much to think about, so he couldn't allow his thoughts to linger on the activities going on below. What was Virus really up to? Was that speech given by their leader genuine or filled with lies and half truths? Was that even really their leader or was it simply a figurehead meant to draw attention from what they were really up to? The professor never made an appearance and he had yet to hear any word about what the announcement was actually supposed to be before Virus took over. Was she somehow involved or was she simply another victim of the attack? Her body was never recovered so if they killed her they properly disposed of the body...
Frederick's brows rose as there was a knock at the door, prompting the man to pull the cigarette from his mouth and gently lean it against the ashtray beside him. He already knew who it was and what they wanted, but he wasn't expecting them to be arriving already. Had he already lost track of time? He glanced down to the corner of the screen, revealing that it was in fact 1:30 AM. Had he really been at this for five hours already? Fortunately he wasn't feeling the desire to sleep just yet, his mind still racing with thoughts and possibilities regarding his investigation. After taking a moment to clear his throat the ranger would put on his usual calm smile and slip his thumbs behind his suspenders as he always did. "Come in my friend." The pressure he felt was disguised by his relaxed tone, sounding more like he just got finished watching a pleasant movie than tirelessly working to put all the pieces together.
The door swung open, the light from the other room flooding into Frederick's barren 'office'. The room was totally empty save for the obviously cheap desk and chair where the man was situated and a sleeping bag that lay rolled up in the corner. Not that the small room had room for much else. His eyes struggled to make out the defined features of the individual in the doorway, the illumination from behind rendering only a dark yet still familiar outline. The ranger's fingers knit together as he leaned forward, eyes narrowing slightly as he did his best to stifle a yawn that had managed to sneak up on him. Maybe he was feeling more worn out than he thought. "The league is doing a good job at hiding the truth from the people. Even with such a grand display they still seem to think that keeping this under wraps is somehow going to work in their benefit. Things are only going to get messier when word finally gets out. Hopefully we will be ready by the time that moment comes."
He let out a sigh and shrugged his shoulders before continuing. "We certainly have our work cut out for us, don't we?" A hand reached to take the still lit cigarette from the ash tray and bring it to his lips, his lungs expanding as he deeply inhaled the toxic gas. He exhaled the smoke through his nostrils, a hand moving to run through his long dark hair as a hint of stress finally appeared on his face. They were the third runner in a two rapidash race, and the heat was on to catch up to both Virus and the League before it was too late. As far as Frederick was concerned, this was a do or die scenario. "So. Tell me you've got some good news."

{ } "How have things been lately? Are you well?"These words, sent to him from his mother, were difficult to answer. Anytime he thought of his family at home, Derek felt saddened about how his sister wouldn't be there if he'd ever returned to show off his badges or pokemon in person. Yet even if he struggled, Derek knew better than to leave his mother's e-mail go unanswered. Even if for one day. "I've been doing good. Saw some pokemon the other day that Adele would've been mad for." Adele was the name of his little sister. She was a sweet, but most of all brave soul that most people couldn't help but wish the best for. "What about you and dad? Are things alright back at home?"Moments later, a file began loading itself onto his screen at the pokecenter. When it could finally be opened, Derek was mirthful to see a photo of him and his sister. "We're fine. Your father and I have been digging through our family photo albums. He guessed that this one would be your favorite. You should go get a copy made, that way she'll always be with you." It ended there... Writing up a response, Derek couldn't help but give into the urge to exit out of the computer. Instead he gathered his belongings and made way for the door. He found a nice place to sit outside before taking out a pen and some paper. As he began to jot down his thoughts, a few tears trickled down his cheek and unto the paper. He cursed himself on the inside... "Somebody else really needed the computer, so I am writing you back instead. I'll have a copy made as soon as I can afford it, thank you - and it is! Also, if you've been wondering, I will come back home as soon as possible. It's harder being a trainer than I first thought. Sometimes I don't really feel like the one whose in control out here. It's funny to think you might not even recognize me or Zeke when we get back. And so you know, I promised him we wouldn't be returning until we're ready to go to the Dragon's Den. We both know it's what Adele would want."Really, he'd only come outside so that nobody in the pokemon center could witness his crying. If it wasn't shame, it was embarrassment he felt towards such a thing. Derek was supposed to be the tough big brother, wasn't he? That didn't feel like the case. Instead he was writing home to his parents, resisting the obvious urge to come home. He just couldn't... This life was what Adele always desired; to be free. "I'll stay safe, so don't you worry. Asides from all the pressure I put on myself, you should know I am doing well out in the wilds of Johto. Zeke and me are naturals...more or less. I've still got some work to do with his training, but he's as strong and spirited a ever. Write me back and we'll talk more soon, okay?"MADE BY VEL OF GS + WW

[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] He was useless that day... The feeling weighed him down, though he couldn't really let it take over his whole demeanor quite easily. He has somehow taken the role as the mood maker of the team and getting depressed about it would be the opposite of what he should be doing. He wasn't as reliable as Rhyhorn, nor was he good with tasks outside of battles such as both Poochy 1 and 2. The only thing he bested them with was battling, and even that did not seem important enough when Kyle wasn't interested on being a champion anyways. Although he was inside his ball the whole time, he could still feel the panic in his surroundings. While everyone else had their respective Pokemon out, Kyle could not even get him into the fray. He had nothing valuable to contribute back then, and he wouldn't fault his trainer for not relying on him to solve it. It wasn't like he'd suddenly be able to extinguish fires or ferry him out or anything like that. He's had his faults, but this had been the first time he felt down from having them. "Cake. You think she'd like it?"His thoughts were disturbed by a sudden question from his trainer. Looking up as they walked through the busy market streets, he saw not the slightest regret on Kyle's expression about the recent events. They were neutral as always. The only times he had seen him expressive was whenever he was reacting to something. It was always disturbing not being able to read him. Perhaps he simply wasn't that smart, and thus the only way he could tell what his trainer was thinking was forcing him to take action. "Hey, anything wrong?"Worry. Even he could read that just from the tone of his voice and the slightest movement of his brows. This was directed to him though, and not what he should be thinking about. For someone who doesn't seem to be outgoing and a people person, Kyle was rather perceptive with him. The feeling was mutual though, and he knew that he wouldn't want him to feel the same. Though he wasn't sure if the traumatic event had even affected him at all, he still was worried of his trainer. If he was sure about one thing though. Kyle's mind was currently preoccupied about his sister's situation right after that night. He honestly did not know much about her, not like he cared, but he knew that Kyle regarded her as someone important. Steeling his resolve, he figured that he should simply keep up with what was working: being a mood maker. Letting out a bark, he decided to run ahead, his teasing nature resurfacing. A distant "Oi, fucker! Cafe's over here!" sounded behind him along with a series of steps. He supposed he wanted to take his trainer's mind off of his current problem with this little act, but then again, he was more convinced that he was doing this in an effort to comfort himself from thinking himself as unworthy. The carefree nature of his trainer's words calmed him down a bit. Kyle had always been steady and emotionally stable. He'd hope that perhaps it'll rub off of him after a while.erhaps it'll rub off of him after a while. MADE BY NOVA
